This was one of the videos I watched last night for my interview this morning. I got the job two hours later!
erica ً congrats!!!🤩🥳
Q
I am doing same thing and I wish I may get the job
Same, i'm doing research too😅
@@JacquelineHall hi ma'am how about no teaching experience is it same question too . Please share some tips of q and a for no teaching experience coz im applying for the position of nursery/kindergarten.position
I watched this and then interviewed, and got the job! Thank you so much. Also-just a tip-if you are a super new teacher like myself (went alternate route did not student teach) I didn’t have much experience but I still made a pro-folio with a sample lesson plan, teaching philosophy, and certificates. Even if it’s not a lot it still makes you look prepared
Definitely a good idea! Congrats!
I am going the alternative route also and my interview is Tomorrow. Super nervous and watching all videos to help prepare.
I'm in art teacher and made a binder with sample art lessons, edu philosophy, a copy of my resume and a recommendation letter. They usually don't even read the letter but they get really impressed when I show them I have a binder for them to look through.
Watched this before both of my teaching interview and they ended up offering me a job. It’s not that they necessarily asked all the questions you did but you helped me to feel prepared going into the interview.
Thank you! This was very helpful. I too watched this video the night before my interview, a panel of 7 people interviewed and I got the job. 🎉
My first teacher interview was really bad. My second interview was way better and they had told me I had the job. Only to find out about a week later that they had decided to go with someone who had ten years experience. I only have my student teaching as teacher experience. My third interview was thru zoom from a teacher website but it only lasted about 3 minutes or less since they were looking for someone with 2 or 3 years of experience in the classroom. I was disappointed and frustrated but hoping for better things. I have another interview this upcoming Monday. Hopefully all goes well. I have been watching your video for tips!
I feel your pain and frustration. I really hope you get the job that's best for you. Don't lose hope.
Did you get the job?
I did !!!!
I feel what u say I'm in the same point and I felt so depressed but now after thinking about myself and how i'm so good in teaching so I feel hope again and I'm looking for another schools
I hope u got what u want ❤️
Watching this before my interview. I feel really nervous but hopefully all goes well
Good luck!
Thank you for this! You're so positive - loved this video!
You told about questions, but please share your answers as well. It would be really helpful.❤️🙏
Particularly - tell me about yourself, and etc
Agreed. Was looking for the answers
Yes!
OMG you said parish, I finally found a teacher in Louisiana !
You're adorable and super likable. More to the point, this was really helpful and informative and encouraging. Thanks!
I love the professional portfolio idea! I usually just bring my resume and a lesson plan but this is a better idea, thankyou!!
being a teacher, I like your advice for memorizing one's phil and keeping notes open. Good note!
2:57 😂😂😂 I haven’t heard that one before but that’s such a perfect response lol. I will refrain from saying that now lol
My first interview is over zoom on Wednesday!! It’s for a school I love and I’m superrrr nervous lol. Just graduated too ... so not much experience under my belt
You got this! Good luck :) Just be you
Cemerald I got a second (demo lesson) interview and they said it went really well, but they ended up going with another candidate
Cemerald thank you so much ☺️
I've revisited this video several times now. As a secondary teacher, the questions are a bit different, but just barely. You do great at easing the anxiety of a situation where we all know what kind of questions may be asked. :) A good tip I think is to keep in mind lessons that go well because you can pull those into any question if you need to show off. 😉 Thanks again.
That's a great tip! Thanks for watching :)
Even though I don’t graduate until December, I’ve already created a google doc with possible teacher interview questions! Ugh Thinking about it makes me nervous! Thank you for the tips!
Wow you're on top of it lol. I had literally just gotten back from my honeymoon and had to unpack into a new home the week before job fair lol. I didn't have that much time lol! You're going to do great 😊
This was so helpful! I am a career changer and I know how to answer questions from a business perspective. However, this is my first educational interview. I’m excited and nervous all in one. We got this everyone! 😍
I’m a career changer, too. I don’t have all the educational background with specific details on lesson planning and classroom management. I know the basics, and I feel like when you have an idea it won’t always work out the way you want when working with kids
Very helpful! Can you do a video on what is in your binder?
Thank you for being so sincere and helpful! Hope you have a great school year whether in person, online or hybrid.
