I think Grasso's victory was not just great work by her and her team (Eventually someone would catch Valentina doing one of her spinning-back kicks.), but a sign that women's flyweight is getting more competitive, especially with Erin Blanchfield and Natalia Silva climbing the ranks.

@@Dehmitz Erin has more gas tank against Santos but definitely not skills but her clinch game is just the weakest skill I see in MMA artists. Look at what happened to Holm for clinching too much.

Her analysis on Valentina vs Grasso was spot on. Valentina has to make improvements everywhere and not just focus on one mistake made. Hope Valentina takes heed because it's truth.

In all fairness, we critics rather say that she probably will have a hard time taking down Manon, or be able to hurt her or anyone of the 125 girls, not necessarily that she will get stopped. Those who have trained with her says that she is not big enough.

I agree; I think Dana and the rest of UFC management are still perturbed with that stinker of a PPV fight. If that happened on a prelim card between two unranked fighters I *might* give them a pass, but still, this is the UFC, not a regional promotion. Rose needs to win with a finish.

The champ shud defend just as hard as the person trying to take it from you period. You don’t get special treatment, she pushed the pace and you lost, plain and simple Miss I’m the best! I definitely find it really odd that some fighters become champ and act like there’s nothing more to fight for or accomplish. You get that spotlight as a headlining champ and the opportunity to take your career to unprecedented heights - why would you not take it by the horns?
