Well, I think this was one of my FAVOURITE VLOGS to participant in, edit and watch the final cut with the biggest smile!!!
This is a track review on the Fireblade. It's not massively technical as I didn't know I was going to be riding this bike!

OK OK, before the spec sticklers come for me... it's 201KG wet, not 101KG. Sometimes my factually correct research comes out of my mouth factually incorrect 😂 but yes, honda haven't developed any ground breaking weight saving tech to this level 🤣

That lap looked scary from my sofa, Christ knows what it was like on the back. I was amazed how close to the track the mirrors were getting on the corners. You did well to hold it together. Great day out.

I met John the other week at the TT launch, great bloke and very generous with his time, although I'm not sure if I'd of climbed on the back of him
That has made my evening, proper funny, the look on McGuiness face as you pulled in the pits 😂😂😂 he knew.

Great video Kate, this was a fun one to watch. I just picked up the 2023 30th Anniversary Fireblade and what an incredible bike! I would have waited for the 2024 but I had to have that 30th anniversary livery.

What a cracking video Kate, the build up laps at the start were great, learn the bike and the track before a full on hoon is always good advice. You rode really well. The pillion lap was a laugh out loud piece, your 'duck quack' vocabulary at certain 'moments' was inspired. I can't ride now but the closest I've come to this bike was a 2006 GSXR1000K6, the last of the long stroke Suzuki bikes with zero riding modes ABS, traction control or anything. That kicked out ~170 brake if I recall correctly and it was brutal. The engine was a work of art and the chassis was the best that I experienced ever. Handling was like you just thought it through the twisties and it just did it. You had to treat that bike with huge respect though as I imagine it could easily get you into a lot of trouble on the roads. I sold it because it was too addictive to go fast on the public highway. Many thanks for sharing. I love the content.

Firstly, well done Kate for handling 215 bhp on track, what a truly awesome bike, I think the track is most definitely the place to use that power, and remain reasonably safe, if you know what I mean. Being a Honda it will be ultra reliable and no doubt you can pootle around town on one, but on our roads you would really have to use lots of self control or end up either without a License or dead. What a weapon though. Thank you.
