      Be an additional wife
Be a wife that hopes for reconciliation of the previous wives
It's not adultery to marry a divorced husband
It's adultery to cause the previous wife to be in adultery
If your not condemning reconciliation of the first wife then your not causing her to commit adultery
Be a new wife without restraining reconciliation of the first wife

      Not everyone can reconcile.
I married a divorced woman whom claimed violent abuse from her first husband. Little did I realise the danger that divorce can inculcate in the mind in that "once divorced" it is "easier to divorce again." Thus 5 years into marriage she walked out after meeting another man. In my case I tried to reconcile for about 3 years until I realised I just had to cut loose as it was psychologically wrecking me. She finally divorced me and married someone else.
A one size fits all approach to marriage/divorce/remarriage becomes a form of legalism. Divorce is out of the question between two genuine Christian's. Yet there is also new life in Christ in which the old is past away and ALL THINGS are made new.
We will all stand before God and be judged according to our deeds done in faith. Faith works by love and love works no ill.
Thus if I encounter remarried people whom have truly come to the Lord I don't condemn them. Divorce and remarriage is not the inforgivable sin, ongoing iniquity is. Not every circumstance is the same.

Few years ago, The Lord talked straight to me and thru His Word He showed me that I was an adulteress b/c I was with a married/divorced man. He Himself sat next to me and as I just turned the pages of the Bible they landed on all the verses He spoke about this issue. I cried of happiness because I finally understood why he treated me the way he did. All the hurt and resentment against him went away. I cried and repented onto The Lord . I couldn’t believe how blind I was not to see it before I marry him. How come non of my pastors and leaders saw it!

I am SO pleased to see that more videos about this topic are being put out there. In this day and age, most people are ignorant of this truth, and are remarried; living in adultery. Many of which are professing Christians who believe they will be welcomed into the kingdom. Truthfully, the reason they are ignorant of this truth is because they are not faithful in reading the Bible, and learning of Jesus and His teachings and commandments.

In 2013, a couple months after my mom died in my arms, my wife headed ungodly council and left me (via email) and it's been a nightmare ever since.
Neither of us are flawless and perfect, but nothing could have prepared me - even as a councilor and aid in biblical things - and here I am, almost 4 years later, still wearing my ring and praying DAILY (imagine coming before the Lord EVERY SINGLE DAY for almost 4 years....)
I cast myself at Christ's feet for any faults and failures that I am guilty of, and I seek total restoration....
I was broken, weak and lost - But God's amazing grace and mercy abounds for those that know and love Him.
I am daily hoping that somehow my precious wife is lead to restoration and healing and, above all, forgiveness.
Please pray for her - Faith (beautiful name) - That she rebels against this world's council and evil desires and returns to our marriage!
I want to be a Father, a Husband and a man of God with a woman by my side serving the Lord together!

Yet these Scriptures are ignored today in almost all teachings because it is the cancer of society and no one wants to hear this because they are condemned by their own life. As a pastor you are following Jesus and a true disciple for teaching the truth as so many are going to hell because they are in adultery and do not realize it. (Rev. 21:8; Gal. 5:19-21; 1 Cor. 6:9). Unfortunately it is not being taught and no one is reading the Bible. God bless you!

Josh Perry Matthew 5:32; “But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except fornication causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery.” These are the words of Jesus. Romans 7:2-3 “For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress;”. Pretty clear it applies to “any person “ who remarries with a living spouse.

Josh Perry in Genesis we are told God created Adam and Eve and they became one flesh. What God joined together we cannot separate. In Genesis 2:24 the word “they” refers to “the two” (Matthew19:5-6). This is the beginning of one man/one woman as the standard for the creation of marriage. The Bible was not given to the people all at once but was a compilation of 66 books given to mankind over a 1500+ year time period. We are told in Acts 17:30 that at a time God winked at the sins of mankind, He understood we are but dust. Psalm 103:14. But, now that the Bible has all been completed we are held accountable for all the knowledge we have been given. Matthew 12:36; Romans 14:12. Jesus came and taught in 1 Cor. 7:4-6 that marriage is to be one man, one woman until death. His disciples taught this as well. Anything else is adultery. We will all stand before the real Judge on the final day. We have the free will given to us to choose the world’s way or the way of the Lord. (James 4:4) and we will all be judged according to the choice we make. I choose Jesus. (John 14:15; John 15:14). Blessings.