💖
Thank you!
Okay, honestly, this isn't what I was searching for (looking for tips&tricks) but I had to tell you how pretty you are!!! ♥️ I'm sure your video helped many others! Maybe I'll come full circle and need this video someday 😅
One of the proudest moments of my life was being hired as a teacher. Your video was very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
This is so helpful! I am currently interviewing for my first year of teaching!
Brenda Diaz good luck!!! 🤩 You’ll do great :)
Good luck!!!!
I have two interviews tomorrow, and I am so nervous! I am so glad I watched this. I am a Louisiana girl as well! :)
Good luck to you! 😊
You are so pretty! I have an interview coming up. This video made me feel better. This helped me a lot.
Aw thanks!! Good luck on your interview!❤️
YOU ARE SOOO SOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! THANKS FOR THE TIPS :)
I have my first interview in two weeks and I’m super nervous! This made me feel better knowing I’m not the only one feeling this way and gave me some insight on what I would want to say during it!
You got this!
did you get the job?
Thank you sooo much! I have my second interview tomorrow and these questions really helped me to practice! You’re so beautiful btw!
Good luck!!! & thank you ☺️
Have a phone interview today, glad I watched this video! I don't think they'll ask me all of these questions right off the bat but definitely good to know the typical questions they ask you.
How did it go? What did they ask and did you get the job? I have a phone interview Monday.
@@patricecarr1109 It was a very brief phone interview, she didn't ask me much of these "important" questions. It was all a blur. She asked me to come in to do a working interview, meaning spend time in a class room with the kids and their teacher. I was in a 3 year old class room for about an hour, then after that I got a call back like a week after and she told me that position was filled and if I wanted to try for toddler classroom, and I did and here I am working there for a month already, we did not have a formal sit down interview with all these typical questions, I was expecting that, it was a very brief person to person talk and I mostly just filled out the necessary forms and such. I hope it all works out for you and if you do end up with a in person interview with all the questions you will ace it! Good luck.
Jacqueline can you go over what is in your binder. I am starting my clinical teaching in the fall and want to be prepared as much as possible.
Excellent tips! I appreciate you sharing your story.
Where is your dress from by the way? It’s cute!
Thank you! It's actually a shirt from TJ Maxx
Very accurate! All those questions I heard. (: thank you.
I thought i was listening to an angel, thanks for those tips😊😇
I literally just watched this I believe I’m going to get it thank you
I didn't get a job but I'm trying to be prepared .. ☺
This is so helpful! Thank you so much 😊😊
No problem!
I just found your channel & love it! I’ve graduated with bachelors in psychology & Spanish but looking forward for a program for my teacher certification. I work in managing a team in retail banking. I am really excited to go into teaching in the next few years. For experience aside the student teaching did you work with kids before? Looking to see if I should leave my current role to working with children ASAP.
I worked at a daycare and did missions! I definitely recommend working with children first :)
I hope that I will encounter this questions
Thanks a lot 💖💖💖
Great tips! I hope you had a wonderful first year! Just found your channel. Blessings!
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this video!
No problem! :)
Thank you for this! It was very helpful! I have been to about 5 interviews now & no luck 😪
You got this!
This is an amazing video and helpful!
Thank you! Im glad :)
Thank you very much teach💛
Thanks for the teacher job interview tips. I appreciate it.
Thank you for your video, you are so pretty 😍
Thank you!! 😊
So I totally knew not to talk about my dog but I ended up talking about them anyways🤦🏻♀️. Fortunately the principal then talked about her dogs. And today’s my second interview 🤞🏻
LOL, I love that😊
Have you done a video about getting ready for interviews? (Hair, makeup, outfit? )
You need help dressing yourself? Maybe teaching isn't for you.
Happy Dad I think you may have interpreted their comment wrong 🤦🏻♀️
Love!! Do you have a video or link with the info in your binder? I would love to see it :)
Can you make a video going over your interview binder?
Gracias 😍 I got the job👍
Thank you! God bless. ♡
💗
Would you recommend bringing a planner/binder w notes and answers if your interview is on zoom?
"if you love kids then you should have kids" HAHAHA made me laughed out loud
Thanks for this helpful video! How do you remember what they asked you, I am just curious. Do you write the questions down right away when you are done with the interview? Thanks :)
I had so many interviews! lol
Thanks ❤
Very helpful 😊
so helpful thank you!
