Mey I make a few suggestion's in light of that...Oil the hood hinges on your blue car.Most of the time when your hood won't go down all the way in the back on these cars it's because the hinges are stiff and dry and they need a little oiling.Get rid of that ole hei distributor and run a 160 thermostat with a 83172 or 83171 Universal Perma cool Flex fan from summit racing. Their the best.Ive been running them in my muscle cars since the 70s......Happy motoring
