I, too, did not know that I was not bound to my ex husband because he has a living covenant spouse when he married me. I was wife #3 and he was my first man joined husband, not GOD joined.

Hey sister, You have it 100% correct. My husband was committing long term adultery, but God didn't let me divorce him and after he left and divorced me (26 years of marriage), I have been a eunuch for almost 18 years. It's pronounced YOU-nick. I have done over 780 videos about Jesus and the rapture and that divorce and remarriage is ongoing adultery. You did a good job on this, and I am going to add it to my playlist. It's important that we keep warning people to abstain from all forms of sexual immorality. Maranatha.

Agree! There is no biblical proof that King David divorced them.
However, we are not to be under the OT but under NT, where Christ has clearly given us a commandment in Matt 19:4-6 reinforcing the original purpose of Eloheim concerning marriage between a man and woman as one flesh in Gen 2:24.
The Apostle Paul picked up the teaching of Jesus by warning us of adultery in 1 Cor 7:39 and Rom 7:1-3.

Interesting take and true in regard to the hypocritical attitude of churches on PROPER divorces and remarriages. As to those wrongly remarried just got done with a lengthy talk with a church elder after I brought up the subject with the Pastor and Deacon as to such a person taking communion (as well as someone living with a woman for a long time). Although the Pastor agrees at least with a Christian not remarrying (which was my viewpoint) he along with others that preach the correct doctrine won't enforce it for church members. The attitude is asking God for forgiveness and continuing on in the adulterous marriage.
Formerly I was in a PRC denomination a small branch of Reformed churches only in certain parts of the country (not where I currently live) that holds to the proper viewpoint on this subject. You literally cannot find churches today that preach it other than this one I mentioned as far as I can tell from my search; a few pastors I have found such as David Pawson are either deceased or the sermons were from many years ago.
Let's face it we aren't going to be very popular with this viewpoint; as you know what happened to John the Baptist. The church at large who does preach truth often speaks against homosexuality and fornication but won't touch this issue because they either on't want persecution or loss of revenue from offerings. This is what has caused a premature decline and lack of revival I am convinced because there is the spirit of demonic curses over a congregation. I couldn't convince anyone of what God has shown me on the subject just glad getting out of my own relationship after my divorce that was leading me down a path to destruction. I tell people just look at the TV shows on murders and how many are involved with remarriage and other adulteries but that in particular. I am convinced statistics aren't entirely honest on the detrimental affects of remarriage; an unbiased study would be quite revealing I am sure. I've seen the fruit of it; bitterness and anger; and a sort of blind drunken stupor that comes over people in those situations.
I suggest walking with the Spirit always for someone who has been in this situation and even warned the churches. You can find her on You Tube. It would be nice to see more men who have had this realization as well but it is often women; although my own church has several people in my situation after divorce that have done the right thing and not remarried.

Mat 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
One cannot put away a spouse, its only for fornication. But if one puts away a spouse other than fornication and marry another, definitely commits adultery..
This is the only exception clause for re-marriege, but only for the innocent party. But the innocent party cannot re-marry/nor marry someone that was put away for fornication or else the innocent party commits adultery..

@@casseophealejarde-khaizen I understand cause everyone uses the betrothal argument.

It implies that the person who offended is considered married or GOD JESUS wouldn’t have said adultery whoever marries the offender.
It’s plain and simple, GOD JESUS could’ve said whoever marries the offender commits fornication, but instead HE uses “adultery”

I was a lust addicted man who lost my family because of spiritual adultery. I am now in a 12-step recovery group where I have seen recovery and victory over lust...as long as I remain permanently unmarried and celibate. Another thing people need to understand is that although some want to say that it was not “God ordained” are they also saying that they are not Gods child(ren)?
Could it be that God has IN FACT ordain all 1st marriages because God knows that many are led astray and the #1 goal is to bring all of God’s children BACK TO CHRIST?
If adultery were in fact the case, then David would have not sent his people to Kill Uriah (Bathsheba’s husband). They could have just divorced and Bathsheba marry David 🙃

In the Old Testament, a man would go in to the woman, and that is an acknowledgment of their marriage.
Traditionally, when a man and a woman who has never been married before make a vow before GOD with witnesses is when they are married. In modern day, we call this wedding ceremony. This is where the marriage is official, where you can then go to court to file the marriage certificate that took place. Though the ceremony is not documented in the Bible, but a wedding feast is supported.
If you remember, in the Bible, there was a wedding feast where Jesus performed a miracle to turn the water into wine.

Dear sister in Christ, I have a question. According to the scripture, it appears that the betrothal or engagement period is considered binding and can only be dissolved if the woman is unchaste during this time or if evidence of unchastity is found on her wedding night. If that is correct, is it not permitted to marry someone who was previously engaged, and the engagement ended without a biblical reason?

@@casseophealejarde-khaizen This question is based on the scripture Matt 5:32. @authorGinaGeorge I see your point now. The permission for divorce during the bethrotal period in Jewish culture is if the man finds out that the woman is cheating like what Joseph suspected of Mary.
I don't know right now who else is following this because what I see often now is that people do not wait after marriage to have sexual intercourse.

    • @authorGinaGeorge

@@casseophealejarde-khaizen Yes, I understand and I know this isn't followed anymore but maybe that's what the exception clause in Matthew is referring to? It could be referring to that Jewish tradition as the only time it is permitted to divorce. I believe that back then, engagements were more binding and you were considered de facto spouses at the time of engagement so you could not "divorce" your finance unless she cheated on you.

