Ocean waves: * hits Gordon *
Gordon: * Swears *
Ocean: "Yes chef, sorry chef"
So is this the newest stupid meme that people are going to be doing on every Ramsay video? For years it was the obnoxious Nino thing, lamb sauce and Raw comments I had to see.
@@sstills951 chill bud, thats kinda funny
@@sstills951 dudes so mad chill lol
@@sstills951 grow up kid
@Joel Lara Thanks brother. We all need to chill.I love ya bro
I have to say national geographic and all these professional shows do a really great job at capturing footage. Much appreciated.
You know it's gonna be good when Gordon is just *beep* *beep* throughout. I thought free diving for octopus or lobsters was hard but this is insane.
Cameraman was right in there too, cheers to all three gents
It's harder.
its a gopro strapped to their chest with a drone.
I agree it should've been a group hug
from the angles, it's cameras strapped to those two, drones and zoom in from long distance. the cameraman is safe and dry.
No cameraman there bud
Gordon Ramsay is everywhere doing everything
What did he do there? Get a couple of them? Get real. Ramsey needs to stay in the kitchen and YOU need a dose of reality.

Portugal is amazing
As a portuguese I have to agree with you :)
@@mauricioalfaiate6033 i have a question… does portugal have buildings from andulisian times…or that’s just spain
????
@@Darksoil4555 There are some in the very south (algarve) im pretty sure. Spain has many more though
i'm born and bred portuguese, my mother always told me to never turn my back to the ocean, it can get quite dangerous here
Same with being at sea. Even on a large ship such as mine, rogue waves are very dangerous while you're on the weatherdecks.
My father said the same.
Yep. Smart lady your Mother. Whether on a boat or on the rocks, you always keep your eye on the sea. She's a tricky & unpredictable lady who's totally unforgiving & without remorse. She chews up idiots & spits them away as if they were nothing. Best to just stay away unless you're with someone who really knows what they're doing. We get many rock fishing accidents & deaths in my country, mostly people with little to no experience who've done no research & go by themselves instead of with someone with experience & local knowledge. NEVER go by yourself.
4:28 is the laugh of a true madman haha! xD
so true lmao
“Never turn your back on the ocean”
Rico: Turns back from ocean
"I am literally putting lipstick on a pig" 😂
The subtitles, I can't 😂
Portugal is f* awesome! 🇵🇹
Portuguese people are salt of the earth. love them
Why do they taste of salt?
What a lovely vid to watch at 3 am in the mornin
In India it's 11pm!
Omg the subtitles are all about pigs I'm dying
Yeah I thought something was off too haha
What pigs??? Subtitles look fine fine me. No mention of pigs
@@angelinspace4658 Aww you guys missed it :D :D
They are saying we are pigs, lol ...
Oh wow ! I genuinely wondered for a minute why they were having a conversation about pig rearing by the ocean…. Thanks closed captioning it made for a very funny watch.
Costa Alentejana PORTUGAL the most beautiful place in the world! "Percebes" are amazing food! Nice Job!
Portugal also has a reputation among us surfers, the best waves but the most dangerous. Where gordon is now we refer to as "a devils kettle" and it's not a place you want to be
(As an American who has eaten at the “F” Word) I was so excited to record and share with my Portuguese husband (Pedro de Carvalho) my favorite chef’s trip to Portugal. OMG, my husband was so upset that I ended up apologizing during most of the episode and watching the rest by myself.
Why visit a German pig farmer that now is in Portugal?
Why stay with mostly seafood when Portugal has many other options?
Why show the wonderful Portugal wine and dessert when you don’t even mention it at the conclusion of the show?
Portugal has so many other great tastes and I hope you visit again and take time to see more “Portuguese” places of food, cheese, wine and other GREAT food!
Agreed, one episode is not enough
@@milomhoek NatGeo could do a all series in Portugal and not repeat the same delicious course twice
I am from Spain and I can say Portugal in underated.
@@milomhoek I feel like that’s true with most places tho
OMG!!! Look at the nature!!!
Great share! Many thanks!
the subtitles are wild
Use to hate ramsey but now he is open to learn,he good !!
They give me goosebumps the way they look
CLOSED CAPTIONS for the win
Awesome landscape
I grew up with the cold and rough pacific ocean, but one look at those rocks and the violent surf has me terrified. "Never turn your back on the ocean." is some very familiar advice...
Love from a Portuguese in Taiwan.
The perilous journey one must take to acquire such food!
Portuguese baby! B)
Love from Japan 🇯🇵
I've had this in Nantes! Delicious
I didn't know you could eat barnacles 😲 on SpongeBob they don't fkn eat them so I'm learning today.
The taste is quite unique, it's salty and very juicy, it litterally tastes like the ocean
Great video! Those barnacles look delicious!
