Bakugou can force his sweat out. Just making him cold doesn't turn off his quirk, it just makes it harder to push out explosions due to the smaller pores.
right, I don't think their combustion works on the same principal, also worth considering if phosphorus has a limit to the fire it can cancel, I can imagine Bakugou powering through since technically all of his body sweat is fuel, seems like phosphorus just brakes the chain reaction on an existing flame but Bakugou can constantly try to oxidize his nitro sweat 🤔

@@reigen. yes it does weaken the quirk, but he only needs to make a couple of explosions to warm back up. Explosions aren't Luke warm.

not even his weaker explosions are luke warm. They just don't last long enough to transfer as much heat.
Similar to how you can run your finger through a flame without Bruning it, if the blast doesn't last long enough to transfer the heat you can get away without burns. This doesn't mean the explosio itself is not hot.
As for bakugo being encased in ice and not being able to generate sweat, you have to keep in mind that bakugo always keeps items on his belt that have his sweat in them, so I fully believe that Shoto wouldn’t be able to keep bakugo incased in ice for long at all. Bakugo is just too smart to be held down by something like that, he clearly knows his weakness, especially against shoto. He would be prepared for something like that, so I think Bakugo wins every time against shoto in most situations, aside from early in Bakugo’s career.
But would he be able to release said items if frozen in place?? He’d literally have to be holding those items already.
@@DwyneOverstreet he’d only have to free a hand, or already been sweating just a little bit before being frozen to be able to do this. I’d imagine as he is getting frozen he’d prepare his hand where it needed to be or something. That’s his battle IQ coming into play. I’d say it’s very plausible to think he’d be able to escape.
Chemical explosions are a bit different than just fire. I don’t even think this phosphorus thing will stop his explosions past just freezing him.
@Jaidon Thomas bakugo broke through “unbreakable air” is the cavalry battle, so I just don’t think Ice, which is prone to failure after the least bit is cracked or damaged, would hold him in. Even if he would have to sacrifice his gauntlet to do so, I think it would be enough to enable him to do more to get out.
Fuck a matchup, lets talk about TEAMWORK FEATS y'all:
If Bakugou and Shouto teamed up, imagine a combo attack where they both make a ton of fire and smoke to obscure an enemy's vision, then Shouto started producing a hot flame near enough to Bakugou to make him sweat bullets. They keep this up for a few moments/minutes and finally break through the smokescreen with Bakugou shirtless. He flies straight towards his target using his starburst speed thingy and provides the distraction for Shouto to get close while holding Bakugou's sweat-soaked shirt, wrapping it around an enemy's face and either igniting it himself, or having Bakugou ignite it, either beheading the poor fucked or just ending the fight right there.
Or, Shouto freezing some of Bakugou's sweat into actual bullets that explode on contact?

Bakugo's should be faster (Shoto does have good speed feat when he blitz Dabi with Glacial Aegir) but Shoto takes too much time to get that attack going...also he can't maintain it.
Hori said that Shoto would have won in the sport festival but he decided to have Bakugo win instead because of Shoto's trauma.

Shoto's finisher that he used against Bakugo is called "Flashfreeze Heatwave"
If bakugo can't control his sweat glands then he would kill everyone when he entered the hot bath. Cold only restricts him but not totally stall him.
Shoto is mha version of piccolo. A major and strong character. But never fully match up to the two main duo.

I think up until when Bakugo learned cluster, I thought it was todoroki with mid to high difficulty. But after cluster, it was all Bakugo. His mobility plus his battle smarts would overwhelm todoroki.
With Todoroki it's like unless his opponent forces him to move then he's generally stationary.

Shoto might have a chance or winning by his ice Quirk but to be true Bakugo still solos shoto.He has good abilities and understands his quirks he has clusters and uses mini explosion by using little Nitro Glycerin.

You are wrong Pineapple. Nitroglycerin does not combust in the sane way as fire. Both are chemical reactions but nitro has the oxygen it needs as a part of its very molecular structure. Fire requires external oxygen or some other oxidizer to ignite and continue burn and this is why Shoto can stop fire but Bakugo uses sweat that is basically nitroglycerin. It has all the oxygen it needs built into it. Doesn't even need a flame to go off at all. As for the cold stopping him from being able to sweat more, that really doesn't matter. Being active in battle dude going to be sweaty as hell already and his system will continue to sweat so long as he is overheating and he will because Shoto would literally have to use the type of cold that would kill instantly to cool Bakugo down that much that quick. You did this all wrong and based all of this on a very wrong supposition. This would work on any normal fire type attack but Bakugo doesn't use fire. He uses heat and pressure released from a literal explosion. He doesn't use fire to detonate his sweat either, as we see all during the series. Basically the entire middle and end of this video is just wrong. Nitroglycerin can even detonate in space. This wouldn't work on Bakugo at all. Did you even research this a little bit?
Currently, bakugo is way stronger, he could damage shigaraki and could blitz him. shoto ain't doing that for now.

