Did you see the fat? What does it look like 👀
My mom loves the fat. I usually just eat the fish lol
Certain fish fat is higher in omega fatty acids.
Would be cool if you tried from Trinidad and Tobago. its where i am from and the food their is so flavorful and amazing.🇹🇹
Its my favorite! Also try sinigang bangus belly mapapawow ka sa sarap. 😂
I don't eat that but I eat the head of bangus...
Yeah, fish has a lot of essential fat, Omega-3, and lower ratio of omega-6/omega-3, so, it is better than land animal
If it's wild caught. (Of course exceptions will exist)
@@remn3nt266 Actually, farmed fish are higher in omega 3's and have a higher overall fat content than wild caught fish.
@@coolboy2153 I'm talking gram for gram. Ex.
If if 35% of fat from farmed salmon is omega 3 and it has
1.5x more total fat than wild caught, then yeah but 45%
of fat from wild caught would be omega 3.
Sorry for the confusion.
@@remn3nt266 Fair enough then! For people reading and wondering, wild caught salmon (as an example) have a 1:100 ratio of omega 3’s to omega 6’s. Farmed salmon is approximate 1:450, about 4.5x higher than the ratio for wild salmon.
The one grown in salt water is okay, but the fresh water one is not.
Bless their souls, they probably didn't know the belly's the best part of bangus 😭 that would be the first thing to disappear in every ph kainan 😂
Truuuuu.
When we were kids, my cousins and I would usually spend our vacation in our Aunt's house in the mountains. One night, we were eating our dinner of rice and grilled bangus outside in a hut when the power went out. We're all lazy so no one bothered to find a candle or something and we still continued to eat. After a while, the lights were back up and we find that ALL of the bangus has their bellies eaten. All that's left is the normal fish meat on the side.
@@beacasiano6161 😆😆🤣🤣🤣
When i was younger i actually don't eat the fat even if my whole family told me that it is the best part because of the texture but im starting to like it now
@@beacasiano6161 this sounds amazing ! I love learning about other cultures !!
Truu
It's hard to find a Filipino who does NOT like the belly fat of the bangus. Literally.
well you've found one
@@estellaimuan4012 you weren't found. You came forward.
@@moldycookie8162 😂
Me
Me!
My local Filipino restaurant makes Sisig Bangus and it’s basically crack w/ rice
crack 😭
Bruh why crack 💀💀💀
I agree
@@zhusikuqi8147 addictive as fk
if that aint true HAHAHA
Truly one of the most unique fishes I've ever tasted. It's easily in my top five fish that I could eat everyday.
It’s spelled fish not fishes
@@leviackerman9962 actually both are appropriate.
True
GG,tamban,tuna,bangus, pacific saury
My Filipino mom living in Sweden made this for us and I gotta agree, I can't stop eating it once I got a taste of it
Bangus marinated in soy sauce, vinegar/calamansi and garlic bits is the best !!
Yes indeed
YESSSS❤️❤️❤️
I would absolutely have done the same. An untouched pile of bangus at a kamayan? Yes PLZ!
You can have them hahaha! I'm Chinese and my whole family loves the fat of the fish, I don't. I tell all around me, if you love them. By all means more for you to enjoy. ☺️
Whats it taste like?
@@katiejenkins4532 the texture is very jelly, and imo it's very creamy, also depends on the marinade (vinegar) and dip (fish sauce)
@@andros3443 I would hate it cause of the texture
@@katiejenkins4532 the fat taste like milk-it's called milk fish for a reason
Milkfish is delicious! We have this in a lot of Taiwanese cuisine! It’s my favorite. Usually braised, pan fried, or in soup with some scallions. My fav breakfast food for sure!
Yum!
My family would be at war just to have one of the fattiest bangus/milkfish.
The way she said “fatty belly” and “I hope it is” gave me a genuine smile.
When you're allergic to this fish and your parents eat it in front of you TwT
🤣🤣🤣
My parents gave me the nickname "bangus" and my brother "tilapia" because I'd only eat bangus that my mom made lmao
This is LadyDroolius’ favorite! She loves to eat Bangus with rice. I’ve learned to enjoy it too 😋
Aww cute lol ur wifey?
Bangus belly has a lot of omega-3
It's a part slept on but could literally be finished by people who know how good it is very easily
In our household, if you eat with family, fish's fat part usually reserved for our parents/old folk first, since it was sooo good
It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten this, and I miss the belly of this fish it’s so soft and good!
the fat from bangus is my favorite part to eat!
I really love this Girl 😍.. proud of you kabayan I hope all Filipino who raised in other countries will never forget our colourful and wonderful culture as Filipino♥️
meanwhile : Imma grab the shrimps and leave quietly
belly part is actually the tastiest part in fried bangus 😋 i miss bangus
Other people: I eat it
Me: I keep it
I really like that dish, and me and my sis calls the fat "Yummy tummy" mainly because it's their belly😂
I’ve seen at least 3 of these shorts and these ladies have not made a dent on this table! 😂😅
I wanna be where you were with you when you was eating. The food looks so delicious. I need a friend from the Philippines that can cook
It's fun to know that there are so many similarities in our cultures in Asia. We also eat food on banana leaves here in south India. And we obviously eat with our hands all the time.
Homegirl gobbling down them microplastics
I like bangus
But I like the daing na bangus more
Filipinos know what daing is, it's basically bangus that is salted and dried in the sun. Though I often just buy the boneless daing because I'm just too lazy to pick the bones (tinik) lol
My siblings will fight me for that fish fat.
Jeanelle, do you make bangus? Like... indoors? I'm afraid to make it! Can you teach us?!!!🙏🙏
Omg that looks soooo good
I love it!!!
Gurl. You got three of them! You are sooo luckkkky!!!
This looks so good
THIS LOOKS SO GOOD!!! 😭😭
That feast looks so much better and funnier without plates! I'd love to try!
My mouth waters every time I watch one of your vids 🤤
That looks really good. I’m always eager to try new foods
That's literally the best part. Yum!!!
Looks so delicious 😋😋😋
Yuuum. That looks amazing.
Looks delicious 😋
My mouth is watering... looks so good
Bangus is one of my favorites. I dont like fish a lot but that belly is good no matter how you cook it. Lately, after i stopped eating pork, i’ve been a big fan of fish bellies. They seem more flavorful than the other parts. And since no more pork or chicken skin for me, fish head, when fried nicely is my alternative. Really hits that craving for crunch fatty stuff.
It looks so good
I love it! My favorite. 😍😍😍
Looks so good.
Bangooooose ❤️
The way I would always FIGHT for the middle part if the fish at home 😂
me and my dad even fight abt the milkfish belly bcs its so good😩
Bangus is my brother favorite thing to eat, it’s really delicious

