(Uncensored) Dramatic dismasting hits Alinghi Red Bull Racing during practice session

Alinghi Red Bull Racing, the Swiss challenger for the America's Cup, suffered a dramatic mast break on Thursday afternoon during a four-hour practice session in 20-knot winds and crashed into the water. This is the first time an AC75 mast has broken in both the current and previous America's Cup cycle.
The incident occurred when the Swiss team turned the boat downwind, which is known as the 'Death Zone' moment, where AC75s accelerate when sailing downwind. The wind conditions were below 23.5 knots, which is the maximum limit to start a race, and the wave height was less than 0.8 metres.

I remember the name Alinghi from the 2000s, when my Mum was really into these Races. What an Evolution.
Must have been brutal to lose the Mast at these Speeds and Forces.
