Our friends Greg and Mitch from @AsapSCIENCE recently got a work/live loft space and asked for our help to make it feel more inviting and lived in. We quickly got to work on planning this huge makeover and are seriously obsessed with how it turned out.

I NEVER gave proper credit/kudos to cinematography or editors, I just watch something for the content. BUT when I see others comments on those elements, I start to pay more attention to those elements and I’m developing an appreciation for them.
I think this was hands down one of their best makeovers. I love how they incorporate themes like wildlife without making it overbearing-like I think even if that wasn’t your vibe, you’d still want to chill in this space. And those chairs!!! I see exactly why Fefe snatched one. They are to die for!
I died laughing at Fefe taking the chair with her. This was so much fun and the space turned out incredible!!

"You've never seen a carpet on a wall before!" Immediately thinks of medieval tapestry which exclusively covered walls in carpets haha! Great job - missed these makeovers.

In my house, we have quilts and tapestry blankets hanging on the walls. It’s really a great way to reduce echo and add insulation to poorly insulated walls.
I’ve seen my same rug from home put on walls at a hookah lounge lol

can we talk about our gal's dedication to sourcing the most incredible vintage pieces though!? like, that coffee table, those STOOLS. makes the space look so unique! great job gals, what a transformation!
I totally agree about the vintage finds.. I really commend these ladies on their dedication to detail. I work in the theater and I'm very used to props and set pieces that to the outsider, may not be significant but a whole lot of thought goes into putting everything just in its right place. I feel that these ladies have that same ethic.. They have a whimsical But intentional purpose when they are sourcing . Can you imagine these guys Finding all of the phenomenal Pieces that these ladies so diligently sourced and placed?? It will feel like the guys fell into a treasure chest.. I keep saying it chefs kiss👨🍳💋

the whole time, I wondered if the rug had a thorough cleaning before it went on the wall 😂 love having allergies hahaha. But the space looked SO GOOD. I loved the duck theme.

My Scandinavian grandmother had a rug up as art in her living room my entire life. It’s a really lux white woven wool, so gorgeous. This one really looks so much larger on the wall than on the floor!
This has officially become my favorite makeover from you guys. It is so well done, and looks really well balanced. And the room, from the table and couches really transformed it, not just the pain.
Love how this makeover shows how much TSG has grown, not just in style and skills, but also in the size and quantity of projects you can tackle as a team 💕💪🏻💪🏻

Putting rugs on walls is a really big thing in most Slavic homes. We use one currently as a “headboard” because it’s soft to sit up against and it’s a fun design on the wall.

Canadian Icon
As someone who grew up with many tapestries, the easiest way to hang them is to mount the top (and bottom if the fabric needs it) side onto a wood stick (like a small wooden bar, I'm not sure how to call it). Because then, you only need to attach the wood, to the wall and the tapestry can remain a little wavy (or use a bottom bar if you want the weight to straighten it or to attach it). I love tapestries !
There could never be “too many sorry girl uploads”. It just doesn’t exist. ❤️

Love the makeover ladies!!! Happy International Womens Day! Just a tip, bc I literally have a rug hanging in my dining room as art, maybe next time make a frame and staple the rug to it. This helps make sure it stays taut when ur hanging it, and also prevents it from folding while youre hanging it, which makes it 100000x easier to hang lol :) end result looks great tho esp bc its flush to the wall