Im so glad!
Going to a job fair this evening! How did you carry your belongings? Did you only have the binder? I'm stuck on whether to bring a purse or a bigger bag. Thank you!
I had my teacher tote with me! When I walked in for my interviews I had my binder in my hands though. Best of luck!!❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!!!!!! 💖
Thank you for the tips.
( I just noticed on how you pronounced, "ask/asked", sometimes it sounds like "aks".)
It's a beautiful part of English linguistic diversity~ This is just one of the many flavors of English :)
@@johndawgman Um, no. It's asked.
I just moved to louisiana and have an interview tomorrow
So cute. Thank you
thanks for the help. you're very beautiful btw.
'if you love kids... you should have kids' XD
Thank you!
I'm looking for tips for an after school program leader.. I dont have any experience working with kids but I have an interview on Tuesday. Help me! What should I say?
Literally me right now very nervous but i can’t find any videos about it
Can you please answer what is YOUR teaching philosophy? 💕
this video popped up in my recommendation box for some reason and I don't even know why I clicked on it
Thank you. Most helpful.
Sha Wis no problem!
Great video with tips but please be more detailed with the responses to the questions ❤.
I've never heard of people bringing a binder. What should I include in one?
Your classroom management plan for sure! It obviously doesn't have to be one that you stick to, but it shows that you have a plan.
Outstanding
Very good 👍
Hi, I want to know, what are different positions required in a school other than teaching staff. does middle school needs a technology teacher, if yes, would that require an degree in education as well..? of any experienced IT professionals can be considered. What are various school office jobs that need people. I am so out of your topic here, but I really need this info
You would need a teaching degree of some sort to teach any subject unless you do training on the job to get that qualification. However, there are positions such as an ICR/technology technician where you would only need experience in that sector.
I always have trouble when they ask me to say something about myself.. idk who i am anymore lol so what should i just say?
amazing
Can you share with us your teaching philosophy?
my interview is on monday❤️❤️❤️
Hey! For one of your interviews, did you have to demo a lesson in front of them and students?
No, thank God lol!
I had to watch this at 1.5x since I'm so impatient smh
Woohoo teacher says aks!!! Forgiven for being cute
Apparently it’s very noticeable in this vid 😂 I’ll work on it lol
Where did you get your top?
TJ Maxx!
Love the video but I can’t get past the “axed” 🥴😂
It's a beautiful part of English linguistic diversity~
Ugh me too
Exactly and she's a school teacher as well. 🤷🏻♀️
Axed 🤦🤦🤦
Nice
❤🎉
I have no teaching experience & I have an interview for a preschool teacher position in about a week. I don’t even know how to answer some of these questions lol
How was it?
I will hire you the moment you step into the office
Skip to 2:00
I hear 'ax' though. Probably just my 'ears' :)
Sorrrrrryyy🥴 grew up bilingual, now I don’t know either lol 🪓
@@JacquelineHall It's a beautiful part of English linguistic diversity~ This is just one of the many flavors of English :)
What country is this for
I am from India
I just love when she says “aks instead of Ask”
😬😆
I just love...good English.
I think that the schools are just trolling with these fancy questions. Social engineering and child psychology is the most import thing about teaching, at least if I was a principal .
so just religious schools? (private)
I teach at a public school. I only interviewed with public schools
Parish, I imagine this was Louisiana.
I just looked up teacher fantasy and you popped up so I guess thanks youtube
Hi
3:07 😂 if you love kids you should have kids
I don't know why some Americans say "Aks" instead of " ask"
Narcis Hamidi did I say aks?😂😂😂
@@JacquelineHall yeah sometimes you say "aks" 😜
Narcis Hamidi hahaha bad habit, my bad
@@JacquelineHall You are such a sweet teacher. I'm sure it's not a big deal sometimes 😉👍
I noticed this too 😂 but you’re so cute i forgive you girl haha
I fell in love with u are so beautiful my queen❤️❤️😙
this is unnecessary but you're giving me gabriella montez vibes lol
Hahahah! I used to get that a lot!
Yes!!!!
I didn’t hear any answers, just suggestions
Where are you from pronouncing asked like "aksed"?
