To anyone questioning "why start here and not in 2005" it's for the same reason you could start watching 2005 without the need to go back and watch all of classic who from 1963. The show is going through a second revival (albeit without a 16 year break). It's been strategically designed to introduce new viewers without feeling the burden of having to go back 60, or even 18 years worth of content. I'm sure many people will hopefully choose to go back once this 8 episode season wraps up in June, but either way, it's the perfect jumping on point for new viewers.
Exactly. Plus, my first ever episode was actually the first one from Series 5, but I did go back to the first four of the revival before 6 came out
Terrible place to start 😂
@@jingtroc23 jesus. Tell us, why. Give us your great opinions...
Right. Why overwhelm when you don't have to?
@@thepandorica1660 And if Season 5 with Matt wasn't a very soft reboot, what was? :)
Fun fact in case you didn't know, the person interviewing Ruby at the start is an actual TV presenter in the UK who hosts a show about reunited people with their long lost families.
She did a phenomenal job playing herself, which not everyone can do that well.
And Anita Dobson, who said "Never seen a Tardis before?" at the end, is married to Brian May from Queen.
No pressure.
Doctor Who is a Behemoth of a franchise.
I'll be happy just watching new seasons with Ugo. Anything else will be a treat

Exactly.
especially when you get into the extended media
But the start of every new Doctor's era is a jumping on point.
@@ericreese7792 Not really. You have idea how confused you'd be if you started with Tennant.
18:38 the scientific term for that is "Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey...Stuff".😅
Loved the reaction!
A big ball of it!
The thing with the opening door is that the TARDIS tends to be the one...Opening the door. At least when it opens on its own. Sentient time machine and whatnot. So that was the TARDIS letting her in which (If you watch the 2005-2023 stuff) will become very apparent and quite sweet
I've been trying to discern if the TARDIS opened herself up, or if The Doctor was watching through a camera and snapped his fingers when she focused on it.
Thx for the shoutout. You are too kind! Had a blast syncing up and watching along with you on Patreon. I'm about to watch your YT edit. I wanted to first address the "You should have" comments below.
Doctor Who is designed so that you can hop in whenever and wherever you like. You didn't have to watch Classic Who (Doctors 1 - 8) before watching the revival in 2005. You don't have to start with the 9th Doctor to watch NuWho (Doctors 9 -13.) You don't even have to have watched the Disney Doctor Who Specials 1, 2 and 3 (14th Doctor) before watching the Church on Ruby Road Christmas Special (15th Doctor.)
As an American (apologies for my country - most of us aren't pompous entitled dickheads - though honestly a lot of us are) my first exposure wasn't until BBC America came into existence, so I started with the 11th Doctor. That's five years after the revival. Obviously, I loved it, so I went back to catch up with 9 and 10 before continuing on with 12, 13 and 14.
In between NuWho seasons, I did watch all of Classic Who that was available on Britbox. A harder watch, but enjoyable in its own right. I've seen all of Torchwood and a few episodes of Sarah Jane Adv. I haven't seen any of Class, but would watch it if I could find it streaming somewhere.
There was logic behind my requesting Ncuti's Christmas Special, not the 3 specials before. Those specials were for NuWho diehards, to ease their transition into the Disney Who era. I have seen reactors start with the 3 specials because it was available to them and most had no problems, but I thought Ncuti deserved to have at least one reactor start with his first full episode (like I did with 11.)
In other words, though I did request this as Ugo's first Doctor Who watch to see if he would be interested in reacting to new season airing next week, I am perfectly happy with letting him choose his own path in discovering the rest of the Whoniverse.
Apologies for the long comment.
No, you should never apologize for this! TY!
It's good that you've had the experience of watching stuff like One Piece, considering people often describe the show as british One Piece. It's incredibly long, fantastical, and showcases the full range of amazing stories that can be told with just a few central characters. I absolutely ADORE this show.
I have been a big fan of this show since the mid-seventies. I collect Doctor Who memorabilia from throughout it's 60 years as a show. Welcome to my world! 😊👍
It’s so interesting to actually see someone start watching the show from this episode. There were a few back in November who started with the 60th anniversary specials (which were before this one) but I don’t think I’ve actually seen anyone start from here until now 😆.
I’ve been watching the show basically since I was born in 2006 lmao, just a year after it was revived in 2005, and I’m looking forward to this new era. Can’t wait to see your reactions from the lens of a completely new viewer!

