WTF Is Scalpel Picking!?

Just realized yesterday that I can lowkey do this technique. It’s a little more rare than orthodox picking techniques using the wrist.

Yes economy picking can distract from alternate picking. Thats why i dont do it. Only last year did i learn how to hold a pick correctly and do outside alternate picking. Had teachers since 1987 not one said hold the pick like tgis and pick this way. The main thing to me is can i remember the notes? Say i improvise to Agriona by MacAlpine do my techniques help my memory of notes? If not i discard the technique. I pick very hard you can hear it on my videos. I can play left handed also but thats like doing things differently mentally. Thx for your videos.
