    OOOH, shizzle it first. Thank you. I was trying to mend weak spots using Jason’s straight hairs. Just did two spots & YES, so much better.

    Thank you! I treid it from when we had a one on one together. It works real good. Just have to be patient when you are a perfectionist ... yeah... patience is da key.

    Could you do the same method say if you would like to create a ombre dread by adding different colored hair to the entire tips or whatever length you'd want the color change to your existing dreads? Thank you :-)

    I have one dread that is all my sons hair :) I split a dread and it didn’t go well, and I had just given him his first hair cut..... he was a mop head so there was plenty...... and now I have a part of him with me at all times :) lol

      I have my girls in mine too! And some of my childhood hair! (My mom saved my braid from my first haircut!) I really don’t think it’s weird at all!! Love that you have him with you! ❤️

    There was one time I was shopping at Target and a person came up to me and said "excuse me, I think you dropped this" and it was a dread. I was so embarrassed 🤣🙈

    I can't tell you how many times I have casually bent over to pick a dread up off the ground.. it's hard to be cool about it. and non dread people just don't understand!!

    How do you get your dreads thicker towards your scalp? I’m having the problem where my dreads are super skinny then get thick. Maintenance isn’t getting them as thick as when I started. Should I add some hair to the base of my head, in my dreads?

    • @LizaLocs
      @LizaLocs  Před 4 lety +1

      Make sure if you’re doing maintenance that you’re not over doing it or over working it. Too much and not done correctly can cause damage. Try to root rub, palm roll and add in the free hair that belongs back in that section. The stronger you can make it the better. I’ve had to also combine a couple locs due to how tiny the base was. Yes you can add more hair at the base but try to figure out what’s causing this to happen to avoid it completely in the future... perhaps too much styling? Not enough rubbing? Over working?

    Can I do this at the root?

    • @Erykkahhh
      @Erykkahhh Před 3 lety

      Yes yes yes can someone please tell me if you can do this at the root ! My fiancé got his neck / undercut shaved and they took it a little high up amd caught some of his dread can I fix his root like this ? Maybe with his beard hairs so it’s super strong 😂😂 please answer thank you !

    • @brucepower3429
      @brucepower3429 Před 2 lety

      If your root is thinning out it can't because your root is the base it needs to be strong and thick enough from the root down to add a couple of inches of hair.