Welcome to the show... I joined it in 1974 (and a wee bit (no more than three years later 'cos I got a "Doctor Who" doll as a pressie from my brother when he came from the hospital after being born))... Loved Ncuti in this and the previous episode... CAN'T wait to see him going forward...
...If you want to catch up, 2005 or 1963 are typical starting points. Like I say, 1974+ was mine. And then it went all kinds of timey-wimey (books, VHS, DVDs, etc) to catch up. ;)

This really feels like its gonna be a good starting point for new fans. As a Nu who fan I hope you go back one day and check out Doctors 9-14 at some point but I am so excited to see your reactions starting with Gatwa. I am so unbelievably excited for his run. He's got the same infectious charisma as Tennant and I am SO here for it
Ncuti is just gorgeous. He just oozes charisma and I would literally follow his doctor into the jaws of hell after one episode.
Right?! It always takes me a minute to get used to a new Doctor, but with him I'm like fully invested from day one! That man is charming as hell!

Welcome aboard! Also, ignore everyone saying "you should've started here or there", the idea was this was another reboot and jumping on point for new viewers. Season 1 starts in a week too, so you wont have long to wait.
Hate to nitpick, but Season 1 actually started in 1963. Series 1 started in 2005 and Series 14 is starting in a week.

@@flowersrainbows9703 Strongly disagree with that part about it being awful when it isn't even out yet, but anyway, there was a 16-year gap between Season 26 and Series 1, so I think the renumbering is justified in that instance.
I just found this amazing reaction and I have to say "Welcome to Doctor Who!" It's a wonderful time to start. Well, any time is a wonderful time to start, but as a LONG time Who fan, I am loving this season so far, 3 episodes in. Ncuti is the bomb! He has totally nailed the essence of The Doctor. Go back when you can and start with the first season of New Who -- "Rose". Have a great time! I've subscribed so I can watch it with you.
Welcome!! Doctor Who is kinda part of my life. I'm from the UK so there's definitely the culture element, but also my dad's 2 favourite things in the world are Liverpool FC and Doctor Who. He started with the 3rd Doctor (Jon Pertwee) in the early 70s and when I was like 5/6 in the months before the revival series started in 2005 my dad stuck me and my brother in a room and put on the 20th anniversary special from 1983 on for us to watch and it's been a part of my life ever since watching both classic and (what at the time was) modern Who simulatiously.
This is a great place to get started. Whilst it is the total 40th season of the show with 60 years of history, it's the latest jumping on point for new audiences. I hope you enjoy your Doctor Who journey.
Loved your reaction to this! Ncuti's charm is all over the episode and I'm so glad more people are waiting eagerly for his season.
Hey, just found your reaction to this. Great to have someone else experience Doctor Who. I hope this encourages you to go back and at least watch from 2005. So much excellence to experience. I hope you enjoy it all.
What a fun reaction! I subbed. I hope you can remain spoiler free. It is more fun to learn as the writers and showrunners intended, but so many people feel the need to give new viewers the entire history of the show.
I think the Doctor did meet Ruby's mother and that is why he is crying. I don't have a concrete theory of who she is, just yet.
Looking forward to see your reaction to season 1 starting next week
Best show in the universe - watch from here onwards, then go back and start at 2005 then if you are really wanting to go back to 1963. Its all fantastic!!
Welcome to your Doctor Who journey!!! Can't wait to see someone reacting to the new season with no prior knowledge.

Woohooooo!! Always fun to see someone get into this show for the first time. Not that you need any advice from me or anyone else, but you can carry on with the new season knowing what you know. During the loooooooonnnnnnnggggggggg break between the new episodes and Christmas (I assume there will be a Christmas special, as is traditional) you’ll probably want to dip back into the show’s history and I reckon plenty of commenters will be happy to point you to the good bits. Basic info:
Doctor Who is a British sci fi show which depicts the adventures of the titular protagonist the Doctor, and their adventures through time and space, in a bigger-on-the-inside blue police box called the TARDIS. The Doctor is a humanoid alien called a Time Lord, as they are a time traveler, and they travel through space and history with a companion by their side, mainly a person from Earth, with the role of the companion being an audience surrogate.
A reason why Doctor Who is going on for so long, is cause of the Doctor's ability to regenerate, whenever the Doctor suffers a fatal injury, they are able to change their appearance and even gender. There are currently fifteen incarnations/faces of the Doctor, and different actors who have played them, including Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi, and Jodie Whittaker, aka the first female Doctor in history.
The Doctor is a clever genius, has amazing dress sense, fights evil aliens and entities who threatens the galaxy and history, rescues civilizations, and runs a lot. There is a LOT of running in this show, all while carrying their all-purpose tool, the sonic screwdriver.
Our current Doctor is Ncuti Gatwa, the Fifteenth Doctor, and our companion is Millie Gibson, Ruby Sunday.
Be ready for the wild ride you're in for.....
(and yes, David Tennant in Jessica Jones is underrated 💜)
These are all spoilers just let him go back to 2005 and watch, don’t explain these things to him

