I'm 43 & been thinking of getting a Hair transplant for quite a few years. I have plenty of hair for someone my age but just the Temple area has Receded into a Norwood 2. The problem is I have a Cowlick at the front of my Temples & I'm extra scared to have a Hair transplant due to this Reason of a Cowlick.

Does the software account for hair thickness? Wouldn't someone with thicker hair be able to get away with fewer grafts in the same area than someone with finer hair?

100% having an egg head like me is a good thing for hair transplants 😅
Smaller donor area too though. But yeah cheaper cost I suppose
I mean he’s getting the front section of his head transplanted so even if he lost hair behind the transplant- he’d still have full facial framing. But look at the rest of that hair. Nice and thick, as long as he’s on medication and keeps an eye on things he’ll be fine. Plus he’ll still have grafts in the reserves.

What's the difference between Dr. Pittella and Dr. Zarev's softwares?
Dr. Zarev is on another level!
I think the approach is similar. Dr. Zarev does a quantitative assessment. It’s data driven based on numbers, except he also uses a special punch. That said, they’re both approaching hair restoration using quantitative data.