Yeshua said that it is wrong unless adultery is committed. So that being said if the husband divorces his wife and throws her out for another woman, the woman who was thrown out having not committed adultery and divorced can remarry. Likewise a husband who divorces his wife because she committed adultery can remarry. That’s how I’ve come to understand it. Outside of adultery there is no excuse. Furthermore the offending spouse can’t remarry as far as I’ve gathered. Because they were the ones to break the covenant.

@@jauntycommander1065This is not true. I walk with Yeshua and keep Feasts etc. He very clearly showed me that Joseph was going to divorce Mary(Miriam) when she was pregnant with Yeshua. How could they divorce.... Because Matthew is written to the Jews. It begins with Yeshua's genealogy to prove Him as Messiah. The betrothal period was legally binding at the time Yeshua was born. Yeshua was speaking about divorcing during the betrothal period which is our engagement period. That's why the "exception clause" is not mentioned in the other Gospels. Paul himself states that a wife is bound to her husband as long as he is alive. My husband left and began a family with someone else and Yeshua made it clear that I was to remain single while my husband was alive. Paul actually says.... To those who KNOW the law .... You should read those scriptures, especially if you are aware of Torah. ❤ Shalom, I pray He reveals His truth to you ❤

Tough words to bare? Maybe, but when Jesus spoke regarding many things, crowds of persons left because they felt His words weren't "acceptable" in one instance Jesus saw that what He said had made the crowds depart from Him (yes even after many miracles and might signs) He turned to His disciples and said "aren't you going to leave too?" Then Peter said "where will we go Lord? Only you have the words of eternal life. Such are those who truely believe God's word and regardless of how culturally offensive it may be, we know that Only Jesus has the words of true Life; I'm not concerned (nor should you be) about opinions, rather the truth is my concern, Jesus said He came to testify to the truth .. and that's what is important, not if we like it , not if it seems reasonable ..but is it true? Upon hearing the words of Jesus in recorded by Matthews witness of the gospel Peter said "then it's better none of us take a wife" after Jesus expressed that not all are given this gift to remain celibate, further Jesus explains the measures that some took to be celibate and others were born with. No part of the new testament speaks on remarriage in the context of being blessed nor prescribed after a divorce, the times it is mentioned it takes on the context of adultery in romans7 and cor7 both passages say that if while your spouse is still alive and you marry another this is adultery .. No exception, further in cor7, Paul says "not I but the Lord says " note, This isn't a command of Paul but the Lord, that if a woman sperated from her husband she must remain single or unmarried or be reconciled back to Him. Of course these words seem harsh to a western generation we aren't used to anything telling us to remain faithful to the faithless, yet God does so to us in the face of our faithlessNess. God isn't making us happy..by conforming His commands to our natural sinful state ..rather God is making Us holy and transforming us to enjoy the things that aren't of this world ..by this we will have joy that surpasses temporal happiness.

hello Jeffrey, it's Scott Schones. may God richly bless you with spiritual insight and understanding. I had a question. would you attend a church that sanctioned homosexual "marriages" and taught that as long as homosexuals acknowledged their past sin, that they could continue living "married" within the congregation? If you would attend that church and view yourself as a member of it, then I am afraid you would get leavened greatly and be yoking together with unbelievers. if you would not attend that church, then you, like me, would be lovingly standing for righteousness and allowing God to define what a marriage is and not the culture around you. If the man's first wife was his lawful wife, meaning it was her first marriage as well as his first marriage, then that is a binding-till-death marriage in God's eyes. It is not a matter of 'she can leave him if she wants'. It is a matter of SHE MUST LEAVE HIM. She lives in adultery by being with him. She must divorce from that adultery. She is then afterward eligible to enter "lawful" marriage. She can marry lawfully since she has not yet entered lawful marriage.

AJ Louviere no those verses are gender specific. Your fooling yourself. The Law and prophets and all scriptures are gender specific and God commands patriarchy and even allows men to have new wives for such a time as this
Jesus said it’s adultery to marry other men’s wives and that’s gender specific and that’s what the whole bible defines adultery
Defiling a wife with another man
Wether Hebrew or Christian the biblical definition of adultery is of a wife
Yes men can be stoned for adultery
But not because he’s a husband but for defiling another mans wife
Because a wife is transformed by her husbands seed and diverse seed in her is what God calls blood touching blood
Men have always had multiple marriages
God allows that for a good reason
Sure men will use this liberty selfishly
      But people are evil
      But some are righteous
      And men need a wife
      Woman was made for man

Why didn't Noah have a few wives? Hagar was never Abraham's wife, but look at the trouble that caused. There are zero scriptures that allow polygamy. Why does the scriptures say that a bishop is to be the husband of one wife? That is firmly against polygamy.

