Hi Sharon. I've been traveling quite a bit over the past few weeks for lots of fun family events---wedding, two graduations. So, finally being back home, I was able to catch up on your videos. So much beautiful stitching! I've never done a Teresa Kogut stitch before but after seeing your gorgeous stitch, I may have to change that! I also love your patriotic pillows. I hope that you are able to complete your Mom's Jamestown project and be able to join the society. I'm sure that she would be so proud and happy that you continued her work! Happy Stitching! I now always initial and date my projects. My very first piece that I ever stitched I entered into our county fair...this was in 1989ish. I got dinged and marked down a whole ribbon ranking for not adding that information to my stitching. The judge had a note on my piece to me It would have been considered for a champion if I had added that but I ended up with a Red ribbon. I think of that every time I hear that people don't want there name on there work or to change what the designer charted.

Your stitching looks amazing. Do you do a full cross stitch for each square or do you do continental stitch. Every stitch looks perfect.
Hi there Donna! I actually do a full cross stitch for each square. I do use a lighted magnifier to stitch so it makes it a lot easier to have all of the stitches look consistent. I also think because things are so easy to see it may also make me a bit quicker when I stitch but I’m not really sure about that 😊 I hope you’ve found some great stitchy time this week and have a great weekend!

You should go and watch Heidi The potty mouth stitcher she is doing the Rosewood Manor piece Inspection. It is beautiful. Love the vine border. I have done two Rosewood Manor pieces.

Thank you for your very kind comment 😊 I am enjoying every small bit of progress as each motif gets done. It’s the first Teresa Kogut design that I have ever stitched and I am really loving it. It took a re-start or two on this piece for me to really get going. You and I both will get this piece finished and it will look lovely hanging on our walls! I had never heard of that chart so I searched for it. Didn’t find that exact one but did find several other NeverEnding Stories kits by that same artist and they are absolutely amazing. I admire you and anyone else who can do a full coverage stitch! Have fun!
