Man, the details you did on your engine bay are sweet! Only thing I don't like about your car is the Cooper S badge on the front. Great job man! This video really makes me want to get my build off the ground!
Alot of people complain about numbers in such a little car smh this thing will run laps just by that number alone , coming from a VW and Mini guy myself ...
I would love to have a Mini again, It was my first car when i was 17, And also the first car i modified Unfortunately I got carried away one night, and ran through the window of a Sexy Underwear shop In Hull, The car got me home but was beyond repair .But thirty years on and still messing with cars.
It's a FWD swap from MiniTec and for those wondering why the power is so low, it's due to a very tight engine by, after cramming a b18 into a Mini there is no possible way without cutting to route the intake to get colder air so its sucking in hot air the whole time. But yes, A car of this weight is pretty quick with the power it puts out.
I love my 2007 JCW but I really want one of these to play with. I have no Idea where to even get started in like research or what exact model I want. Yours is gorgeous.
I can, I could change the intake so I could get cooler air and advance timing and probly male over 170hp but it runs nicely and it's being used as a daily so I'm happy with it.
@CrazzySandman It has high comp pistons, s300 and cams and all the internal goodies, 170hp stock rating is not at the wheels for this engine from the factory. Most people just assume they have 200hp in these mini's cause they don't actually take them and get them tuned.
@mattewing1 yeah i know what you mean, but if your already high comp, and tuned, you should at least be hitting about 170 whp at the very least, but i bet this thing still with what you maid regardless, the power to rate ratio. I still think you can squeeze more with your set up.
An Integra weight less than 2300 lbs and not gutted? What year? Your B20 also has .2 liter more of displacement than a B18, that is the reason you have more torque. You can tell this Mini is tuned more for high end HP, not for low end torque meaning different i/h/e configurations.
my integra weighs less than a ton(2300) and its not gutted. yes i know what 130torque fels like in a light car. my car is fast cosidering...lol..oh and i think 2300 is less than a ton or is a ton like 2000.but the point of my comment was if a b18vtec is only making 123torque something is wrong with that picture...they should have 135 torq stock. my b20 makes 125torq STOCK. AND I GOT BOLTS ONS SO PROLLY MORE. sry caps
You can get way more power out of that b18c you did something wrong because they are rated at 170 hp stock, you should go with high compression, cams, valve train, and hondata s300 and a bad ass tune, try to break 200 who and this mini will fly

A bit surprised at how low your numbers are on a fully built B. Either your dyno was off, or you need a retune.
swap is so clean, it looks like u didnt do a swap
It's the MTB2 subframe from superfastminis
Also the car was never seen again after it was stolen. Sad sad, it was one of a kind.
nevermind, just realized this was just uploaded yesterday haha
Not sure, I don't really drive the car great distances. But I do know that it isn't getting nearly what it would if it was stock.
japanese b18c1 are 180hp usa versions are 170

is that using the Integra GSR engine? your 163HP is that at the wheels? if i remember the GSR makes 170hp at the crank.
by the time is gets to the wheels its only making 163................
i saw.... i has no money right now!!!!
This mini looks familiar did it get sold to someone in N.Y.?

Have you ever driven anything the weight of a Mini with 123 ft lbs of torque? Idiot!! Props on the car man, looking to do a similar build!
Is it normal that I jizzed when I saw this car
b18c1's made 170hp stock....
It's rear wheel drive?
dont need torque to smoke you son, just giving you a heads up..
Have the link to the sale?
no rollcage!?!
Did you ever get the car back?
163hp and no rollcage?!
what kind of mileage are you getting?
The Mini is in New York now and has been STOLEN. If you or anyone has any info on where it is please let me know. Thanks.
All that work and just 163 whp. Why bother
163hp on a built gsr? that doesnt sound right... It should have made at least 180 to the wheels with a tune..
Maybe thats wheel hp!!
123 lbs of torque? wow that is sad my nonvtec b20 makes more torque than that.