Hi brother Scott, I have a serious question and I've been convicted in many ways! If you were engaged (betrothed) can you break it off and marry someone else? Or do you have to try and reconcile to the espoused person you committed to be with and go and get a marriage license? Or do I stay in my marriage that I'm in now. God talks about in 2 Corinthians 11:2 about being betrothed to one husband. Is that the same thing as a man and woman being betrothed to one another? What I'm saying is I was betroth, engaged to one man, had two children with him left because we didn't have a marriage license and as time went on I found a godly man and we married and now we have a daughter together. My other two daughters are with me and I consider us all a family but at the same time I can't seem to feel at peace about this scripture.

Keep the children but get out of the trap of remarriage and devote your life to God in Christ and you will be forgiven. But if you and your current husband have never been married prior, then you have a one-flesh marriage covenant with him. I hope this helps your understanding.

Since you know the Scripture, and you don't have peace, that is the Holy Spirit convicting you that your first relationship didn't have paperwork, but you were in a loving, committed relationship that produced children. During the engagement you were living together and making babies? The virgins who are betrothed can end the engagement. Back in Bible days they didn't have paperwork, they had made a commitment to live as a union until death. The Jewish marriage began at the betrothal and wasn't consummated until around a year later. I don't know what you have done over these last three years since you commented, but please fear the Lord, and get out of the bed with this man too since you are in danger of being judged since Hebrews 13:4 says God will judge fornicators (sex before marriage) and adulterers. Jesus is coming for those who are sexually pure- 1 Thessalonians 4- so the Holy Spirit is going to have to give you true peace that this marriage you are now in is not adultery. I haven't had sex since 2006, and the joy of the Lord is my strength. I have a playlist of over 200 videos about this subject if you want to check it out. True repentance is ending the adultery.

It's because a woman wants to be the only wife that men created what God acknowledged in Deut 24:1-4
Causing a wife to be defiled and an abomination in reconciliation is the only reason for mans invention of divorce law

The reason she is not stoned is that the husband *forced* her to a 2nd marriage by depriving her of his covenant protection by divorce, leaving her defenseless otherwise if she can't find a new husband. Consider the Deut 22:28 situation, and consider that the hebrew word "Taphas" does not mean rape if that is what your version says. Deut 24 begins by saying "When a man takes a wife (erusin-betrothal) and marries her (nissuin-Seven blessings), so betrothal is considered part of the marriage. If the woman in Deut 22 gets seduced and lays with a man, and he leaves, if she then gets betrothed, and during the first couple months of betrothal starts showing a pregnancy, she is commanded by law to marry that first man. Moreover, in Chap 23, it states that an illegitimate child shall not enter into the assembly of YHWH, or his descendants for 10 generations. The woman is commanded to be with that first man, and Deut 24 adds that even after death she wouldn't be able to return to her betrothed. It is the only case where a woman is shown in the law she can be remarried, because she marries the first in betrothal, but then needs to be divorced from the betrothed husband, and be married, by the commandment of the law, to the first man.

  • @warneachothereverydayheb.3406

Well said! I too realized that if two men or two women "yoked themselves in matrimony" and then adopted or had surrogate children, they too would have to abort their marriage if either one of them came to the knowledge of the Truth. It's no different with a second marriage with children. It is for the sake of the salvation of the 2nd spouse (and the children, not to be caught in the lie of the sin, and perhaps decide it is okay for them to commit adultery in like manner) that the 2nd or subsequent marriage must be annulled. If you are in a 2nd marriage, do you not care about the soul of your partner in sin? If you don't care about your own soul on judgment day, what about their's and what about the millstone that will be hung around your neck as Jesus said for causing these ( children) little ones to stumble?! @@kfollowstheway138 Porneia and moicheia both refer to immorality. Porneia is porn. Porn refers to immorality, regardless of marital status. Pornography does not require that the immoral practitioners be unmarried (nor married). Both unmarried and married participants engage in the sin of pornography. Moicheia is a more specific term, referring to a violation of marital vows made between a couple. You have no license whatsoever to add the term "betrothal" to the scriptures in either Matthew 5:32 or 19:9 and change the meaning and intent of the exceptions, when Jesus clearly never used the term "betrothal." This is a salvation matter, and for a salvation matter, if Jesus meant only "betrothal," He would have so indicated. Rather, Jesus clearly said the term "wife" instead of "betrothed," to clear up the confusion for people like yourself, who are unclear on what "porneia" really means, which is porn and immorality.