This was so much fun to watch! I love your reaction!
This is my first time watching one of your videos. I really like your vibe and energy! Will definitely be returning to watch your Doctor Who journey!
This is amazing. Dont listen to anyone saying not to start here or that you HAVE to go back and start with the 2005 series 1. They’re just struggling with the fact that this is a new era and that someone couldn’t possibly understand the show going forward from this point onward, they will get over it. This is a new modern who era. The 2005-2022 was the revival era, which is a sub-era of the overall NuWho era that started in 2005. The 60th anniversary specials are essentially the epilogue to the revival era and the entrance to this era. My first ever episode was Forest of the Dead when I stumbled onto this show one Saturday morning. Didn’t touch the show again until series 6 was aired. I only had to get caught up on 6 seasons. I still have only seen a few episodes of classic who (63-89/96). Doctor Who fans can be just as bad as Star Wars fans, but I promise you the loud angry “no you have to do it this way” type of fans aren’t the largest portion of this community. Doctor Who is designed with jumping on points and this is probably the biggest one since Series 5 episode 1 “The Eleventh Hour”(when the show’s international presence was rapidly growing for the first time since the revival) or even series 1 episode 1 “Rose”. Watching you react to this episode with truly fresh eyes was amazing. It took me back to when I was first watching the show and being intrigued by passing comments the doctor would make that classic who fans at the time would’ve already known about. And that’s the thing, every person that is saying “No you need to start *insert start point* instead” or “this isn’t real doctor who” are saying the same things they were told when they first started watching it by the classic who fans. The show is about change and moving forward at its heart. I hope you continue this. This video introduced me to your channel and I am very excited for your journey. You can definitely go back and watch the revival era or classic era, but do not feel like you need to. There is absolutely no rush. I never watched Classic who era episodes until 2 years after I started actively watching the show. There is no rush. Keep up the awesome work

Welcome to the Whoniverse! I’m subscribed now, you’re gonna love it & by all means after this series you can start at the first reboot in 05 so you have a bit more of The Doctor’s backstory
I'm very curious to discover who Cherry, Ruby, Lulubelle and Mrs. Flood really are!
They focused too much on Lulubelle's name.
Cherry stated that the last time she saw a Doctor he tried to murder her.
Ruby not having any DNA matches means something.
Mrs. Flood went from confused by the blue box, to knowing its name and breaking the 4th wall.
..and of course, I'm curious about Carla because she didn't have anything out of the ordinary and all of the others did. (hahaha)
Well, Ruby not having any DNA matches, just means that the DNA is not in anyone's database. I've never submitted my DNA to any genetic family tree trackers and have not committed any crimes so I am not in any law enforcement database. While I do believe there is something timey-wimey about Ruby's parentage, a DNA match not being in a database is the least fantasy element in the episode.

Ncuti sounds more like Shooty. The N is practically silent.
There is a recent interview with Ncuti where he talks about how his his mom called him and corrected him on the pronunciation of his own name, because he had mispronounced it "Shooty" for years. I can't find the clip atm, but it is mentioned on the Official Doctor Who Podcast "Dot and Bubble episode" - so the N is not silent.
22:33 I like how you can pronounce his name better than he can. I know that feeling 😅
One quick thing for you to know: the TARDIS is sentient, so when the TARDIS door opened for Ruby, it was the TARDIS itself inviting her inside, not the Doctor - a good sign. Thanks for the video and here's to many more hours of you enjoying Doctor Who!
It'll be interesting to see how this goes. A new Doctor always takes a while to run in.

