    I was wearing a Bell super Air R spherical when I went down on a Onewheel at 29 mph landing backwards so my forward momentum rotated down and slammed the back of my head hard, I remember the feeling of how hard I hit my head but I didn't have even the slightest headache, the outer shell was cracked in multiple places and then retention system was shifted so it rotated as well. It was caught on video and I've seen similar crashes with different helmets that resulted in severe concussions.
    I can't recommend this spherical technology more 👍🏼

    Looks so clean! The dome testing part is really cool to see.

    I just completed my first ride using my new Aries helmet. I really like it. It sits a little deeper on my head than any other helmet I have worn but it feels good. 😀

    I must say that the new Giro Aires is one pretty looking helmet which got me thinking about new Bell designs. If looking for safety/price point the Giant Rev Comp MIPS really does set the standard.

    I wish helmet reviews had a sunglasses storage check.
    Nearly nobody puts that into the videos but I won’t buy a helmet without good ways of storing my glasses on there. Can you tell me how that works for the Aries?

      I just watched a Ben Delany review from 8 mos ago (I think) and he demonstrated it does have glasses parking slots!

    This is the first helmet I ever try that doesn't fit me in a size medium. I put on a large and my head looked mega HUGE. For that reason I passed on this helmet and I really wanted it. I wonder why they made the medium so small. At least in my case that's how it felt.

    Button smashed! Biggest news for me - didn't know Giro are Americans 🙈 Great to see design lab from inside!

    Does it come in a size XL / XXL / 7 7/8 - 8 Hat size ( 24 3/4 - 25" ) ?

    • @joshdennis4512
      @joshdennis4512 Před rokem

      It does not come in an XL, but a Large might just work for you. The large fits 59-63 cm head circumferences, or up to 24.8"

    • @carlbegnaud4851

      That's too small , it won't work , do you know of any other helmet manufacturers that make larger helmet sizes ?