  • @isallremarriageadultery7275

What was divorce under Moses? That was the context of what the Pharisees were asking Jesus. Divorce was one thing under Moses. And adultery was another. They were not connected therefore when Jesus spoke of divorce it was only the putting away 'with hard hearts, which was divorce. The innocent spouse who was the victim of adultery was NOT considered to have a heart hard because the marriage was severed by adultery. Two separate issues. We must rightly divide or else we end up with destructive doctrines.

    • @ajlouviere202
      @ajlouviere202 Před 4 lety +3

In Matthew 5:32, Jesus clearly states, the husband who is divorcing his wife "causes her to commit adultery and whosoever marries her that is divorced commits adultery." When you look at the verse the exception is for "fornication" which is clearly a seperate offense than adultery. We know she is not guilty of fornication because if she were, by the law, she would have been stoned according to Deuteronomy 22:13-21. Therefore the only way she could be caused to commit adultery is against the one-flesh covenant of marriage which only happened through consummation on the wedding and required the shedding of blood (tokens of virginity) to prove they are now one-flesh. Fornication could only occur before or during the betrothal (engagement) period between unmarried persons. The context of the wife in Matthew 5:32 is that she had consummated her vows into one-flesh with her husband and would be caused to commit adultery against him if she were to enter into another marriage and whosoever marries her that is divorced also commits adultery.

The publican however would not even lift up his eyes towards heaven , but smote upon his chest saying ,"lord have mercy on me a sinner.". I tell you this man and not the other went home justified. Why is this so , because all men have sinned and all have fallen short , it is by his mercies alone that we are saved. where else can a adulterer go. but to fall before the Lord and call upon his mercy. Truly Yeshua came to fulfill the law and not to abolish it. but always remember that He loves obedience and more than sacrifice and that mercy will triumph over judgement. surely my son Vincent is no more a bastard than King Solomon of old.Yes, Yeshua will always tell the sinner go and sin no more but follow me and would not condone adultery yet neither will he disallow his kingdom to a person whose life can not be fixed by anything less than the supernatural atonement of His shed blood. Yeshua alone is the lawgiver and thus He alone is its judge. How can a mans righteousness exceed the law? it is both impossible and yet simple. If one marriage partner commits adultery of has sex with someone outside of marriage then the marriage covenant is broken. The other innocent person is not required to take their adulterous partner back. The marriage is over. They could forgive them but it is not a requirement otherwise an adulterous partner could have numerous affairs outside of marriage and still say we are still married so I have a right to live with you and you have to support me.

@@benjaminbird2772 the scripture is clearly speaking against annulments of any covenant and that to me includes one-flesh marriage covenants.

How can these early church fathers be counted on for anything. Just because they are close to the age of the apostles doesn't mean anything. Paul was dealing with apostasy within his own churches...how much more after the death of the last apostle.
Nevertheless, let the dirty remarriers burn and let those who are divorced by their spouses be like Origen and cut off their privates.
God truly isn't very merciful if he allows the innocent party to be forced into a life of celibacy.
The Christ and bride Church analogy doesnt work for me.., Christ gets to chuck the unrepentant in hell....we just have to endure it and take the abuse.
I now firmly believe God is hard taskmaster who doesn't care about the welfare of most people.

Emmy Cave people mistakingly believe that sex is their fundamental right given to them by God. That is not the truth. The truth about sex is that it is for procreation, and expression of love between those who have come together as one-flesh in a covenant of marriage. A marriage covenant is between a man and a woman who were never married before making a pledge before witnesses followed by sexual consummation. All who treat sex as a right outside of a one-flesh covenant of marriage will be judged as adulterers (married or divorced), or fornicators (never before married), and not inherit the kingdom of God.

ALL...sins will be forgiven.....(Excpet Blasphmey of the Holy Spirit and this is not that ) ... This sin is no different than any other sins Christians commit daily ----- The Bible gives two clear grounds for divorce: (1) sexual immorality (Matthew 5:32; 19:9) and (2) abandonment by an unbeliever (1 Corinthians 7:15). Even in these two instances, though, divorce is not required or even encouraged. The most that can be said is that sexual immorality and abandonment are grounds (an allowance) for divorce. Confession, forgiveness, reconciliation, and restoration are always the first steps. Divorce should only be viewed as a last resort.

"Sexual immorality" is the term used out of the corrupt Bibles. Get into the real Bible. The KJV. You can never repent until you come out of that sin. Name me another sin you can just say sorry, and continue in??? Would you stay in a homosexual marriage after your repented??? Would you steal a car, and then get saved a week later. And continue to drive the stolen car?????? WAKE UP!!!!!!!!! UR DECEIVED!!!!!!!
