Cool video. It’s sad that a guy that championed equality could still have people going at him for something he would never do. He was a good good person. Definitely watch it it further debunks that horrible rumour. Youlll enjoy it. He should be championed by humanity for what he represented. Nice video again 😀😀😀

Elvis saw people. Not color. Anyone who would say he was racist knows nothing about his upbringing and his huge connection to the black community, black music and the fact that he considered all races his brothers.🎼🎶🎵♥️🇨🇦

Very very VERYYYY TRUE!! that is why i had to follow the rumor ... I am very lucky that my friends here know that i always want to get to the bottom of things... and thankfully with todays "gadgetry" i can just type in what i need and PRESTO! get some answers!! It would have been harder if Elvis would have been a simple man... but being famous does have its perks.. EVERYTHING... EVERY DETAIL ...is cataloged about you somewhere

I think the reason we all want you to watch Elvis and the black community it's because it's showcases the people that knew him because this rumor is still out there people to this day still think he was a racist you get to hear some of his good friends and acquaintances like Muhammad Ali James Brown Sammy Davis Jr among others that love this man and those around Elvis in 1958 new that that rumor was false but when jet magazine wrote a story to debunk the rumor is actually precipitated it and made the rumor more well-known so yes please go forward with it thank you sweet lady

I saw the Elvis movie and Elvis had a great friendship with the great BB KiNG who stated that EP was a very good friend of his 👍not only that but Elvis loved to go down to Beale Street to watch the African Americans perform, one of the ppl he saw in a club performing was the amazing Little Richard 😎

Elvis admired, revered and supported the black community, individuals, and personal friends. All the interviews of people (black and white)that knew him as a kid and an adult worked with her for him said the exact opposite that he would be the first to defend and support POC.
I think it’s all about jealousy and planting negative seeds but not his career which was the goal.

I am Mexican-American born in corpus Christi 1963. I remember hearing stories. Elvis said the same thing about about Mexicans. We still loved his music he did not come off as that as that type of person. But he was stigmatized with that all his life. I am glad with today's technology that it has been able to be debunked

No way Elvis was close to a racist. He deplored it. He was very upset when Martin Luther King, Jr was shot. When Elvis performed in Houston at the Astrodome in 1970, he was told that his back up singers who, were African American not to be in the cars driving around the dome greeting the fans. He said, they're with me. If they can't be with me, I'm not performing. I'll have to attach the video where Whitney Houston's mother who, was one of his back up singers told the story.

Poor Elvis, he is not here to defend himself, so we defend him. His actions in life spoke volumes about what he believed and who he was. He stood tall and he copped it from both sides. Everyone wanted to cancel him, and when they couldn't they tried to pull him down. Interestingly, Elvis has Cherokee blood, on both sides of the family tree.

It's a stupid argument , did they invent the piano or guitar , or the drum set ? rock and roll was born of the blues which was born by jazz but also country music , but those black performers learned from white , Spanish French English ect , the point is elvis did it better , they tried the same argument with eminem , its ridiculous envy

@@djjtheguyjeffrey9098 oh good , ridiculous rumours , but I have seen others talk about his music and make silly claims that he stole his act from black artists , which is ridiculous , people Luke him and the Beatles , rolling stones , Eric Clapton an so on grew up listening to black music and probably knew it better than anyone , they just took what they grew up listening to and put there own spin on it , which is what ever musician has always done ,Beethoven borrowed from Mozart , its doesn't change the original music , I wonder how many great songs would have been forgotten if they hadn't been covered by someone famous years later ? One of elvis early hits was a cover but it sold 10 times the original you can't blame elvis for that , and similar things happen to white artists , a songwriter pens a song sings it realises it , nobody listens , a few years later its covered and became a global hit , example the air that I breathe by Alfie hammond vs the hollies. Thanks for the info on the video btw

Well said Shane, that is what i love about the Irish and others from so many different countries... you can see from from a different perspective how we quibble about things that ... really in the long run are not what we should focus on. Granted Elvis DID do the right thing like this man points out... Elvis gave credit to the black community who embraced him and sang with him what they loved. Point being helping one another is what we should all try to do... whatever it may be... kind words, kind gestures, friendly faces, doing right, just being positive... I don't have to tell you Shane or @Djjtheguy Jeffrey but for anyone else who is reading this. :)

There is no point in watching it. You already know he wasn't a racist. and "Elvis and the Black community" is really just a video that a CZcamsr put together out of several different television specials. and part 2 is a batch of ridiculously amateurishly chopped up clips.
