he definitely is. the laughter often feels forced because he is laughing. i don't think he's a bad person on set or anything but this guy has so much influence and power in the industry, people will powder his ass whenever an opportunity presents itself. i'm pretty sure I would be exactly the same. either out of admiration or in the hopes of making a good impression.

A blue or green screen is mainly used for keying in computer generated imagery and artificial backgrounds. A white screen is something completely different, it is used to balance light and distribute it equally to make the film look better and more evenly lit
But nobody clearly explains that the "white screen" is not in frame - think of it as just another light, the source of which is never meant to be seen in the film.
