If lIn is so dope then why is he not playing now? Meanwhile Dwayne wade just retired and now is possibly going to play for the Lakers...cause he is really that good. Lin sanity had the potential to be a great in the NBA but clearly showed via a video that is still heavily in rotation of him being emotional about not being able to handle being a scrub in the NBA. He is a crybaby... crybabies don't last long anywhere. I actually got to play against him and he was struggling with semi pro ballers so... he was not that great of a player.
He is just another week minded individual using that almighty victim card when reality really told him the truth. Carmelo did not have shit to do with his failing career ya'll giving Melo too much power. Stop it. I know you have heard this saying so I will remind you again ...People don't change people they change them selves... what ever issues he had with Melo or the New York Nicks organization he let them issues destroy him from the inside out. That is not anybody's fault but his own.
He crying after getting a ring GTFOH. Reggie miller,Allen Iverson, Stephon Marbury , Karl Malone,John Stockton, Jeff Honacek etc. A lot of well deserving players who never got rings... no crying. This pussy victim mentality is slowly killing off real men while you crybaby bitches complain literally over nothing with out putting in real hard work. GTFOH from a real man.

Lin and MCW are players who has potential but things outside of their power stripped their potential.
For MCW, it's his pinched nerve injury (remember Steve Nash's time with the Lakers?) For Lin, it's injury in Brooklyn and Melo's jealousy during his Linsanity season.

Carmelo is more than a team killer he’s a career killer.
    What’s wrong with The Association?
They can’t see who the real star is?
Linn is not the only person this has happened to in History but he’s definitely 1 of the most known.
He already accumulated a following that quick so it made no sense that they killed his career over Melo.
Even though Melo did have die hard followers just because they believe everything told to them by ESPN.

Linanity was ruined by Melo. I remember that so vividly. Linsanity wasn’t just about him, but it was getting guys the ball and showing that Dantonis system (not a fan of him) was working as it got the ball to others on the perimeter and set up a high one system, which is what Dantoni had in Phoenix. Lin struggles against aggressive teams that double teamed and took away his right (the heat when they had Norris cole and lebron and wade), but that system could’ve been a foundation and blueprint for potentially new pgs to come to the team. Melo messed it up by wanting to go back to the ineffective iso Melo ball that led the knicks nowhere. And stoudamire said it was Melo, not him, who didn’t want Lin to shine. Remember, amare flourished that half year with Felton In the same system. So he would’ve been fine with Linsanity .

For someone who could come in, get hot so quickly, take over games, etc. Its crazy teams like the Lakers couldn't have at least made better use of JLin as that first guard off the bench. Even if you weren't going to let him really do his thing, for whatever reason teams came up with that week, he could have been a great sixth man.

From that point on I knew he was done. Now if I were a reverse racist then I guess I would choose Yao Ming over Jeremy.. Either way Jeremy lin is a burnt out scrub. Yao Ming left Standing tall and proud representing for his country and people Jeremy left crying like a bitch with a ring. No pity here.

I’m more of an NFL guy myself but people always forget about these players that have one season where they are awesome and then they fizzle out. I hate when people take one season and judge a player to be the next grade because of it. I’ve got to see a few seasons where they come through and they are consistent. If I remember correctly Jeremy Lin got some big money after his good season and now I’m not even sure where he is. I. Get that team owners want to be able to say that they gambled and got the next big thing but a lot of the time, more often than not probably, it doesn’t work out

I think one of the big reasons why Lin didn’t succeed was that he was always the only good player on his team in high school and college. He was always the go to scorer and had the ball most of the time. Because of this, he was very uncomfortable in the NBA when he was playing off-ball. Most star players adjust to playing with other great players in college, but unfortunately for Lin, he didn’t get a single D1 scholarship offer despite being one of the best high school players in the country. And sadly, he was overlooked partly bc he was Asian. If Jeremy was white or black, I have no doubt he would’ve had a more successful NBA career.

  • @lakersyoungcoreareaveragep1639

If they didn’t happen he would’ve averaged that many for the whole season, but when he was bouncing to different teams he wasn’t trusted to be the 1st option until he finally got to Brooklyn, but got hurt after the first 4 games of the season averaging 25. It’s either injury, not being given a chance, or the arrogance of other teammates(basically what happened at the knicks) that kept Lin from producing at his maximum level
