Ordered that once I finished watching the video. Thanks for the tips and tricks. Going to get a side business going with tint in hopes I can walk away from my current job
So i been watching a bunch of your video and trying to tint my car but everytime I get to the 2nd peeling the bottom and I put it in both corner. When I squeegee it just crease from the bottom and it is ruin. I'm a beginner and working in a garage in 100 plus degree weather. I feel like the water is drying to fast in my opinion. It is possible to tint in that weather or am I doing something wrong. Film I'm using is motoshield ceramic nano. Any help is greatly appreciated.
What’s a good starter tint that isn’t so thin it just crumples up? Been trying to practice on Walmart tint (I ruin a lot) but I need something just slightly thicker.
Matt, I've been following you for a while, I love your videos, I learn a lot from you. I would like to know if you make international shipments of your products? I'm from chile.
You don’t need to. But a plastic knife with a carbon blade does cut easier. The stainless can snag sometimes. I’ve been cutting top edges for years with a metal knife and stainless blade but I prefer the plastic and carbon blade now.
For sure, you could definitely use scissors instead of the snitty cutter. I liked the snitty better but there are definitely corner advantages with scissors like you mentioned
@@DetroitTintStudio in the early 2000’s before everybody used plotters there was a Lexus that the front door window by the mirror was 2” or less so I learned the marker trick at least 20yrs ago 💰
I'm glad you're trying new methods it's very good to try different ways and then pick the style that you like....

Great vid. Can you double cut with this method as well?
The way you hang your camera now is superb. Are you able to do a video for hand cut window tint on windows with windshield ?
Thank you I’ve had such a hard time cutting
Best video mate.. So, Is there a waiting time or days before you can roll down the window again ?

Hello, what is the thing your using for the door panel cover? It looks so easy to roll out, cut, and open up!
Ong I need to know
Nice work! Can you do a video on doing a back window with a sharpie? Is that even possible?
Hey man, When you said your top edge knife, does that imply that you should be using a dedicated knife just for cutting the top edge?

Wow this is great !
You’re a psycho for letting that truck ding like that
the GOAT just changed the GAME again had to get one for myself to try it out lol
You could also round the edges with kitchen scissors? And the sides sharpie and scissors? 😄

I'm gonna to buy one...
How much did you charge for the job?
$270 for the front doors and full windshield. This was done in Pro Classic. If it was C2 Carbon I’d charge $360. Pronano ceramic would be $450
@DetroitTintStudio I'm new to this full windshield means, front and back windshield!??
@@DetroitTintStudio What would your prices be for just the full windshield? Thanks
Nice should have sharpie that telluride the other day easy peasy.

@@DetroitTintStudio you laughed at that style cutter in your 2021 amazon tint tools video lol. they did look pretty shoddy
This is a very old trick if your a 30yr seasoned vet 🔥🏆💰
Wish I knew about this years ago!
@@DetroitTintStudio the little tool you used is new but the marker trick is ancient history 👍