@@punkrockpollyanna7829 Oh, yeah, I hang on to the "New-to-Who" channels!!!
Hello :) I just came across your channel for the first time. As a long time Whovian, I'd like to give you some spoiler free context for the ending scene:
The Tardis is sentient, and on some level can communicate with the Doctor. The Tardis identifies with femininity, which is why Doc often refers to the Tardis as she/her. The Tardis sometimes has jealousy towards human female companions (prior to Ruby), and without saying who in order not to spoil anything, some of the Doctor's human companions stopped being companions because they died during dangerous journey's with the Doctor. Due to the risks of travelling with him, the Doctor is oftentimes reluctant to bring new companions on board.
So when the Tardis doors opened, from what I can tell, it wasn't the doctor doing that as he wasn't standing near the Tardis console where the front door switch would be. The Tardis appears to have opened her own doors to invite Ruby inside, because she doesn't want Doc to be lonely without a travel companion. By doing so, from a narrative point of view, the Tardis inviting Ruby in shows Doc that she approves of Ruby as a new companion, so that the Doctor can offer Ruby the adventures of time and space travel with less hesitation.
As another longtime whovian why is there a small 0.01 percent of the fan base trying to kill the new show pretending there all of us
I think you should watch the Doctor who recap by Who culture to get caught up on the last 60 years of lore so you know what you're going into. You can still watch the reboot without this info but since the show is following on on everything that happened since the 2005 reboot you might miss or not understand some things, for example, Doctor Who never usually has any mythical creatures and they are all normally explained by some sort of science. However, in the previous special episode the doctor casted a superstion at the edge of the universe which accidentally allowed the supernatural to enter our world which is the main plotpoint of this episode, and probably the new season.
That’s a dreadful idea, just watch from 2005
i687 It's season 1 for a reason, it allowes people to start fresh without having to watch 20 years of lore.

Great to see another reactor for my favourite show. Sorry about some of the "fans".
Here's the thing - a TV show doesn't last for over 60 years by staying the same - it changes with the times. Sadly, this cannot be said of all its viewers, and when the show changes and they do not, some of them just hang around and blame the show.
I'm delighted that you're enjoying the current vibe, long may you continue to do so. And if you choose to dip into its extensive history, well I hope that brings you pleasure too.

