Come along with us as we set off on a Far East Cruise on Marella Discovery 2 cruise ship. We take you through some check in procedures, give a handy hint on travel pillows for a long haul flight. We visit Wetherspoons for a coffee, show how to avoid paying over the odds for water at the airport. Join us on the plane as we let you know what it is like on a 12 hour flight. Once at Singapore we will tell you what happens to your luggage and how you get to the ship. We show you where the ship is docked before taking a short but well needed nap. After a snooze join us for our first cocktail of the holiday and dinner at Restaurant 47. What was it like? You may be surprised. Come along on our first vlog of our Marella Discovery 2 series to find out.

It's one of Lisa's worries that her case will go missing with her clothes in. It hasn't happened yet, but until they arrive outside the room, she can't relax! 😂
We did the Asian cruise in 2020, but we landed in Thailand and had to go through the airport , and on the way back the quickest check-in to boarding because of covid19 starting , me and my parents also done Caribbean cruises with Marella, never had a problem

I love getting the chocolate on the pillow, first cruise we did , for the first few weeks we carried on putting a chocolate on the pillow

I passed by this ship in Singapore yesterday, 22.02 Harbor Front - looked pretty ok considering the age of her.

No to an inside i like my balcony ❤
Depending on the cruise and the price, I could be persuaded. We did have a balcony once as it was the same price as an inside. We used it to read on sea days, and whilst it was lovely, it wasn't essential for us. But you stick to your balconies after all, it's your holiday! Happy travelling, and thanks for watching 👍

Great video! We're trying Marella for the first time in March, flying from Birmingham to Singapore so I'm pleased to have found your channel. Looking forward to the rest in the series. We usually cruise with Cunard and have been on some smaller cruise ships, Seabourn, Oceania and Ponant but I'm keen to give Marella a try as it seems good value for money.
We have been to some fabulous places with Marella at excellent value. There are some compromises with food quality and cabin size, but for us the ship is pretty much just transport and not a destination in itself. Thanks for grafting your way through our videos. It is much appreciated 😁👍

Tested a draft excluder in dunelm yesterday , definitely more comfortable than my expensive neck cussion

None required, however your dip, tet should be up to date and I think some people had typhoid jabs.
