Thank you for checking out today's video where I use an unmodified electronic pumpkin carver and pick open one of American's most common front door locks! This is not what this tool was intended for but it is interesting to see it worked! You can greatly improve this tool by modifying it into more of a bogota style rake (which is not covered but you can find info on it with a simple search). I do not think this is a great method, I also don't feel you will have a ton of success but for a $9.99 tool it is worth a try! Just please be careful, this is for educational purposes only. Use this tool at your own risk!

This is almost like an automatic wave rake. I’d imagine replacing the saw blade with an actual wave rake would make for an awesome tool
Other channels have done something similar like that. I may give it a go at some point but I just found it fun that it works (but not well) out of box lol
Thinking outside the box, awesome demonstration.
Thank you for checking it out! I am happy to have made a new video :)
Sweet! If I can pick up one cheap, I'll re-profile that sawblade with my Dremel.
Thanks for the idea!
This can definitely be done. Mine was $9.99 at Target. You can certainly see some videos from other channels that have done exactly what you were mentioning
Found your channel while searching for tensioning techniques for left handed people. You've earned a subscriber. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the sub!
I just picked my first lock using a nail clipper for tension and and made a makeshift tool for pressing the pins out of a safety pin... safe to say I will have a realistic chance of escaping if I ever get locked unlawfully somewhere, that really eases me
I meant safety needle turned into a makeshift dietrich

Well, you SAW right through the security of that Quicksey Master Lock. 🤣
I bet those key pins are a little damaged now 😉
Lol, nice one. But truthfully the key still worked fine. But it definitely aged them much faster
I agree with Rook, always thinking outside the box... Just like the Noob...
Keep up the good work Bro...
The best to you and your family Bro...
Peace my friend!!!
Thank you for the kind words and I hope all is well with you
whoa! nice work man!
✅️
Thank God, that we do not have such locks here in Europe 😉
To an extent it is nice knowing a lock can be picked from a servicing standpoint and other measures of security are more important like cameras, alarm system, dogs, physically secure deadbolts etc but it is funny how it is over here
😅👏👏👏 well done 👍🐈⬛😅🐈🐾
Thanks Chris!
What's the bitting on the working key look like?!?
If you would like to see it watch my previous video. But it is 5-3-4-4-2

Why do all these channels do this in a control environment not show it in real life? How fake are these videos?
Do real lockpickers tell customers "we have to remove the lock or door, take it back to our garage then pick it then come reinstall"
I agree with you completely that there is a big difference from field picking and picking in a controlled environment. I personally think someone who has mastered picking locks in the field to be a very good skill set to have. There is a difference from picking a extremely difficult lock once on camera at home (on the 100th attempt) vs being able to replicate that in the field.
A few reasons why I don't do it on camera is picking locks in use is frowned upon for several reasons and it is simply inconvenient to film and set up
Locksporters are not Locksmiths
@@HelpfulLockPicker lovely restrained answer to someone who does not understand locksport.
