- I did it!! First round done! A lot pain masking Sinbad went into this xD Some are quiet choppy, but I tried :P
Side notes:
-If you're confused about the Lillie, Zac, and Alex relationship, that's okay :) We will explain everything as the story goes on :)
-With Zac giving Catherine the bracelet, he's remembering back to the first time he can pin point when her abuse started.
-In my head, it's early on in their relationship, like their first or second month anniversary.

Alrighty here are the judge notes at last! Here we go!:
JUDGE NOTES:
-Great pacing and atmosphere throughout the video!
-Your dialogue writing is on point! You reveal information very organically and you can tell each character has their own personality! Not only that but the emotional manipulation from Catherine is so real and so chilling! That whole scene and Zac’s very sad but real way of convincing himself that Catherine’s words are true is our favorite part of the round!
-AMAZING job with the clothes changes on Lillie and Alex!
-Music is perfect and on queue all the time!
-Our major complaint is that there is an abuse of one character per shot throughout the majority of the round. Or, to phrase it differently, the composition skills could likely be improved on. There were a lot of medium and close ups used throughout the round. We would’ve liked to see different angles, like from the sky, or the ground, or more faraway shots. More profile shots as well! A profile shot with Alex and Zac, for example, would’ve helped better convey the tension and conflict between them.
PERSONAL NOTES:
-Great transition shots throughout the round! Personal faves are at 5:23-5:25 and showing it slowly become night time during Lillie and Zac’s conversation
-Love the use of the TLM TV series as a way to add variety to Lillie’s expressions!
-Wonderful job with the color corrections! All the characters look super ingrained into their environment!
-3:01, 3:14, 3:42, 4:27, 6:31, 6:34, and 6:35 are all FANTASTIC manips!
-One last critique: 3:53 is bit awkward. Besides the fact that the hand’s placement doesn’t match proper anatomy, it takes away from what we should be focusing on. Perhaps an alternative would’ve been to zoom in on the bracelet and blur out Zac with the background
Overall, it’s still a fantastic entry! Your writing is honestly amazing and blew us away! It’s very hard to make abuse original and interesting to get invested in, but you did it in the best way possible, PLUS you gave it a chilling realistic touch that helped enriched it all the more. While your editing needs some polishing in a few areas, it’s still amazing and breathtaking to look at! Excellent job and we wish you luck!
