I remember this game and how much I loved it when I was a kid ❣ I would go through each level collecting the keys and opening the doors first and then I would go back and collect any of the treasures that I didn't get, I spent hours on this, including ghost house, lord of the sword, fantasy zone and r-type, thank you for bringing back a cherished memory for me 😊

The sound when he opens a door sounds awfully familiar.

Each door you open kills super Mario Bros 1 on NES.

Wow, can’t believe how much I remember from this. Played it a lot. I think it was the first video game I ever rented.

Love this game so much. Really wish they would port to switch.

They did but it’s a slightly different version.

There's a rope glitch you can do at the very beginning of the game. There's a sly way of grabbing the rope at the story screen, which will allow you to climb up (on an invisible rope) to the top of the screen. Doing so will warp you to the next stage.

    No ending?

This is a great version of the game, perhaps the very best, it is to bad more developers did not take full advantage of the Master System's quality's.

No background music in this game?

This is not complete at all! But I also can't blame the player for giving up, even using save states or whatever is going on here.

I was thinking the same.. do you need to beat all 11 levels to see the credits?

I don’t think the game has a true ending; IIRC it’s one of those arcade-style games that you just play for score and to see how many levels you can survive.

@@leroyvisiongames2294 It may not have a real ending but it does have a certain amount of levels that are not fully represented in this video.
