I'm planning to be handling up to 30 games or more that will have high quality features how many people you think I'd need to have it being smoothly managed I was thinking maybe 50 to 60 people
honestly something that can make your game popular is making a leaderboard bc it will give the player a reason to play and grind the game for a long time
I have to say that another good thing is making a game for 8-10 year olds, this is why there are tycoons and simulators. What I mean is that roblox is ruled by children under the age of 10 so if you make something that you would think looks good add in those tags like you said and make it very simple theres a much higher chance!
A game I worked hard on was getting an average of 40 - 70 players on at once, and I released a major update that boosted it to 2,000 concurrent players. The day after it blew up, the game just fell. I didn't do anything, there were no glitches, hackers, or anything that would make the game fail. I do not know if Roblox shadow banned it, or what. I lost motivation ever since.
Wow that’s cool! Roblox really does randomly do that. What I would say is to keep working at it: that proves that it’s a working concept. If you do your best to involve influencers in it you may be able to get it huge. And keep updating, listening to player feedback. that helps too Motivation is good but sometimes you just have to do the work, discipline. If you do your best to bring it back up you’ll definitely be motivated again once you make good progress. Try to be proud of the simple things too, that would have been amazing when you started but now it’s simple, just appreciate those and it’ll help with motivation too.

I had TONS of Ideas for a game when I was a kid, And after watching this video, I thought of an idea where I dont just make one giant release but I slowly add more and more game mechanics from important to less important. This could get players to keep coming back to the game everytime new features get added. Like if good idea 👇
Make sure that your game isn’t bare and that there’s plenty for people to do. Release with core features in place, then you can update it with more stuff later
I understand all those facts, I'm kind of stuck. I've gotten past the stages of being a roblox beginner scripted but I'm very inconsistent with practice. My building skills are not the best but I'm an intermediate at blender. I can do everything to solo develop a game its just the quality and skills I lack in. I'm really at a road block and I don't even know what to do 😔

Then, i start creating it with the knowledge i had (which was very little at the time), then oh, i dont know how to do this?? How am i gonna script this? This is where the devforum comes in play. Search how to do something in the devforum or reddit, or ask it yourself, there are lots of people willing to help you. And with whatever you learn by searching, you will get more experience. i'm currently working on a horror game. development has started last week and only now have i finished the spawn area. it's basically a high-realism kinda game with usage of the roblox terrain (yes, i use and recommend part to terrain), but i'm already proud of myself. currently working on a building system which is hard enough by itself and after that i'm gonna create the monster in blender which i have already done my research about on how to sculpt. i'm also looking for an experienced scripter who is willing to help me without any payments because.. well.. i don't buy large amounts of robux. i'll probably keep you updated on the project. i promise, i won't quit. i will have some trouble coming up with annual event ideas because the gameplay doesn't quite fit that but i have already made over about 30 different games on roblox and none of the really took off with my most popular having 4.2k visits, reason for that being it's a fan game of the 2010 game craftwars. welp, i hope this goes great and i'm planning to spend around 10k in ads. if that doesn't quite work then i will have to try different methods. note: i'm highly against tiktok (yh ik 14 y/o boomer), so i will stick to youtube if i have to because making videos drains my mental health which is the reason i haven't uploaded good videos in almost 2 years. until further notice, have fun, i guess. 《◇》-Adam | 8/1/2023《◇》
A tip for devlopers dont copy a game and make yours look the same bc this will not work your game to get to front page allways try make a game wich the players never played beffor try make your own ideas and try making a game wich havent been made on roblox yet try making yours different from other games and devlop a uniq gams and just update it and listen to your audience and add things they want do not add all things they want at the same update bc the game will get boring then allways try get 1 new features every update atlest and introduce a new way of game play to the players wich makes players exited and hype and add leaderboards so players can get competitive and grind in game

At first the game will look like a generic puzzle game with a vr player helping you but the more you play you realize, the vr player is just there to laugh at you and mess with you. I will tell this by teleporting pc players to cutscenes of what actually happens behind the scenes and something along the lines of that. The pc player with the intent to win the game now has a new intent. Punish the vr player by breaking the clock. Or what I’m calling the time tower(slightly inspired by boneworks). I have already made music for the game but am still developing it. Game name is cross play conundrum: vr and pc unite
1 thing you might wanna know when you hire people: if you dont have any robux and you wanna hire: hire your friends, whenever they have some exprience on building or scripting

Really depends. You can get by on any CTR as long as your Robux per visit is high enough and you make a profit. I would say aim for 2.5% minimum on sponsors and 7% on other ad types though again no set amount, really depends on the game! Hope this helps.

Nothing in this is wrong. Roblox has said themselves their algorithm is based heavily on playtime and monetization. Those are the main factors in this video

Motivation is good but sometimes you just have to do the work, discipline. If you do your best to bring it back up you’ll definitely be motivated again once you make good progress.