8:49 Oh yeah! You should watch the Thirteenth Doctor. She's quite an inventor!
Terrible advice, do you want to put people off?
13 had the worst writing ever, even worse than Colin Baker's
@@AndrewHalliwell so *you* want to out people off from checking out a Doctor Who era on their own merits? If they don’t like it, they don’t have to watch it. But they should be allowed to make that decision for themselves. There are plenty of Thirteen era fans. I myself am one an I agree that it is flawed but that doesn’t make it unwatchable. The flaws mainly lie in the execution of some of the episodes like Orphan 55 or Fugitive of the Judoon, which were great ideas but should’ve both been two-parters due to the large cast with their own side plots. Or the series 11 finale, which was literally just a first draft.
But there are some good ones like The Woman Who Fell To Earth or Rosa. Arachnids in the UK, Nicola Tesla’s Night of Horror and The Tsuranga Conundrum are fun to watch even if they’ve all flawed. And there are some true gems like Demons of the Pubjab, The Haunting of Villa and Village of the Angels, which truly made the Weeping Angels scary again!
@@Lia-zw1ls7tz7o The point I was trying to make was quite simple... Don't shove people towards the worst episodes of a series to encourage them to watch it, have them watch Ecclestone, Tennant and Smith first, before shoving them towards those abominations.
@@AndrewHalliwell They're not abominations! As I said, there are true gems in that era as there are in every era and it's not like the other eras are only perfect. Every era has their, in your terms "abominations" just as much as every era has its gems.
@@Lia-zw1ls7tz7o There were maybe 3 eps in the whole Chibnall run that were good enough, the rest were poor and the abominations were truly abominable. (Orphan 55?)
Do you think you will go back to 2005 after this season? I'd say another good jumping-on point is the third series (2007) because that starts with a new companion although the same Doctor. 2005 is also really great, though.
2007 isn’t a good jumping on point at all it requires you to have seen series 2 at the very least and by extension series 1. 2005 is the jumping on point. 2007 would make zero sense, especially advancing on to 2008
@@obiwankenobi687 You don't really have to have seen them. If you get the same backstory given to [redacted], it just gives you a different viewpoint. YMMV, of course, and obviously does. Generally, I recommend starting with 2005 but some people want to start later and there are places you can do. They will always give you questions, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
@@HuntingViolets sorry I completely disagree, you just can’t start with 2007, you need that context of series 2. It informs a massive part of the characterization of the Doctor and companion throughout the series and is referenced later on, as well as stuff in episodes 11-13. It’s a direct connection to 1 and 2. You just need series 1 and 2 before you watch 3, you just do. and going into series 4 after 3 would make even less sense without series 1 and 2. You just can’t start randomly in the middle
At a push fine yes we can pretend series 5 is a good starting point, despite again there being massive connections to prior series. Buy 1-4 are very much their own entire era from beginning to end
@@obiwankenobi687 That's fine you disagree (as I said), but let's not get into spoiler territory for that era. I think most people start with Series One (which I'd definitely advise) if they don't start with Classic Who (or the recent specials or Ruby Road, as some newer viewers are doing), but I know some who have started with Five because they wanted to get to that Doctor or Two for the same reason (although I think they're missing out on Nine), but to each their own. I'm not trying to convince you of anything. :)
@@HuntingViolets Man I’m just gutted RTD is pretending this is a reboot just because of the Disney money and America wanting to pretend it’s their show now. Ncuti’s Xmas special is just so not indicative of the quality of this show and it saddens me that this is now inadvertently going to act as a start point for so many people who are going to miss out on some phenomenal tv. The proper show. This feels like the equivalent of watching that god awful Velma reboot first before scooby doo. It’s just depressing this is going to be peoples impression. Hm… why not the first Doctor of the new era? The 9th Doctor from 2008? He marked the return of Doctor Who. Christoper Ecclston. Then came the legendary David Tennant who wrote history and with them we got Torchwood series. 👀
Actually the revival started in 2005 but a week out from season 1/14/40 new viewers may as well start here - that's what it's designed for - and then go back to season 27 to discover Chris, David, Matt, Peter & Jodie.
Will be interesting to see what a new viewer makes of the show....
@@binrotheheretic8174 that’s only a date difference, the fact is the same. Chibnall almost killed the show, if it’s not a cultural part of UK, prob they would cancel it by now with Jodi that’s how big was the drop and never before in history had lower than 5/10 rates not to mention more than once. They managed it get the worst rates. While David and Matt had the highest and the show reached a global audience. And yes, Jodi had a “political correct” companion group too. The show always had black ppl, lmbtq, whatever you want, but that starting group? Can’t be more obvious. An Indian police officer girl. And a black clumsy guy adapted by a white old working class man with a black wife? Come on. Of course when the Doctor becomes a woman. And right at the second episode a “Trump” message. That couldn’t be serious… so let’s just step back: the show was restarted at 2005 as you said the date, and then it goes. And without people like Captain Jack Harkness nothing is the same for a new viewer. He just won’t experience what the show is/was. Why it was that loved even the renewed one. I mean you can preach but the 10th and the 11th are legendary including their companions too.
@@nazimelmardi how about thinking before spoiling so much - besides that how about watching some classic for some perspective.
@@binrotheheretic8174 it has zero spoilers for a new viewer. While he gets there from 2005 episodes? Even if he starts now? That’s (the shortest) is months. And that is ridiculous considering a spoiler, that’s the first thing you get into your face.
As for the classics? No. I watched it. Yes. But I don’t think it’s a good idea for new viewers today to start there especially not if they want to make reactions this slow. It has 800 or so episodes, man, 60 years. I can’t even remember when I
I started to watch it back then. This is like One Piece anime. It has 1000 episodes but only advised for those who are actually interested in animated shows. Not for everyone. No matter how awesome it is. The new was made way more “user friendly” 😂 if I can call it that.
As good as Tennant is, he's not the Be All End All of Doctors, 10 or 14.
This era is built for people to start here but journey back later if they want to. Just as Series 1 was built for it, just as Series 5 was built for it, just as Series 11 was built for it.
If he wants to jump back to Series 1 (2005) once this upcoming season is over, then he will, he doesn't need people like you pressuring him to do so.

