- In this video, I'll be discussing the top 5 Discord bots you need in your Discord server that will provide the tools necessary to effectively manage your Discord server and take your community to the next level.
With Discord being one of the best ways to build your community outside of your Twitch stream or other content platforms, growing and management can start to become a much larger task than a lot of people initially realize. For me, I had no idea that The Flock Discord server I created when I first started streaming would grow to over 12,000 members at the time of recording this video. But with that growth, I've had to look for ways to manage a community in the most efficient and effective way possible. This is where Discord bots come in.
A Discord bot can literally save you hours of work by automating things that we'd normally have to spend hours doing manually. With the right Discord bots at your fingertips, you can streamline these tasks and create a server that is not only fun for people to hang out in but also is much more professional than a server without any Discord bots. That is why I'll be showing you what I consider to be the top 5 Discord bots you need in your Discord server and I'll show you a little of what each bot can do. The video was 23 minutes long, dedicated for bots, but it was awesome. It was completely worth watching the whole video. You went in depth, and were very informative. This was an awesome video!

I'm setting up a private discord more for myself only. For productivity, yeah, but also as a sorta online home base for myself. It let's me transfer photos easily, and I also have memory loss so it's really nice to have a place to go where I can see what I was doing/thinking at a certain time. Gunna ad some bots to make it even better, I reckon

As far as complexity/functionality goes , Dyno bot is on another level. Can't imagine the amount of effort that goes into the upkeep of that.

I use Maki for auto roles, leveled roles, moderation, react roles and stuff. Its pretty useful!
i prefer arcane instead of mee6 for levels because it also gives out rewards/roles automatically when you level up to a certain level.

Yes it can, but between the two, Pingcord has a nicer layout IMO and Pingcord was a little quicker and more accurate when posting title info. At least that's what I noticed.

XA-JJKILLERs Yeah but you need to pay to have more than 2 role possible... I basically need to install the other bots just for the reaction role bc Mee6 only gives you 2 roles which is not enough

Thanks so much! And to do what you're asking. Just create a role for the bots, set it to show up separately in the settings, and assign it to each bot.

I actually have most of those bots in the video, but I can't seem to find a method that allows me to automatically give points. I want to make an accountability/studying server that has a rewards and punishing system.
I want to make it so that once a user completes a task (for example, they post a goal) they get a point. However, if they fail to complete it within a time limit, then they lose points. If they are caught sending too many messages in the study chat while they are supposed to be working, they'll lose points, etc....
Did you ever find something like this?

hey man is there a way to show a countdown and a clock in your server settings? I want people to see what time it is in my timezone so that if I say "going live at ..." they don't have to convert that into their timezone, a countdown would be equally handy

Great video. I'm curious if you're using Pingcord to announce when you go live, what is YagPDB for then? In your video you also have Yag announce when people go live in a channel too.
i write 'how to get into currently steaming?' and nothings shows up but when i write 'currently streaming' it shows everything. how do i fix this?
maybe try "how do i get into currently streaming"
Make sure you select the setting that says it'll look for the term even if it's with other text. Should be one of the options when you're setting it up.

What I wonder is how you managed to have the Dyno bot not clash with the MEE6 bot. For example: Because I have the !pokemon command disabled on Dyno but enabled on MEE6, the Dyno bot shows a message in the chat displaying the !pokemon command is disabled before the MEE6 shows the output of the !pokemon command a second later... how to get around this?
