- This week on the Salty Podcast, Devin talks with Hunter about a lot of deep, personal topics such as Hunter's transformation since Ivey was born, goals and dreams, finding purpose and contentment with where you are in life, and seeking God's will for big decisions.
Hunter-- please do a podcast for young men and young dads on how to treat a wife, mother, daughter. Something clean and for Christian young men to encourage them to do right.

You guys are such an amazing example to the younger audience not only in your walk with God but as husband and wife. The world we live in today has completely been desensitized to what marriage truly is and what is right and wrong (if that makes sense).The way that you guys speak life into each other is so beautiful. I really pray that your podcast grows so that it is able to reach more of the younger audience so that they can see how a young married couple can be strong together and grow together especially while walking with God.
Let’s all agree now. God forbid Hunter has to take over the social media business due to something bad happening. We will continue to follow him. Love these podcasts and your other videos!
You guys this has been my favorite episode. So much gratitude and glory to God. Y’all are really using y’all’s platform to talk about the word, and the Lord. Thank you guys, especially Hunter for being on the internet… even when you didn’t like to be “known”. Devin you preach more than you know, in the best way possible. Devin just has a way with words to help us humans understand. I could listen to yall for hours 😭😭😭 Thank yall for always reminding me to be in the word, and praying more. ❤️❤️❤️ I hope the Lord continues to bless yall and protect you guys!
I feel like purpose and being the head of the household, in the sense of being the main provider, is a big thing for men. My husband has struggled with his purpose since he was a child. Sometimes he thinks it was just to have our 3 boys, but I tell him it is more than that, even though children are our greatest blessing and biggest responsibility. I think that is so awesome for Hunter to learn to be comfortable in a supportive role, in the season he is currently in. Learning to be content in all things is such a key part in finding joy, accepting the gift of joy, no matter what circumstance you are in. ❤

Such a great episode! This is my second time watching your pod, the first being the episode you guys did with Kirk Cameron. But I’m glad I decided to watch this episode next, because I’m also in a waiting season job or career wise. This episode had great questions to each other, wisdom, honesty, and sharing some times in your life when you guys have leaned on God and asked Him for guidance, peace and contentment. :) Glad to be a subscriber and excited to watch more episodes :)

In my season of waiting to conceive if it be God’s will for me. There is definitely purpose in the waiting because I may never have grown closer to Him if I would’ve gotten pregnant when we first started trying. God bless you Devin and Hunter🤍
I’m re-listening to this as I fall asleep, and I’m remembering that some of my other fave content creators Chloe and Addison Bounds, the dad he also felt the same as Hunter . Nd u could even tell in their tik tok vids that the baby always wants the mom. Like ALL the time. And he shared a little on it. I guess it’s a phase all parents go through when kids are that age. So sad lol😂those phases come and go though

Through it all, I’m glad y’all said yes and were obedient with doing the podcast! This episode was 🤯thank you for listening to the Holy Spirit, because this was just too relatable . There’s always some sort of rattling and transition before you step into what God is calling you to do next, it gets cray cray but there’s something on the other side whether it’s a blessing, peace etc . Some things look crazy but then God is like here’s what I had on the other side of that storm🎁. And like you’re saying it’s not always gifts or MONEY🤣lol.
Man it’s def weird hearing Hunter say those things(the transparency is great) because he is a great father/ husband etc. but also I’m the same exact way, you can tell me how well I’m doing at something until Jesus comes back, and sometimes I won’t believe it for myself.
Sometimes the similarities I hear with Hunter and I make me feel normal😂.

Hunter... honestly i agree with you. Although it is cringe to say being in a supportive role...that is a temporary thing. You will always be supportive because of your love is so pure for your wife. I see something about you that i pray comes to fruition one day. If social media is your way to make money in the future for you solely...then i want you to know your Instagram videos of you working on your truck and dirt bikes can grow. You seem so destined by God.
being lazy and prioritizing rest are two different things. teaching your babies to take rest when they need and deserve it is also important.
My husband and Hunter are so alike in hating the cliche sayings. As Christians, we believe there's purpose in the waiting & there's a reason for everything, but my husband literally had to tell his mom to STOP telling him there's a reason for everything. When he's frustrated over a car accident he just got into, being told "there's a reason for everything" is just not helpful, even if it's true! lol