The reason why so many, who call themselves Christians will be left behind when the Rapture occurs is because they don't believe that Jesus Christ is God. In effect, they don't believe that the Lord Jesus Christ and the I AM, Who spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai, giving him the ten commandments, are one and the same person! They will argue that if Jesus Christ is God Who was He praying to when He was here on earth? And Who said to Him “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”[Matt.3:17]
They fail to comprehend that God is Omnipresent. Which means that even though He's One Person, He's able to be in TWO different places at the same time! This is why when we worship the Lord Jesus Christ, as the only God of heaven and earth, we're automatically worshipping the Everlasting Father at the same time. Everyone who believes that Jesus Christ is God has eternal life. Those who seek to worship the Father as a separate entity, apart from Jesus Christ, do not believe that Jesus Christ is God and therefor do NOT have eternal life in them, they're still spiritually dead! The evidence that we have eternal life is that we have the ability to love our spouses until death. The fact that so many so called Christians have divorced their covenant spouses, and are practising adultery with other people, indicates many do NOT believe that Jesus Christ is God. “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”[Mark 10:11,12]
For eternal life, which is the love of God, that only originates from the Lord Jesus Christ, is NOT in them. "...the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." [Rom.5:5] "We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death." [1 John 3:14]
A man who loves his brother in Christ will not marry a woman who already has a covenant husband. If he does he still abides in death. A woman who loves her sister in Christ will not marry a man who all ready has a covenant wife. If she does she still abides in death. This is the adultery that is rampant in the Church today and indicates that millions of so called Christians do not believe that Jesus Christ is God. Such people will be left behind when the Rapture occurs on the 8th of April 2024. The Holy Spirit is only received by those who believe that Jesus Christ is the One and only God of heaven and earth. He's the First and the Last, the Alpha and Omega. Repent from adultery, believe that Jesus Christ is God and let the Lord Jesus Christ find you ready to meet Him in the skies!!!

Something else I just thought of... we're told to go forth and multiply. If a young woman's first husband leaves her during childbearing years - she's not able to go forth and multiply if your sick and twisted idea of no remarriage was true. Which it is not. Imagine being left in the early years of marriage and being 19 or 20 years old. You want to believe that YOUR FATHER would force this woman into a life of aloneness for the next 60 or 70 years? Is that realistic? I know my earthly father wouldn't do that to me and I can't for the life of me understand why so many women think that their heavenly Father would do that to them. WAKE UP! Be part of cleaning up the mess. Don't let MAN turn you into a liar! Don't get off on the ego trip that comes with being such a perfect Christian that you can come on social media and condemn everyone who doesn't meet the standard that you were trained to believe in. Then they tell who paid them to murder the husband... and let's say you hear your name during this new story. Turns out the woman was so addicted to religion while listening to you that she only saw one way out and that was to ensure the death of her husband so that she could move on with life. Would you feel any guilt at all for causing that woman to be so hopeless that she had her husband murdered to get out of the marriage? Would you have any guilt at all? No? Okay, let's spin this - since you love doing that - let's play word salad. What if? What if because you allowed man to make you switch the word separation for divorce and that completely changes the meaning of the verse. What if the word separation is logical and agrees with the laws in place today as well as during ancient times? What if you had taught the truth - would that woman still have murdered her husband? NO - because she would not feel hopeless, she would not be in bondage. Instead, she would feel as if she had a life. God does not take life from us - that should be your FIRST CLUE that you've got it wrong! God does not want spouses sitting around daydreaming about the deaths of their spouses so that they can live a free life. There's your next clue!

Are you aware that when Paul was speaking to the Corinthians he was stating that BECAUSE OF WHAT WAS GOING ON AT THE TIME - that marriage was not a good idea because it would be safer if each individual was responsible for only themselves - not themselves PLUS a spouse! You can use all the word salads you want but you need to drop the religion. The very least you can do is read a Bible created before the KJV while simultaneously reading the KJV. Then? You may learn how to preach or whatever it is you're doing.

I lovingly want to tell you that if it is not written in the Bible, I consider it not done. The Word of GOD is important to measure truth vs men's ideology and that is why I gave you Bible verses and so it did not come from my mouth but by the mouth of GOD.
I hate man made religion, but the only religion I hold on to is what is stated in ‭James 1:27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Why do you think we have verses that describe what will happen to those who manipulate the Bible? Duh - it's because the Bible has been manipulated in subtle ways. According to RELIGION - your husband can decide that he's done with you. After he's made sure that the two of you have spent your dowry and there is none left. He can have your fool tail stoned to death just by getting a couple of buddies to lie. So then guess what? You're dead and he's free to remarry right? According to your RELIGION! You cannot switch out words just to suit your own understanding. That's called ego tripping! The words PUT AWAY do not mean divorce

Thank you for your message. You rightfully say that we were separated from Jesus since birth until we genuinely confess and repent from our sins and place our faith in Yahshuah!
You are also correct not to divorce as the covenant marriage only ends in death.

Here is what Paul said in ‭1 Corinthians 7:10-11 KJV‬
[10] And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: [11] but and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
It should be our goal to marry believers but when one is converted as a Christian and the other is not, we cannot divorce our unbelieving spouse. Hope this clarifies things.

Keep going..does it also say not to be unequally yoked..for where is righteous with unrighteousness....and if they depart let them go a brother or sister is no longer bound...remember preach repentance to all..

@@robertstutler6229 yes, you are correct that if the unbelieving departs, let them but the one who is left behind and the one who left should remain unmarried or be reconciled back.
As I mentioned, the goal for a believer is to marry a believer so they are equally yoked. Also, we must pray for our spouse ahead and that GOD is in the middle of the marriage. Thank you for your comment.
      ‭1 Corinthians 7:13-16 KJV‬
[13] And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. [14] For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. [15] But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.
