- Master bowhunter and elite athlete Cameron Hanes has successfully taken down some of the toughest game in the roughest environments nature has to offer, all in pursuit of becoming “the ultimate predator.” He’s the author of Backcountry Bowhunting: a Guide to the Wildside, and the host of the podcast Keep Hammering with Cameron Hanes.
Crazy it’s day 9 and only 500 have seen this, so far! Keep hammering
Cause it's a reupload
I’ve seen all these podcasts before, he most have dropped several oldies but goodies while on a vacation or something
@@jeffsharp2981 Haha that could be it.
Cameron Hanes is awesome.
Im here after reading his book Endure
I can’t read
Love you guys! Keep hammering!
This doesn’t show up on spotify.
Strangely I prefer moose or whitetail to elk. Maybe I need an Arizona bull elk. The fat strip, if any, are great when the outside is slightly crispy and the fat bursts out of it when consumed.
Hi, Phil Shoemaker here.
Good to see you, son.
What’s up with cams camo??? Is he back with under armor??
No Under Armour……this is a year and a half old
Cams wearing Under Armor 🤔
wow
Not many people have Joes drive or in bow hunting terms….arrogance/confidence. There’s a difference I understand…if you can make the shot, great, but outside of 30 yards for most, possibly 40 with Joes 90lb draw weight, ….that is no longer a 100% ethical shot. Not because he can’t knock it down but because the elk will react outside of 40yds almost every time dropping the hit zone or will begin to wheel around moving the hit zone. Especially if nervous. I know that Joe strives for perfection, and is an ethical guy, but outside of 40 there is risk you do not make an ethical shot imo. I’m 100% on this. I don’t care if your cranked up to 90lbs that elk is gonna move changing the hit zone 1 out of 2 times. You can be sure you can hit your mark, but to make sure you hit that mark, you need to be inside an ethical yardage to make sure arrow arrives before the animal has time to react. It’s extremely hard to separate the beast in us from the proper decision making.
I have seen Cam kill an elk from 70 with one arrow, Elk went down within 10 yards. Plenty of other examples in his videos and others. Not sure why you came here today to say what you did lol.
Just waffling bro....

I hate watching a video about hunting with people who can afford food. It hits different when"I'm leaving a cooler for everyone else who doesn't hunt." 100% hunter is making sure you have something to eat. Not a mature bull that's 13y old..