You got a lottery with nobody else eating the fish 😍😂.
My sister and I literally fight for the fat
Bangus is one of my favorites. And fish fat is delicious! 🤤😋

my friends fight over this part; however, only my dad eats this at home. Absolute bliss for him. I never got the taste for it.
milkfish belly is my favorite its just so good
My Favorite😂
Fuck, now I'm craving milkfish at 3 am
Oooh girl that is my favorite😋
Loving the fish earrings!
Hahaha! I always eat it! And you can't stop it
That's why your skin is so gorgeous! Healthy fats moisturize our skin from within and prevent outbreaks.
You can tell she eats barely any fat
Also you cant even see the skin it's covered in makeup
My favorite part of bangus, the fat tastes good and it's the only fat I can eat without feeling nauseous.
I love it so much💕
Wow, bangus belly is the first one to vanish in every milkfish dish i make.
Nakakagutom haha
looks so good..
as long as it doesn't have the muddy/gilik taste, its awesome.
Haha your dance when eating food you love is so cute
It is much healthier than beef, chicken or pork fat. Its loaded with omega 3s and is actually good for you in many ways. I love fat that is packed with flavor!
Wow sarappp naman to! 😮
I love bagus.. its my favorite!!!
This is definitely one feast I’d love to be a part of 🤤🤤🤤
That looks yummy yummy yummy for my tummy.
Fish fat part is the most precious part.
😋
The fish fat is the reason why broken family exist.
wow yummy yummy
Ahhh the best
Fish fat be too fishy for me but somehow when it’s on my plate I can’t stop eating it
Ohhhh...delicious 🌬️💕💕💕
Again boodle fight is the best
bruh.. til this day if we had bangus for our meal yah bet everyones gonna fight for the bellies 😤 (all the fucking tinik be damned its worth it)
It's ikan bandeng in Indonesia 🐟 super good!

Every video :
Always gotta say 「in the Philippines」
Pancet polabok and lumpia big and small are my favorites. And Pepsi cola.
It's my favorite part!!!
so yummy 🤤
Here I am contemplating my 34 years on this planet trying to decide if I've ever eaten fish fat in anything besides vitamins
Fish is actually the second healthiest food
Yum yum imiss the other Filipino dishes 😊 watching from Dubai 🇦🇪