I am dying for the captions =)) so funny
Gordon going all in to get my favorite sea food 👏👏👏👏
Richie, foi proprietário da POCEAN e nosso professor de surf em Ribeira d'Ilhas. O conhecimento dele do mar lusitano e, principalmente, das ondas do Atlântico fez dele um especialista em Percebes. Good job Richie!
The ocean “mar” can give you everything but can also take everything from you. Respect it, don’t underestimate it
My country is freaking awesome!
Gordon: "this is mad!"
Cameraman: *"brrbrrgrlll"*
It's too fookin raw
Boil them in water and then try it 👌
..you eat them raw…you actually eat it alive, coming from a portuguesa woman
Oh my country was so beautiful I love you Portugal ❤❤
When I read the title I was hoping to see Gordon on a whales backside lol
uncharted is so much fun
Adventurous dangerous stupid and delicious that gets me everytime 👍
What an adventure
You can harvest barnacles pretty easily here in Portugal, lol. Not this life threatening drama, no need to risk your life 🤣
They need to do that for the drama
They were in Portugal
@@healtheworldforabetterplac7574 I pictured Gordon Ramsay and the production crew relaxing, drinking some beers and eating barnacles in some family owned business. Some random local joins them, hoping to get free beer, and proceeds to convince them he's this barnacle expert, with a secret harvesting location. Suddenly, they're all taking part in a "once in a lifetime experience" . XD
Same in Spain, although it is hard labour.
Oh yes you do, to get the real big ones. They risk their lives everyday here in Portugal. It´s a very hard job.
subtitles - *turn the machine off!!!! Turn the machine off!!!!*
While he's getting hit by the waves 😂😂
gordon out here doing side quests...
Lovely ❤️
I don't think Bobby Flay could have done that. Respect to chef Ramsey.
not kosher, but lots of fun in the water! 😁😀
Food Hunters: Let's go get some percebes. It's gonna be stupid dangerous.
Tasty Percebes: We know we're tasty so we're just gonna hang around the most dangerous areas.
Super 👏👏👏👏
Doing this without a helm is just nuts
Delicious perceives…my system amazing chef
Gordon in this episode: Pretends to be nervous about cooking for the mayor
Also Gordon: has cooked for the Queen Elizabeth years ago
To be fair he’s competing with a chef that’s native to that country.
That 2D Defender. I'll take 2 please! :-)
Wow that's so crazy of a job
Never turn your back to the water, first thing he does is turns his back to the water lmao
The true gem is in the closed caption 😂
Hit Newfoundland Gordon loads of fresh and unique ingredients

5:09-Delicious Gordon?You didn't even try it yet
how do you know? you live with him?
Now hes a top world chef and Bear Grills
Omg....👍👍👍 ( Love you from India )❤️
cooooooool
Hopefully there will be a content about guppy fish or rainbow fish.. Thank you.
This feels like an intense boss battle only to be rewarded 50 coins or something.
wow
The sea waves are challenging and act with tremendous force while harvesting the shellfish.
Ahh, I remember seeing those on the Kimagure cooking channel, and wanted to find out what they were, but it was all in Japanese, so I couldn't.
“Harvesting Barnacles”
So they are harvesting what squidward always call spongebob and Patrick
This is my country Portugal 🇵🇹😎
SOMOS PORTUGAL! FORÇA! 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
TURN ON CAPTIONS 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Blistering Barnacles!
The funny fact that it is 100€ a kilo, but for people who live here and if you know the right guy you can get it for like 15€ or 20€ 😂 I can’t believe Gordon was only about 30KM away from me
Nice video.
show the cooking straight after the action...how to clean and prepare, that would make for a great show.
he does before on the uncharted episode, basicly you just throw them into boiling salted water and eat them like that, they taste very close to what you taste when you swallow ocean water it's very weird
OMG !!! SO Cool Content
I catch percebes all the time .
Ramsay has that dump truck
"RAWR"
If it has Gordon Ramsay and harvesting or hunting in title I click
2:18. ..mr fantastic
I think this is were aquatic unmanned robots will come in handy. The robots drill & attach themselves to the rocks and collect all the bannacles. Once there is innovation the price of sea bannacles will drop.
I love how the cursing is muted.
I've tried barnacles in a local Portuguese restaurant (in Portugal) which were caught straight from the sea (minute walk away from the ocean) and they were REALLY salty, probably the most salty thing I've had next to eating a handful of salt
All this time I though barnacles were similar to clams 😅
They are creatures who attach themselves with a little barrier shell to crayfish. They are. I'm honestly not aware what kind of barcles these are, but they definitely are massive
Blistering barnacles !
IM HIGH ASF WHY IS THE TRANSLATION IN ENGLISH IS SO RANDLM WYF
Gordon did this in Spain as well
Don't know why I was looking for RICARDO MILOS
I'll never complaints about the price again 😐😐... They're really risk their life for a plate of food.
This feels like a GTA mission
Why the subtitles are so random
You call it ' Turtle hands' in South korea.
