  • SABATON - No bullets fly | REACTION (Plus Animated story video)
Another AMAZING song and a GREAT tale! The TRUE story about a German fighter pilot SAVING an American fighter pilot, in mid air, during WW2 and then meeting again several years later thanking each other! How COOL is this? And also, and extra easter egg in the end!
This reminds me a little bit of Christmas Truce, where soldiers stopped fighting each other for a short period of time. Amazing!
THANK YOU for watching my videos! It makes me so happy!

I think the Story of Franz Stigler and Chaly Brown is one rare beutiful Storys of WWII. Me as a German, i must say thank you to Franz wherever he and Charly now flying. Because he is one of the rare ever told German WWII Heros. He showed the world that not Every German was a Nazi, sure he was a Soldier doing his duty as so many others did for theyre countrys. He Never got the Knights Cross, but i need to say i wish that the German and American Goverment would honor his doing Postmortem.

By far, my favorite Sabaton song, and the one I can most relate to.
I live near Bremen (the place they bombed) and Oldenburg (where they almost crashed),
and one of my Opas (Grandpa) was a AA-gunner at the Atlantikwall, in the Netherlands.
    I wonder if he saw a BF-109 escorting a B-17?
Also, my grandma and aunts had to run to the air-raid shelter because of this air raid.
    Great reaction.

The b-17 was a damn tank. They came back all the time shredded like this.
Ok, maybe not like this but still with hundreds of holes and multiple engines nocked out, that they did do.

When you compare that craftsmanship with today's appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines that often breaks after a year or two from intended use, we have come a long way. In the wrong direction.

    Two things:
    1. Watch the whole animated story by itself sometime. It's a long on and very good.
    2. A Canadian news channel did a special a long time ago 9f the Franz and Charlie story. Watch it sometime too....
    "But they are the enemy!"
"Ja, but you shoot the airplane, you don't think of men. If I had not seen them, I would have shot."

Very moving! If I remember right, there was an event where the German pilot got to meet some of the 64 people that came from the bomber crew -- people that wouldn't have existed if the crew had died. I could have the number wrong, but you get the point. ••• Thanks! PEACE!!! (-:

Franz Stigler once explained, that his former Squadron Leader told this to all of the Pilots " If I ever get aware that any of you were shooting at a Pilot in a Parachute, I`ll shoot you myself"...Cant remember his Name, but was a WWI Vet, still deep in the noble spirit of a fair fight. For Franz, the hardly flying B17 was something like a Parachute