I also think you're thinking of something else as a spoiler to what i'm thinking (actually I'm thinking multiple spoilers)!
I probaly would had started from either William Hartnell Classic Dr. Who 1963-1989 or from Christopher Eccleston New Who from 2005-2022 or atleast a Tom Baker Story before reacting to this.
new viewers are unlikely to start with classic so yes probably 2005 but this is also a logical start point for new viewers - and as we know starting at the 60th would be very spoilery😀
Nah, I think this is fine. This is being branded as a new S1. It's also just one week before the premiere of the season/series and he can very easily go back to previous episodes after he's done this season :)
Disney Who is the worst place to start the series but that's just me.
Ncuti is actually pronounced 'SHOO-ti'.
I'm a bit old school Doctor Who, having been around since the 60s, and really enjoyed the 'new' series for the first few years, couldn't stand the previous Doctor and her dullness, got excited when the old showrunner Russell T Davies came back. There were three specials for the 60th anniversary in November, which I wasn't over the moon about. Then this one came soon after at Christmas, and I wasn't that impressed - maybe Doctor Who wasn't for me any more.
This was actually the first time I've rewatched any of this episode since Christmas, and seeing it through another's eyes - and eyes brand new to the series - made me realise how much of the Doctor Who I like was in there. Several mysteries set up, a good if obvious time travel twist, a cute companion - and though it took a while, Ncuti nailed that 'I'm the Doctor' line.
I hope you like this voyage through the first Ncuti season. I believe there are only eight episodes and it won't be back until 2025 sometime - though of course there will be a Christmas Special - so plenty of time to start back in 2005 with Chris Eccleston.
Ncuti is appearing at the National Theatre in London over the winter in 'The Importance of Being Earnest', and I shall be there!
Great reaction.
No! Why here!? God damn disney plus and their need for this to be called season one, people are going to miss a lot of great content if they start at series 14
You mean series 40? People would miss out on so much if they started at 2005, there's like 40+ years of content they'd be skipping.
Do you see the issue?
Plenty of people jumped onboard for the first time with 'Rose' or 'The Eleventh Hour' and ended up going back to explore more of the show's history. I'm sure this latest series will have exactly the same impact and encourage plenty of new fans to delve deeper into the 60+ year history of Doctor Who given time.
Ah why would you start here. Start from 2005 onwards at least
I'm so sorry that you had to start here, when there are _far_ better episodes from as late as 2017. It's especially annoying since the last few series don't properly demonstrate what Doctor Who is all about.
No. No. No. Go back and start from 2005 series 5. Don't have 15th as the first doctor. I'm sure he'll be fantastic but there's so much history you need to experience
Noo this should be 2005. This is just one of the problems that comes with rebooting unnecessarily for Disney. This is only called season 1 because Disney gave them money and it was part of the deal that they had to reboot purely because Disney aren’t allowed to show the rest of the proper seasons. This is the worst place to start, this isn’t the show,
2005 is where to start, that’s the jumping on point for Doctor who, this really isn’t
My friend, current Who isn’t Doctor Who. I beg you, don’t be suckered in by identity politics. Start at 2005 and stop around Matt Smith era. For Doctor Who had been completely gutted by the time Chibnal took over and Jodi became the Doctor. It’s been destroyed by cynical activist creators who have an obvious disdain for the show’s legacy and the fact the Doctor was a traditional British man and they desperately wanted to insert modern politics into what was a longstanding television icon. Doctor Who was a show made by Britain’s for Britains and gained widespread appeal with that foundation. It’s been a show steeped in their culture for decades with longtime fans who loved the world and British citizens felt a sense of national pride from its global success. And now the people producing it have not only deconstructed and retconned what made the show beloved in the first place, it’s done so while hating it’s original white British creators, while being misandrist, overly propagandistic, and frankly just having absolutely horrendous writing, dialogue, and characters.
Please, modern TV is sooo awful. Don’t be fooled by substandard media. Check out some older stuff and I guarantee you’ll see the difference in quality writing and acting performances.

Do yourself a favour and watch Classic Who 1963-1989. The new version has the Doctor out of character thanks to Russell T Davis.
Not doctor who
Season 40 this year is going to be so bad , trash doctor, trash companion and trash episodes , they already sound so horrid, classic and 05 to 2023 is so much better, the doctors are better, the episodes have more action and love and more storyline, not just space babies or a stupid musical episode , 8 episodes is a poor amount too ..
Season 40 and most likely season 41 will be total crap , till they go back to 13 episodes and an actual story arc not just this crap
If this is your introduction to 'Doctor Who' I pity you.
Why are you trying to spoil other people's fun?
This is not REALLY Doctor Who to be fair.
