Hope to see METROID PRIME 2&3 REMASTEREDS or the really Long Time waited METROID PRIME 4 since 2017. A new 2D METROID Game would be NICE too, didin't like METROID DREAD but LOVE METROID SAMUS RETURNS, wan't to see it on NINTENDO SWITCH after 3DS.
I hope 2 and 3 are remastered aswell prime was amazing to play, if 1 2 and 3 are done the amount of people getting interested will increase a much larger interest for metroid 4, it has to be a switch 2 release, I'm nearly 50 and im really looking forward to it, thanks for the update mate.
I think it'd be cool if Nintendo revamped the graphics and gameplay of the metroid 2 remake and released it on switch

I want to see Metroid Prime 2 & 3 get the same treatment as 1. I would even pay the $50 price for each of them separately since I never got to play them on the older systems.
That’s seriously all I’ve been waiting for and I’m shocked we haven’t heard anything on it.The whole Metroid Prime trilogy on switch physically is my wish before the new switch completely takes over.

Metroid Prime 4 has to be a Switch release as well.
Would be odd for Nintendo to split up the Saga over two systems, but with backwards compatibility and I'm sure Nintendo's next system will keep using cartridges, keep it on Switch, and all 4 can be played on either system.

I hope that metroid prime 2 and 3 were delayed in order to give them the original prime treatment. Maybe the sales for the first game beat Nintendo's expectations. Making it worth the extra time and money.
I hope to see Metroid 2 3 and 4 in 2024 and for Christmas I finally got Metroid Prime so I added another sales figure to that to push Nintendo along!

Metroid 2, 3 and 4 are already part of Nintendo Online.
I just want Prime 2 and 3 playable on modern hardware without having to pirate it. I haven’t touched my switch much since I beat Prime 1 multiple times after the first couple months of release.
I think prime 2 and 3 were just planned for an hd uprez and out the door to hype for 4, but I also feel that the unexpected success of prime 1 remastered could have spurred them into giving 2&3 the full workover now as well.
I hope the success of prime one remastered sparked full remasters of the other two games.
They redid all the textures for mp1. I am not sure they would do this for the others but I would totally be all over the other games if they do.
I hope they all get re released while they continue making New Metroid games

If we get Echoes or Echoes AND Corruption in February, then I think Metroid Prime 4 is almost guaranteed for late 2024. If February passes without ANY Metroid announcements/Updates/Shadow Drops, then I don’t know what the heck is going on.

Well you see, what's going on is Prime 4 released 2 years ago, But only 4 copies were released, if you missed out, to bad. No footage was allowed to be shown, as it caused monitors to explode.
Hopefully starting next year we see Prime 2 & 3 HD Remasters leading up to Prime 4, along with a port of Samus Returns before Metroid 6 releases (probably in the 2025-2026 range). 👾

The thing about Metroid 6 though, is the guy behind Metroid said that Dread was the end of the story...Dread was them finally finishing Samus's adventure. So they would have to make a whole new adventure/story to progress.
I don't have it pegged as a launch title for the next Nintendo system anymore, but I think Metroid Prime 4 will be a Nov. 2024 release.
Looking forward to a Metroid prime 2,3,4 and a Metroid Zero Mission, Samus Returns 3DS, Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion collection pack would be cool on the I wish pack

This February Nintendo Direct will reveal Metroid Prime Remastered 2 + 3, but the games will indeed be fully remastered. This is because the games would be a graphical letdown compared to what was done in 1 Remastered, even with an HD up-res. Further, the later Prime games didn't sell as much as the first one, so Nintendo will release both, fully remastered, to ramp up the sales, while at the same time completing the background leading up to Prime 4 and ramping up the hype. We will not see anything from Prime 4 this February. Prime 4 will be revealed properly come summer, so there is some marketing space between 2+3 Remastered and 4. Prime 4 will release holidays 2024 on Switch 1, along with the next generation Switch (and an upscaled version of Prime 4 as a launch title).
Furthermore, as the commenter on this video stated, Metroid as a series doesn't yet sell as well as Mario or Zelda; clearly Nintendo aims to make Metroid a larger franchise on par with other IPs. As such, Prime 4 will dual release as the final mainline Switch game and a Switch 2 launch title, so the amount of marketing, sales and hype hit fever pitch. The amount of Switch 1's that have sold are now at their highest, so there will be maximum exposure from both the current gen, and as a hyped up launch title for the next gen.
That would be a glorious desirous situation towards Metroid Prime 2+3 Remastered!
Last year summer i sold my oled because the games ... were kinda expensive and i prefer old games....

I didn't know Mercury Steam was planning on making another 2D Metroid game! That's epic! Another original title would be awesome, but if that said new 2D Metroid game just so happens to be a Super Metroid remaster I think I would absolutely lose it (in a good way).

I would love to see Metroid: Other M HD on Switch. It’s not a classic, but there’s a lot of good in it & if Skyward Sword can come to Switch, why not Other M?

