    And people call the Championship boring these days🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Just because one driver dominates doesn’t mean there is still incredible battles going on. In my opinion Supercars is still the best category in the world for wheel-to-wheel action. RUBBING IS RACING!!! You don’t see battles anything like this in any other category around the world. That video has pumped me up big time. Looking forward to see the big six of van Gisbergen, Waters, Davison, De Pasquale, Mostert & Feeney battle it out next season. Hopefully the Erebus boys can buy in on the battle a long with drivers like Reynolds & Heimgartner. Man I love Supercars this video has made my day👍

      NASCAR is trying to get back to tight racing, but they're also dealing with cars that are hurting drivers. However I would agree that Supercars are the best for door-to-door racing right now.

    This is the perfect antidote to watching any Australian dash-cam videos. It reminds you that there are a few Aussies (and Kiwis too!) who can ACTUALLY drive. OK, so most of them are involved in motorsport comps like this, but it would be nice to see more people on public roads taking driving much more seriously. Maybe not quite as seriously as these guys, but you know what I mean (making the driving tests more difficult & more thorough would help IMHO. BTW I'm not one to talk, I'm not a very good driver at all...)

    🙀WOW!!@
    There's no better racing anywhere than Australia!!!
    V/8 Super Cars have been producing the absolute best racing in the world for years.
    The drivers are second to none as well as the cars.
    Also their Super IIs, V8 Masters and production classes are top notch as well.
    Then theres the tracks; absolutly the best !
    Lastly, the fans. I think all Australians are race fans !!! 😎

    Can someone tell me what a redress mean and why he got a penalty

    • @rockarola55
      @rockarola55 Před 7 měsíci

      It means that you have to let your opponent overtake, as you "stole" the position from him. If you don't, you get a penalty.

      @@andrewmorse9969 yeah, but if you do so by illegitimate means (deliberately spinning your opponent, taking a shortcut and so forth), you'll have to give the position back.

    • @jackstevens8149
      @jackstevens8149 Před rokem +5

      @@ppercut what he did was within the rules I guess. Anton caused it and even though it was good to see him have a crack, he was never going to do it from that far back it was ridiculous. At the same time what happened if he let Shane past then accelerated back past him right on the line. Doubt it would’ve happened but that would’ve been within the rules as well. What Shane did I think was smart and it was also good to see a bit of bad blood back in the sport.

      @@ppercut divebombing into the last corner from miles away is also a dirty move

    • @staticman1263
      @staticman1263 Před rokem

      @@ppercut Who are you kidding. Show me where in the rules it states what SVG did was a penalty. Not allowing the redress was a smart move. ADP would get a time penalty and that may have put him even further back in the results 3rd or even 4th depending on what the stewards applied. Thus less championship points, in what was at that time still a long way from the end of the season. Very smart move from SVG.
