    You were right about this city being full of history 😊 I love that you are in the university cafeteria. Sounds like that library is definitely worth visiting in person.

    The train also takes you to the city centre. You just need to change trains at Coimbra B station (that's included on your ticket).

    • @LucasWorldTravel
      @LucasWorldTravel  Před měsícem

      We thought that too, but couldn't figure it out once we arrived at the train station. We asked and everyone said there was no train to go any further. Perhaps that info was lost in translation though.

      @PAULOSOUSADIAS Před měsícem

      @@LucasWorldTravel you need to change to the suburban train, and it is only one stop (or about 5 minutes) to Coimbra Station. It beats taking a taxi. Sadly, Coimbra Station is scheduled to be closed down soon, for whatever reason, but for now you can still use it. What people told you was that your train wouldn't go any further, which was true, but the rest was just lost in translation...

    Do you know if the train stations in Aveiro and Coimbra have luggage storage services? I'm planning to visit Portugal in April and would have a similar itinerary like you going from North to South. I would hate to be taking trips south from Porto then back to Porto with the intent on going south again to Lisbon. Would want to just continue from Coimbra to Lisbon.

    • @LucasWorldTravel
      @LucasWorldTravel  Před 3 měsíci +1

      These are the stations that have lockers. www.cp.pt/passageiros/en/how-to-travel/Useful-information/luggage-lockers. Otherwise you can use the Bounce app to find places that have luggage storage.
