Painting a New Ork Skin for Kitbashed Cheap Beast Snaggas

- (Relatively) short video for some Warhammer 40K Beast Snaggas that I've kitbashed from Age of Sigma Bone Splitterz. Gave me twice the amount of boyz for the price of the official kit AND I tried out a new skin recipe for me, using a (sort of) slapchop method and contrast paints.

Been thinking about getting some of these savage orks to make a unit of Snakebite boyz for years now. This vid has reignited that idea.

Great job as always, I've always been a big fan of this kitbash, even in the several years I haven't had a chance to practice this hobby, I've always had a look online for some feral ork, or feral ork army, I've always appreciated the different interpretations that came from a simple basic kitbash. Now I've decided to start creating something of my own!

I’ve done about 40 like this. Another good option is the Ardboyz kit 15 in a pack. They have heavy armor so I leaned into the vehicle hunting aspect of beast snaggas on those mobs. I also found that the new kommmandos kit and the beast snagga boys kit is fairly interchangeable so I’ve made some beast snagga kommandos to go with my army. These look awesome as always thanks for sharing I know a lot more than just building and painting goes into making these videos and I appreciate the effort. Cheers!
Yeah, the snaggas and kommandos are pretty easy to interchange with each other and the old boyz kit (though not as easy as the old boyz kit in itself). The new boyz kit? Not so much 🤣
I got some of the ardboyz in the start collecting box (only 10 though), just finished them and they came out pretty nice 👍

So I've seen someone recently (sorry don't remember who) do a tan(zandri dust maybe) zenithal over black with a yellow dry-brush as the undercoating for green and it came out looking pretty good.

Yeah, that'd work, I did some with a sand brown base coat and it worked nicely with contrast. Best thing is to try different things 😊

well looking good thare like green turd out good and yes to kit bash got get some and do em up just think of it to do some grechen from WGA thay got 24 snotlins or gobos fore $35 butck got get ome orgers you do em two whays 4ok stiel and fatacy and got bugs to might get some fore fun make raly buggy with jaws and anteeyes see some other time as post
Sounds a good deal for the grots and snots, ogres can make decent orks with a head swap too. Get bashing mate 😊👍
