If Vert ever becomes mainstream, you should get a $100 for every HT made using it worldwide, indefinitely.

Melvin you are here the game changer! Whitout you this would take years to complete, as there are no labs interested after the patent expired

I'm really trying. I will attend the ISHRS conference this year to get more surgeons on board. You can help by spreading the word and sharing this video and others on places like Tressless or other hair loss research forums.

I just watched the entire podcast. Dr Miln seems like a decent guy. I agree with pretty much everything he said. I am still in favor of FUT for some situations, certainly for women, but also for some guys who keep some length to heir hair and can't imagine themselves ever shaving. Some of those guys are put off from getting a HT simply because of the idea of shaving their head for it. As for doing procedures on young guys I do think it's a case by case basis and getting them to understand the risks. I don't think just telling young men under 25 with a lot of hair loss to just suck it up and stay like that for a few years is the right approach especially when you are doing hair transplants for everyone else with less hair loss. These young guys are already depressed. Telling them basically every other guy can have a HT except for you isn't helping them. There's a big difference though for young guys who hardly have any loss at all and want a HT. Those guys need to be held off from surgery. As for verteporfin I hope it turns out well, but I haven't really been personally interested very much because while it's possible it may increase hairs where there were scars I see it as creating hairs that would have ben there and not creating improved hairs. What I mean is my own entire donor zone is extremely miniaturized and thinning. I see verteporfin as only creating new hairs that would be the same miniaturized hairs which wouldn't help. Maybe I'm wrong there, but that's my understanding. So that wouldn't help any men with DUPA or naturally thinning donor area. I think people who say wait for verteporfin to those guys isn't helping them... but maybe I'm wrong about the hair it would grow, but that's my feeling.
    Great podcast Melvin.

At NW5 with thin hair I don't think it will be possible for me to get a good series of HT without verteporfin. I have tried finasteride and oral minoxidil without good results. I wish I had been given dutasteride instead of finasteride. Not sure if GT20029 can help once the hair is miniaturized, but it seems like it will eventually make Fin and Dut obsolete.
