  • Drugs like Wegovy and Ozempic are rapidly growing in popularity as weight-loss treatments. These medications contain semaglutide, a drug originally formulated to help people with diabetes control their blood sugar but also has shown to have a significant effect on appetite and is now also used for obesity. This video explains exactly how these drugs work in the body.

i am curious to know if the effect is more efficent? As I am having rybelsus, but it is hard to coontrol the absorption rate, not everytime is success, otherwise the apettide can not be controled. And rybelsus doesnt last for a whole day, if having early in the morning, there is risk the apettide back before dinner.

It works and yes you need to workout, eat and stay hydrated! If not you will end up in hospital probably so educate yourselves and ask you doctor questions. Do not just order online. Common sense.

I was taking it and it did bring my A1c down to 6.1. But I ended up in the hospital with Pancreatitis for 2 months and almost lost my life because my Pancreas went into a necrosis phase in other words it was dying. I now am a full blown diabetic taking insulin 3-4 times a day. So just be careful everyone It’s not a “MIRACLE DRUG”

I was taking .25 for 6 weeks. Then moved up to .50 (doctors suggestion) and was taking that for 6 months. After i got my A1c down to 6.1 I was just about to stop the treatments when it all of a sudden hit me.

@@larue126 months! It’s a cycle drug for weight loss. Which means you should only be on it at 6 weeks at a time. Any short term prescription drug is going to have bad effects. Literally every doctor I talked to said this.

@@uncivilizedracer Thats not why it was prescribed to me. It was prescribed to me by my doctors to bring down my A1c levels. Weight loss was not why. My A1c levels finally came down to where my doctor wanted them to be and I was about to get off off them. I have never heard of what you were saying about it being a cycle drug and 6 weeks limit. if i were using it for weight loss I would’ve done it differently, I dont know what “Doctors” you are talking to but I believe you’re misinformed. NOWHERE have I read or seen or been told by doctors that it should only be taken for 6 weeks at a time. Sorry dude I’m calling ya on that. Ozempic doesn’t even say that !

You realise some people have thyroid problems? And weight related disorders so losing wait is not easy for them people with thyroid metabolism is much slower therefore it dosent matter if they don't overeat they'll still gain weight basically you just look at every fat person and assume they eat a ton these are helpful for those people it also makes them more susceptible to the cold and more sluggish
