    For some reason, I have never been fond of remarriage. I knew that I only wanted to do it once. To God Almighty belongs all the glory for blessing me to feel this way. Currently my marriage is in turmoil, but I will not sin.

    Praise the Lord!!! The Lord convicted me of remarriage adultery almost 2 years ago. This is no game and so many are headed to the lake of fire if they do not repent and turn from it. My whole family and ‘husband’ at the time along with his family, turned on me. This was the hardest time of my life but it will be worth it one day! Some relationships have been restored but they still do not agree because of false doctrine. The Lord showed me a vision of hell and I was there with the man I was married to. Shout it from the rooftops my brother! I found this channel as I was searching for someone who believed as to what the Lord showed me. We all need to come against the attacks from the enemy towards our brother in Christ. We know who is greater but I also know the warefare that comes with it so I pray a hedge of protection around you my brother. We also need to pray that the Lord softens the hearts of all who are saveable in this sin. May this word and the truth go forth in a mighty way! 🙏🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼

    I wish people were thinking of themselves, and how hard it would be to get out of a second marriage they don’t belong in, would understand how hard it is for the children of the covenant. I wish that the so-called body of Christ and the churches would be really begin to repent on this matter, I see the destruction of this every day of my life and made my life work thank you for pointing to the absolute truth and I pray that this really reaches so many people and that genuine repentance comes I would love to see more and more covenant, marriages and families restored. I know that that is the heart of God.

    Having gone through a divorce due to infidelity myself (she has since remarried) God convinced me that a relationship I was pursuing was wrong and it dissolved before the end of 2021. I am glad that you have the courage to teach on this subject as many that believe it don't go the whole way and insist that those wrongfully remarried are to break things off; or somehow can ask God to forgive them and go on in it.

      What you prayed is more valuable than you realize at this time. I sensed the spirit strengthen me a few hours before this comment came in after I posted it elsewhere. Just spent several days being grilled over this issue from a pastor friend I was staying with out of state. My warnings over what he admitted were most of his congregation that I met who were remarried brought all sorts of character assassinations and comments on my being unloving prideful judgmental etc. Ironically o e guy separated is back with his wife and said he sensed the spirit was blocked in the church. He is also aware the end times are near. I'm praying he sees the truth and leaves or warns others. I will say to you what I was going to say to the other person be strong and courageous also thanks for fighting for my ex wife although she is remarried. You aren't alone..I'll keep you on prayer as well. Again after what I've gone through in what was an impromptu trip to.get things straightened out with my mom and dad to be forced to start looking at help for themselves actually worked out..certainly didn't plan on more stress. God bless I sensed many angels strengthen me in this time of spiritual war. Agape.

    I married a man who had a living covenant spouse. I was his 3rd wife. I thank GOD that adulterous marriage ended in divorce.
    I am now married to a man who has never been married before and I never knew for 5 yrs that my current husband is my covenant husband until early this year.
    I thought I was bound to my 1st husband until the LORD confirmed that I am not because that marriage was never lawful in HIS eyes.

  • @KatrinaTahar
    @KatrinaTahar Před 2 měsíci

    Some translations say "fornication", but this is clearly wrong. Fornication is forbidden *unmarried* sexual relations, which resulted in marriage [Exodus 22:16-17, Deuteronomy 22:28-29], unless the woman's father had reason to object to the marriage. I will note people usually read the passages I cited as rape, but this is not the case when you read just a few verses up [Deuteronomy 22:25-27], and also include the kidnapping prohibition [Exodus 21:6, Deuteronomy 24:7]; all of these (rape, kidnapping) resulted in the man dying, *not* marriage. Deuteronomy 22:28-29 is more "Romeo and Juliet".
    As for "sexual immorality", the Greek is porneia G4202, and it is only used a few times in Scripture, and only one time that is "interesting" in 1 Corinthians 5.
    Porneia G4202 is also used in the Septuagint, with most uses being focused in Ezekiel 16, 23 and Hosea... passages that deal directly with Israel doing the very things Yahuah/God told Israel He cast out the people prior for doing [Leviticus 18:24-30].

    • @KatrinaTahar
      @KatrinaTahar Před 2 měsíci

      To be clear, Shaul is not saying that *only* a man marrying his father's wife is sexual immorality, but it certainly is one of the many things. Leviticus 18/20 gives the full list. These are things for which Yahuah will *not* join two in marriage [Matthew 19:6, 1 Corinthians 7:10-11] as it is an unlawful marriage with an unlawful vow [Numbers 30].
      Thus, the man in 1 Corinthians 5 did precisely the exception; he divorced his father's wife so that he was no longer in sexual immorality, and assuming neither she nor he had any living prior lawful spouses, they were free to remarry without committing adultery.
      Another story may come to mind; Herod and Herodias [Matthew 14:3-4, Mark 6:17-18, Luke 3:19]. Yet, if Herodias had done the right thing and divorced, then she would have fallen under Deuteronomy 24:1-4 and not been able to remarry until Philip died, without being in adultery. Yet, she refused to do this, Herod refused to do this (at least until later), and both remained in sexual immorality *and adultery* (as both had been lawfully married prior).

