As a person who filmed 1500+ videos for YT, I think you shouldn't give up on full time YT.
Yes all the things you said were kinda true, but after you find your balance and good workflow, YT becomes easy and you have a looooot of free time.
and me now after about 8 years of filming, editing and doing most of the things myself i still love it man
I still find joy in most of my videos and rarely it feels like a job (I had shitty jobs)
Trust me even my default alarm doesn't sound so bad anymore :D

Man, I started watching you junior years of highschool, and now currently at my final year of senior. Started from your desk setup which inspired me to invest in a laptop and also because of you I took an interest in photography & videography. Time flies so fast. I remember watching Keo around 2020 or 2021 about his first desk setup, his trip to japan and discord call being in japan, second deskset up, and so much more. Watching this video made me happy that you enjoyed college/university. That's what I'm trying to do as well. I hope you do well in your new job! There's nothing wrong with having a normal 9-5 job or side hustle while pursuing your passion projects and hobbies. There's also nothing wrong with landing a dream career. I totally get the comparison you made regarding turning a side hustle/hobby into a full time thing and it then looses the spark and might end up turning into a chore. but I can imagine it throwing off enough money so it’s a nice little financial boost at the end of the month. :)

I appreciate that you have a realistic view on creativity! That cycle of CZcamsrs going hard and then crashing and falling off the map is very true. Creativity doesn't work on a schedule, you can't force it. If you haven't I can very much recommend the book 'The Creative Act - A Way of Being' by Rick Rubin (I know, it's been all over the internet already but it truly is worth it). Good luck with the teaching assistant job!

When I started watching your videos I was in grade 7 with no idea what to do in the future. I'm now in grade 11 taking harder classes than I thought I could ever manage and hoping to teach English abroad in the future. Man, I'm happy to see this little channel grow to 250k.