Unfortunately I think Ninty is going with the much cheaper "Silent Hill HD Collection" type of HD Remake for Prime 2 and 3... which is a damn shame, because 2's art is outstanding, and 3 as well, but 2 really did some of the coolest stuff I've ever seen. I really wish Prime 2 got the Prime Remastered treatment, it certainly deserves it. But I don't think it's happening.

I think that this year is gonna be Metroid Prime 2 and 3 coming to Switch and I think we may hear about Prime 4 this year with it releasing next year as a cross gen game on Switch and Switch 2. I could be wrong on that, and I hope I am! But that's just what I feel at the moment

I always thought I would only play the 2D Metroid games if I got into Metroid at all, but after getting Prime Remastered for Christmas I am kind of addicted and I need the other games on my Switch.
I hope we get prime 2 and 3 this year with the same remaster treatment.

It would totally make sense if we got Prime 2 Remastered in February, since it would have been a year since Prime 1 Remastered came out. I had an idea actually that next year around the same time we would get Prime 3 Remastered, and then for the holidays we would get the big boy game of Metroid Prime 4. Just a theory. I feel like they can release Prime 4 at any time, hopefully sooner rather than later. But they could totally hold it off for next year in 2025 if they wanted to, if it's not ready QUITE yet.
Prime 4 will be released in 2025 with the new console. Basically the same move as Breath of the Wild. Will be available on both consoles of course ^^
Getting Prime 2 & 3 in a single value pack is actually a reasonable guess. We did get the first 3 prime games on a single disc for Wii.

I think at this point if they released just an upres of prime 2 and 3 after so long it would be a major let down, consideting they could have spread out both remasters much better if Prime 4 is indeed coming this year.

Nah, you have to be wrong about them just being up ressed and nothing else. They have to give those games the same level of treatment as Prime 1 Remastered to win more fans over and get ready for Prime 4.
If we don't get mp2 separate from mp3. And use mp3 as a pre order bundle for mp4. I'll care less about a bundle mp2+3. Nintendo needs to put some respect on metroid name. I'd rather mp2 and 3 spread through next year with mp4 dropping after fall.
Makes no sense for Nintendo to have Prime 1 Remastered looking AMAZING, then have Prime 2 and 3 looking meh, then Prime 4 blowing everything away lol. Talk about all over the map. Prime 2 should have the same treatment as Prime 1 as they were both Gamecube games...Prime 3 on the other hand could simply just have a Skyward Sword HD treatment if they are short on time for fully remastering it. But Prime 2 definitely should get the Prime 1 Remastered treatment.
It would be very underwhelming after Prime Remastered if they came out with inferior remasters of 2 and 3, would nuke the hype for Prime 4 IMO, so it's better to not release it at all until after Prime 4 if that's what you're doing

Metroid Prime 4 should not come out. It was announced nearly 7 years ago. Now all Metroidfans have so high expectations that Retro Studios maybe is not able to meet.

Metroid Prime 2 remaster is possible, but i think 3 will not coming out. How will you change the controls of Prime 3 to the Switch? Nearly impossible, but i´m maybe wrong about that.
And one thing i hope, that Nintendo will drop Mercury Steam for another Metroid Game. Metroid for me died because of the melee attacks. Beams are nearly useless, run, melee, shoot. Regardless of the beam, the enemy will die. Thats boring

I'm a new METROID Fan My First METROID Game what I've played was SUPER METROID on SUPER NINTENDO CLASSIC MINI what I got in My Birthday in 2018 5 Years ago, been a METROID Fan since that. We have NINTENDO WII but sadly We don't have METROID Games on WII like METROID 1-3 and on NINTENDO 3DS I don't have METROID SAMUS RETURNS but would LOVE to buy (a Physical Version of METROID SAMUS RETURN for 3DS because RIP 3DS and WII U éSHOPS defienitily I'm gonna miss 3DS éSHOP.) Two Years ago in 2021 when METROID DREAD came out I was HYPED First but when I saw it's Gameplay didin't was HYPE anymore but it's a Good New 2D METROID Game and defienitily it's Story is AMAZING, maybe I'm buy and play it some Day. But for Now in 2023 I was really EXCITED of METROID PRIME REMASTERED what came in Ferbruary and I bought it in July My Summer Vacation, it's so AWESOME First METROID PRIME got REMASTERED Version for NINTENDO SWITCH, it's really a GOOD Game and it's Price only 40€ is a Perfecto for NINTENDO SWITCH Game what I was surprised when I saw it's Price in a Shop. By the way Next Year 2024 is coming, as an Owner of METROID PRIME REMASTERED would LOVE to see METROID PRIME 2 and 3 REMASTEREDS too and maybe a LONG Time waited METROID PRIME 4 what Trailer came out in 6 Years ago 2017 if I'm remember it right and it's still not revealved even in 2023.
