Devin's Mom on How Trauma Led Her to Jesus, Being a Godly Example, and Listening for God's Voice

- We have a very special guest this week: Katie Bell Hart, Devin's Mom! She speaks about how a traumatic event in her life turned her to Jesus, the importance of building your foundation by reading God's Word, listening to God's voice, and many other topics. She also gives her side of the Angel Story that Devin shared back in the second episode!
Your mom is beautiful. She gave up the darkness in her soul for her kids, and God communicates with her when there's something she can do for others. And she listens and follows through. I really think a good relationship with Christ is another form of generational wealth, probably the most important.
Went to her cafe a few weeks ago when I was in Dothan. She is the sweetest women! She came and chatted with us and everyone else who was there that morning🥺🥺🥺
My Granny's favorite verse was John 3:16. She was such a faithful believer and she passed away on March 16th (03/16) and it brought us such comfort knowing God was walking with us through such a difficult time and reminding us Jesus us coming back and we will see Granny again.

I love your angel story! That is so awesome! I also love what you said about obedience and doing our part. No matter what God calls us to do, we need to trust that He will equip us to do it, and the outcome is in His hands, not ours. My twin sister also saw angels and I think we were actually 9, too! It was at night. I was asleep next to her and she saw the devil appear in our room, just a dark evil presence. She was so afraid she couldn't scream. Right after he appeared though, two angels appeared and the evil presence left and my sister felt a peace come over her. I am so thankful for God’s protection over us! 🙌❤️
I'm sitting here watching all of your pods back to back for the first time and I am feeling forever changed.... I can't tell you how much of an inspiration your family is and it is so reassuring to listen to y'all. Thank you ❤

I really appreciate your entire podcast being around our life with our Lord and Savior. It's really hard to find content that keeps you focused. Its something I am really struggling with. I wish I had you daily. You keep it simple, don't judge others sin and walk with the Lord. God=Unconditional Love. I literally wait for your podcast. Keep pushing girl, you're doing amazing things.

Your momma is a sweet sweet woman! I cried listening to her journey. I'm an older just finding Jesus person who has lived a life full of regrets, bad decisions and VERY wild ways. I hurt ALOT of people in my life including my children. Just this year I decided I needed a change and started looking toward GOD and I am now on a journey that is difficult but is also so beautiful. I LOVE your podcast and love that you love Jesus and are so kind and gracious towards people. Thank you!

I love your mom's testimony
I watch this last night and was truly blessed. I haven’t had quite time in a long time and when y’all were talking about a foundation it spoke to me. I woke up this morning and was doing quite time and a devotional and it was about creating a foundation in your marriage and in your family.

I loved this interview. I'm also 52, and I look at things exactly like your momma. When I see hurting people or mean people, I automatically think of them as a child. At some point, they were traumatized in their life. Something happened to then that made them that way, and you are right, the ability to look at things from that perspective is a gift from the Lord. We run a transition house in our church for men who are recovering from various addictions. 😢 when I look at them thats what I see. Thank you for this interview, it was great! ❤
