Hello everybody!
Recently the album [Remastered Soundtrack] Mystic Square made by Paradise of Boundaries was released.
I participated and contributed several tracks so I will upload them little by little to the channel.
[Mystic Dream]
It's funny how this arrangement ended up sounding kind of regular. It's not the typical track you'd hear as Staff roll and I think I could have fixed that, maybe....
In any case, I gave more importance to the mix as I have a lot of respect to the mix used in TH15 which I think is one of the best of the whole saga.
Still, the theme provides a tranquility which is not so bad as a final theme, I guess.
Well, this is the last arrangement I did for the album.
Sorry for taking so long to upload all the arrangements to the channel. Lately I don't feel like editing videos or playing FL Studio.
I guess it's just a passing thing so I hope it's not a problem.

Good arrangement. LoLK really brings a strong sense of space travel. I like that, and I also like how it has a retro feel, which makes a lot of sense: the space theme matches old spaceship games, the origin of shooter games.
Do you praise LoLK 's mixing for what exactly? You say that because many instruments manage to be prominent, and has very present atmosphere? I think that's one of the initial conclusions I come to when I think about LoLK.

ZUN experimented a lot with the instruments used in LoLK, each instrument fits quite well as each one is edited in very original ways without losing quality. I have personally tried to try to replicate the edit of several instruments in my spare time and the ones used in LoLK are the most difficult so far as on several occasions I have not even been able to get close to the edit.
ZUN managed to keep a balance between all the instruments and the mix is not awkward at all.
I've listened to the ost of other releases and there are always some themes that don't convince me because of the mix, maybe because of a little bass, screeching or loud or saturated melodic instruments, etc.
I feel that LoLK has none of those negative points and managed to adapt quite well to the theme present in the story.
To be honest, I find all of LoLK's tracks excellent, I wouldn't be able to point out any negative point regarding the mix...
