- Dillon Brooks asked for 40 and the Memphis Grizzlies got 40 .. from the Los Angeles Lakers roster. The Lakers defeated the Grizzlies 125-85 in Game 6 to move on to the Western Conference Semifinals to face the Golden State Warriors. LeBron James finished with 22 points, while Anthony Davis had 16 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks. Nick Wright, Chris Broussard and Kevin Wildes react to the Lakers demolition, then discuss whether Brooks should regret trash talking LeBron or not.

I think the most impressive thing about Lebron is doing is literally taking a backseat enough to where all the other guys can show out and Bron can still get around 20. He’s passive enough to let it happen. This is the 2nd year in a row that the high-seeded Grizzlies lost in the first round to a lower-seeded team. Their regular season record gave them the No.2 seed...but now that the playoffs are in effect there ain't anyone in the NBA who believes that the Grizzlies are the second-best team in the West. Or the third-best. Or the fourth-best.
The Grizzlies are just hype for the League to keep people interested during the regular season. Their usefullness ends once the playoffs begin and the adults take over.
