    You get a B+! It would have been an A+ but the stereo at the dock,,,,,, nope. A simple courtesy is to keep it of or very low so anyone needing to communicate can safely, and not everyone will like your choice in music the same as they don’t like mine (hard rock or 80s metal,,,,, I know,,,,,).
    I like hearing you explain how to do things. It’s very easy to understand. You did a great job dealing with the wind as well. I have a 20 foot Fishing Barge DLX. It’s a nice boat, but a little big for some of the lakes I fish. I just make sure I don’t crowd out the small single person inflatable pontoons and boats similar in size that are popular on those lakes. Often I have my own small inflatable out there, Sea Eagle 285 FPB, so I know what it’s like when a bigger boat just muscles in. I do wait for the guys that are bullies on the water at the dock when they return though. Teach them what it’s like to deal with a bully and move on. Hopefully they don’t do it to others in the future. Something tells me you would be a good boater on the water though and never crowd someone just to get their fishing spot.
    I’m actually serious though, there are guys in my are that think because they have a bigger boat and a bunch of friends, they can do it. They forget that I may be on a single person boat, but there are anywhere from 4 - 12 people in our group. Haha.
    Please stay safe, Eh!

    Great video sir! I have a question though, the title says "without a dock" but there was a ramp and a dock in the video. I am sure it is a terminology thing that I am clueless about . What do you mean without a dock? Subscribed :)

    • @lifewiththedonersons
      @lifewiththedonersons  Před 3 lety

      There is no ramp and dock combination.. most boat ramps have a dock beside them that when you launch the boat you have the dock to use to help retrieve the boat.. at the ramp I sue there is no dock to use to retrieve the boat. Either you have someone with you or you use a rope to retrieve the boat in to you. Great question though!

We have a damn that most people fish close to to catch big cats and stripe bass and I wonder if this small craft will be okay in such strong currents?

      It’s like a parachute in heavy wind and current honestly unless you have a trolling motor above 75lb thrust and be using a anchor to stay in place.. but if the wind isn’t too bad you shall be fine
