Could never want a Bandit 600, purely because I have the superbike monster, that is a, one very careful, cautious owner who basically ran it in for 15,000 miles Monster 650 Bandit, sound check in a Forest???, I get that!!!, no fine for noise damage. For the non bigger Bandit rider, 600??, must be a joy.

Thinking of getting one for my A2 license. Have you commuted on it? How is it in traffic? Is it difficult to filter on?
It is a great commuter bike. The only complaint I have with it is the low foot pegs and the weight. Going to fix the foot pegs in spring so I can go dragging knee on it on the weekends, can't do nothing about the weight tho. And it uses quite a lot of fuel since it is carburated.

The oil cooled bandits have a air injection system as part of the emissions control package. It pumps air into the exhaust to burn the unburned fuel. That's why they pop so much on the overrun.

Como has hecho para que te salga fuego con el tubo de chinakoexpres? Eso q es xq no lleva catalizador ni nada? La pregunta es, que es lo que le has montado o quitado para que l.haga?
Buenas Frank. La Bandit, al menos el modelo de 2004, no lleva catalizador, ya que el tubo de serie es enorme y elimina mucho ruido y gases.
La llama se consigue haciendo un corte encendido a la vez que das gas, pulsando el botón rojo. Esto solo pasa en motos de carburación y la explicación es que los carburadores echan gasolina a los cilindros y al no tener encendido ésta no se quema, y pasa a los colectores. Al recuperar el encendido toda al gasolina almacenada en los colectores y tubo se incendia. No es dañino para el motor pero mejor no hacerlo a cada momento hahaha