      Hello,
      According to scripture he is certainly not free to find someone else. In Gods eyesight your both still married. The adultery committed only violated the marriage covenant but it did not terminate the covenant. Death of a spouse is the only thing that ends a Covenant Marriage. If he dates someone else or gets remarried, he would be in adultery.

  • @KatrinaTahar
    @KatrinaTahar Před 2 měsíci

    Mary having had sexual relations with another man would be adultery [Deuteronomy 22:23-24], and would result in _death_, not divorce.
    Rather, Joseph was willing to put Mary away (not divorce) so he could assess things and decide how to move forward. Yahweh sent a message to Joseph to move forward with marriage, as Mary was not unfaithful.
    The Pharisees claimed Yeshua was born of *porneia* (in the Greek)-not fornication! It would be married/betrothed adultery [Deuteronomy 22:23-24] which is indeed a type of porneia, but isn't fornication. It is sexual immorality, but not fornication.

      @FaithwarriorsofGod  Před 4 měsíci +3

    • @kfollowstheway138
      @kfollowstheway138 Před 4 měsíci

      Marriage in a covenant (2 joined for the first time in marriage) isn’t sin so Jesus’ blood doesn’t need to dissolve it or wash it away. It stands firm until death, choosing a worldly person is just a consequence of our choices made before we knew Jesus Christ. Same with a person who got in trouble for murdering someone, they got caught they repent after being born again, Jesus’ covers their sin it’s forgiven… they may still be in jail or serving a sentence for this crime done while in unbelief. Bad choices still follow us but we remain faithful. A covenant marriage can still be blessed though, you can win your spouse over and also can pray for their salvation while staying single if they abandoned you.

      1 Cor 7:9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
      Is there a contradiction here?
      No!
      Verse 11 is a woman being Divorced for fornication she committed before she married so after marriage he can divorce her.
      He can divorce her, not the spouse can divorce him or her, he can divorce her.

      Greetings in Jesus Name,
      The First Marriage in Gods eyesight is the valid one if the Spouse is still alive according to scripture. Romans 7:1-3. Death of a Spouse according to scripture ends the covenant marriage. In terms of getting a divorce, getting a divorce from the first Spouse according to the laws of the land say that the marriage has been dissolved or terminated but in God's eyes that covenant is still intact as long as the first Spouse still lives. This is a emotional topic and I'm not here to condemn anyone, I'm just speaking what the word of God says. It is God who we must all stand before and it is God who shall judge us by his Infallible written word.

    1 Corinthians 7:27 doesn't say anything about divorce or betrothal.
    Paul says a divorced woman is to remain single or reconcile [v10-11]. The word often translated as 'separate' or 'depart' is chorizo, and is the same Greek word used by Yeshua in Matthew 19:6 "what Yahweh has joined together, let no man put *asunder*"-which is divorce certificate + put away. So, yes, Paul does indeed speak of divorce. He also goes on in v39 to say marriage is until death.
    Christians will too often cherry pick what they want from Scripture. Some will dig for The Truth. Thus, translating porneia correctly does nto confuse people who don't want to know The Truth. Rather, translating things incorrectly supports confusion.
    Using Scripture to define Scripture, Paul uses porneia in 1 Corinthians 5 of another case which is not fornication. Using that passage as part of the definition, an honest person will find Yeshua's exception in Matthew doesn't support pretty much any first marriage, thus your point falls. However, many will gladly use 'fornication' as any sexual behavior, from looking at porn, to adultery, to talking with another woman as "justification", while sexual immorality is a bit clearer on what is not included. Fornication is singles, but people consider it to be any sexual sin, partly due to the KJV (etc) misapplying it. Meaning, the wrong word does far more harm than good.

    First of all divorce is allowed if it’s a biblical divorce. If your spouse committed adultery/sexual immorality and if you’re unbelieving spouse, decides to leave you. Paul said to that marriage therefore, if someone remarries, it’s not adultery or sin, again, if it’s a biblical divorce, read your Bible!

      Biblical divorce is only for what the wife did before the marriage in committing fornication
      There is no other reason to divorce other than that.

That would be detestable in the eyes of the Lord. Do not bring sin upon the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.

    Hosea 1:2-4 God said to Hosea to marry and adulterer...and after she commits adultery to take her back. How can God go against his word?
    So only some adulterers can you marry and some not? teaching scripture and not hearing Gods voice can cause you to interpret scripture incorrectly !

      God didn't tell Hosea to marry someone's wife. He said a woman of whoredoms, a harlot. Not an adulter.
