Silja Sol, the lady back vocal, I miss her so much with Aurora, they complement each other so well. the way Silja seem to be ''connected'' with Aurora is incredible, the harmonie they creat is always perfect!.

One of my lifelong favorite songs. She took the song, that was already divine, and brought it into the next dimension. She manages to do that with every cover she does. This one was super special, imo. Btw, the lyric "I am gonna save my world" was not in the original. That refrain is hers.

It was a great reaction to an Aurora performance. It always is.
I don't know how seriously she takes music. I mean, yes, she's a pro, she was at the beginning, I think.
And of course she takes it seriously, hence the result, and her respect for her fans.
But I have the feeling that she allows herself to be playful, even with the music. She's not afraid to play with it. And, well, I'm not sure I have the right words, myself.
In any case, she's a free spirit. And you can feel that in her music, if only you open yourself up a tiny bit.
Now, just for the information, imagine: there's even a slightly better version of this cover that she does. I mean, that I prefer. It's the "verftet" version.
As if the magic was even stronger. I don't know exactly why.
Maybe the harmonizations are more amazing... or... whatever.

John Lennon felt this song was not recorded to his liking considering it was one of his favorites. I think he would have loved this. That ending counter-melody is stunning.
She was asked about doing covers in a June 2018 Norwegian interview, here is a translation:
- You've also done some cover songs. Is it very different from singing your own things?
Yes, it is very different.
- In what way?
The fact that it is not your own child. It's like being a babysitter for someone else's child. And if you... if you have a little relationship with the child from before, then it's very easy, I think, to in a way be fond of them and take good care of them. And then it's really like, just like with all children and with all music, then it's in a way easy to like most of it. But it just feels a little more like, that I have to wake up a song again.
Because that's what's really nice about doing cover versions of music, especially if it was some time ago the original version was released. And then I think about my own listeners and how young many of them are. And then I think like, that I want this song not to die out, with exactly these people I have with me. And then it's really nice to, in a way, keep a song alive, by reminding people of what is available.

I absolutely agree Silia and Aurora were a perfect match, I'm really sorry that Silia is so behind Aurora, her voice and singing is equal to Aurora's. It's a pity that they are no longer together

Imo this is much better than the original.
John Lennon said it was probably his best written lyrics, but he wasn’t satisfied with their production of the song. I’m pretty sure he’d love this version though💞

This is the best version of this song, much better than the original or any other cover. Kudos to her band mates for their beautiful harmonies. She calls her songs her children and I think when she does a cover, she treats the song like she is taking care of someone else's child, very tender and loving.
David Bowie versión is very good too!!!
@@antoniocarlin5026 I am sticking with this as my personal favorite, I am spoiled with her singing voice, I would rather listen to her sing anything above all others. Plus, the harmonies are just epic in this cover. I do love David Bowie though. 😍

As awesome as this is, you'd be even more impressed if you were familiar with the original. Even some diehard Beatles fans think this version is better. I think this is one of her better covers. Those harmonies (not in the original) are insane! And that part at the end, where she's singing a different line than the background singers (also not in the original) is so very cool. Even "are you going to save my world?" is an Aurora original line, with a nod to our planet.

I would suggest the best version cover of this BEATLES song is by the supremely talented FIONA APPLE. She did it first and the best.
Imo Aurora’s version is much better, it doesn’t matter who did it first, two totally different covers😊

Beatles version is better. Listen tot he a,bum version, not any of the singles versions. Different temp and key.
