    Greenscreen shouldn't look bad. It's all about good lighting and good chroma key settings.
    In this video I explain how to setup your greenscreen and chroma key setting in OBS so you can find the best settings.
    Getting a clean look for your chroma key is all about camera settings and proper lighting.
    If your chroma key looks wrong and you are using the settings I suggest in this video, then you need to fix your camera settings and your lighting first.

    More green lighting on the green screen with RGB lighting makes sense. Thanks!

      Temporary fix ? eventually you will be confused when it doesn't work after all the ajustments you made. what the real problem is you can't fix or ajust on your own? the Problem could be a multi set of interference from other unknown subjects and finding any clues is reseting the Entire CP. its easy setting up a channel for People more clueless what to do gathering fallowers later becoming so confused leaving the program.

    Great tips for green screening when working in a small room.
    Can you give me any tips for avoiding the reflection of the light/computer screen in my glasses?

    Your chroma key settings immediately made my greenscreen look better! I greatly appreciate it! My only issue now is I look orange and can't quite dial in my camera settings. It may just be my budget webcam. I can get my skin looking good, but that throws off my greenscreen. I feel that's probably due to my lighting, though. Definitely gonna pick up some RGB flood lights and either a ring light or some sort of glow lights that clip on top of my monitor. I imagine that'd fix my skin tone issue? I also got a free camera recently and was gonna see if it worked and if I can use that instead of my budget webcam.

      A new camera would help for sure. For now one thing you can do to help is use a color correction filter after your chroma key filter in OBS. Then use the saturation and tint sliders to try and fix your skin tones.

      @@infinitequality Awesome, thanks! I will be trying that for sure. Grabbed 2 of my wife's makeup mirror ring light things and threw em on top of my KRK rokit 5's to use as key lights and it's crazy how much of a difference that made already. Will now just need to dial in those sliders. Never realized the importance of lighting for the camera. Definitely don't need to spend a ton of money to make it look great. Appreciate your knowledge and help!

    So Sunny, my setting were pretty close and I use a Canon M50 Mk2 Eos. I still have the dancing edges around the back of my chair so I am thinking about either the RGB flood light or the cloth

    • @infinitequality
      @infinitequality  Před rokem

      These smaller issues with a greenscreen become more complex and pronounced with higher detailed cameras. The sharper the image the more they crop up, so you need even better lighting and to tweak the settings even more.
      Fixing the chair with a green cloth would be the most ideal solution.

      @@infinitequality I might have to invest in some lamps. . LOL This is the first time I've ever stepped in front of a green screen. It is so cool! I'm a former storm chaser, and I've met meteorologists and have seen behind the scenes, but I've never stepped in front of one. Do you have a recommendation for a small mouse clicker sorta like what they use on TV?

      @@jamedlock83 there's a lot of options out there, but you may want to try using something like this amzn.to/3wSAd2z - 8Bitdo Zero 2
      Lights are the most important part of your overall image quality and enough lighting will make your camera look better.

    • @infinitequality
      @infinitequality  Před 2 měsíci

      The trick for using lights and not blinding yourself is to use a lot of lights spread out instead of a couple of lights turned way up. Putting a couple of lights in 2 spots means the light is focused and that causes them to hurt your eyes. A lot of smaller lights spread out but turned down means the light is less intense from one spot making it easier on your eyes.

      Are you using a green screen? Have you tried using the color selection option and selecting the color of your screen with the tool?
      Is the chair very close to the screen?

    • @infinitequality
      @infinitequality  Před rokem

      This all has to do with lighting and your camera settings. You want your exposure set high enough that your frame rate looks natural, and your gain low enough that you're not creating lots of noise.
      You need as much light on you as possible so the gain can be low enough to not create noise.

      It's almost as if lighting has a bigger impact than settings. No settings will ever fix bad lighting.
