I miss it too, but the new show is way better. Not just a random clip show.
The new show is ok, it’s just a random montage of universal attractions. It is lacking a proper universal fanfare, which cinematic spectacular would make guests cheer and get exited

Does this show need update? Universal Studios is more than 100 years old now. They should include footage from their newest gems such as Jurassic World, Kick-Ass, Sing and The Secret Life of Pets.
Agree. They should make it in sequences like World of Color and add newer franchises along with select classic favorites. I'm surprised they don't even have a Harry Potter sequence, given that the Wizarding World is there already :P
Harry Potter is not in this show because Universal doesn't own the franchise. This show is a tribute to their history, so it only features films that they produced.

They use The Last Starfighter theme but I don't see any clips of the movie.
100 years means 1 to 100
All I remember is that the fireworks were lunching from the Men in Black Building, Fear Factor Building, and The Simpsons ride building. It was a odd place but they don't have the same money as Disney dose.
Money is not the issue. They have plenty of money to do it. Space is the issue. Being that Universal is right in Orlando and the entire property and surrounding areas are developed, they don't have the space to have a full fireworks display. Also, there would be many complaints from people living literally right next door to Universal.

I don't think Universal seems to really care about having a full fireworks show, and the surrounding neighbors have complained in the past. They complained about hearing Dragon Challenge and they also complained about the construction noise from when they were building Volcano Bay.
They should move, like we did.

Cameron Sabel world of color duh! You're comparing a show with over 1000 fountains and fire to a show with a weird water machine, a screen, few fireworks and like 3 fountains XD. No competition.
This is from the back side of the park. There are way more fountains than just three. You're just not seeing the full display in this video. Either way, Disney's shows have always been better.

You know it's kinda Funny they've only Included Most of the Live Action Stuff (Horror, Drama, Comedy, Trimuph Good vs Evil and Heroes ) and Despicable Me (Everything Expect Balto, An American Tail, The Land Before Time We're Back a Dinosaur's Story and Thunderbirds 2004 (Which is pained and Hated by the Critics)
I think it’s a missed opportunity to include 100 years of animation for animated films by Universal, Dreamworks, and Illuminations.
Although Disney is still the creator animated movies in America.
Those were missing but they at least showed some Dragonheart even if it didn’t win that Visual Effects Oscar and its score got played there!

I think Universal really needs to start trying and stop just building things quickly for the sake of building things, this is such a blatant ripoff of World of Color but not nearly as good. WWOHP was a great addition and really unique but ever since then everything else they have added has sucked.
