You should definitely try making Hong Kong pineapple buns, they have a really nice crust on top that looks like a pineapple and the butter flavor is just **chef’s kiss**

I’ve had the Thai version of this in which it’s cubes of sliced thick bread that’s toasted and slathered in different types of spreads.
I had a coconut taro and a Pandan Kaya sauce spread all on it.

So at school in thailand we would have this desert
Its like there is sweet red water from thailand (its very sweet)
And the sweet red water would be mixed with milk and there would be TINY BREAD CUBES
I really like this desert and i think that you would like this too! But if you dont have sweet red water
Then you can use any sweet syrup.

If you have the chance you should try snobrød (twist bread) it is a childhood fav of mine. I used to smear nutella or butter on it but you can really put anything on it 😂😁