I give remainder that bakugo injured shigaraki half his face while all the heros except bakugo there is no one who even give a scratch to shigaraki because his skin and body becomes hard to even injured him . Lemillion tries several times with suneater still no effect while todoroki not even injured dabi by his new attack Bakugo is clearly winner here and in the end shigaraki got serious to kill dynamite because he can't keep up with bakugo speed clusters and he remained him of second user of one for all means bakugo is now exact lvl as 2 nd user but that time one for all now more developed by bakugo reached that lvl without one for all its big achievement

Bakugo is faster but with Shouto's defense idk if Kaachan can land critical hits. His current awakening could pose a problem for Shouto though.
Initially it probably would've been Shoto but now I think after seeing Bakugo still being the only person to damage Shiggy he'd most likely win. Shoto would definitely push him but ultimately I think it's a match up issue Bakugo only needs to get in once.

Bakugo wins. Even though Todoroki has 2 powerful quirks, Bakugo is much more versatile and experienced with his Explosion quirk. Todoroki just started using his fire quirk like what? a few months ago when he fought Deku at the sport festival? Anyways i think Todoroki could actually improve if he actually trained in making his quirk more versatile, such as creating ice weapons and so on, and maybe working on speed and other areas. I think he’s just so used to be able to overpower his opponents with an ice wall that he doesn’t really think he needs to do much else, but that doesn’t work on someone as skilled as Bakugo.
He has a singular quirk not 2.

Bakougous quirk for instance Is another case of quirks fusing together to make a more powerful quirk yet nobody calls his two quirks, it’s been established time and time again that the only two quirks in the verse that have or hold multiple quirks is Afo and Ofa, the rest are all experimenting like the Nomus, or Afo transferring a secondary quirk

i feel like this fight is a really hard call, bakugo definitively has a massive speed advantage being able to move faster than shiggy can react but i feel like shoto’s fire power is way crazier.

Lowkey Shoto can TANK hits. We saw him take full hits from Deku using almost 100%, from the wolf beast in the movie, the iron student from 1-B and etc. Kacchan and definitely dish it out, is strong, looks strong, but never seemed to take hard hits as well

I believe Bakugou's howitzer impact and Todoroki's flashfreeze heatwave would've been relative but Bakugou having greater momentum would secure him the dub.
And your point about Bakugou's attack not being as impactful is flawed because it was only Bakugou's attack whereas Shoto and Deku had a clash.
They're not relative, Shoto has slightly better AP but bakugo can spam attacks and could use his moves way faster then shoto can let off, nothing would land
The funny part is that bakago hates Shoto like midoria but Pooler opposite reasons. He hates midoria because he is weak but is somehow above his. He hates Shoto because he is strong but is not willing to put it all to prove it.

the speed gap is too different. Shigaraki 75% can keep up with Deku 100% OFA but Shigaraki 100% can't react to Bakugo's cluster. That proves the speed of Bakugo's cluster is much faster than Deku 100% OFA.
Shoto would be defeated before he could react to Bakugo's tremendous speed.

Something i've wondered- Who do you think is faster? Iida's Recipro Turbo or Bakugo's Final Cluster?
Even if we've stopped seeing Iida fight in the manga since where the anime's up to so we dont know what Iida's capable of now.
Since Iida's engine replacement aspect gurantees he's always gonna keep upgrading his engine over time.

My theory Jeanist either gives Bakugo his heart & Katsuki finally gets that Trip Wire Ability or Jeanist repairs the muscle fibers and Mirio gets Bakugo's heart pumping again by taking him to Kaminari. Long story short Bakugo is going to pull a Kuwabara from Spirit Detective. Main character believes he's dead, but really he's not.
I think that Jeanist would use the givers to save Bakugo, but he wouldn’t be able to use his explosions anymore as it risks his heart to explode, similar to A-train in The Boys

I hate that the series takes place in 1 year, Bakugo from UA start to training camp got no progress on his quirk based on what Aisawa told them, now in less than a year they got to above pro hero level.

Bakugo in the new war arc scales above Mirko who can beat multiple high-end nomus who scale to hood who is comparable to endeavor. Also Bakugo blitzed shigaraki who blitzed an endeavor who is stronger than dabi and and around equal to todoroki so bakugo would blitzed todo and 1 shot him cause he destroyed multiple of shigarakis fingers and damaged shigaraki who tanked the Big 3 combination attack
Todo is probably around big 3 level. Tamaki takes him. Nejire takes him. Mirio takes him. But bakugo and deku scale to all might levels. The ppl who don't see it are just kinda slow 😅
The final bakugo I don't think is sustainable. Like the chapter said he's doing damage to himself reminiscent of deku. If shoto can hold out and tank some hits bakugo might end up damaging himself more. As fast as bakugo was he wasnt able to control the speed well enough to avoid being hit by shigaraki. Not sure wether that was because the internal explosions became too much, shigaraki got a metnal amp or what but even the other heroes had enough time to react and touch bakugo to try and pretect him but bakugo was sort of frozen in mid air. Unusual for him because he has good air mobility. So it think if bakugo doesn't end it quickly hes just going to be in trouble.

The way a see it, Shoto is more powerful but not by much. On the other hand Bakugo is a lot more skilled overall. So, in the end Bakugo wins.

Obviously the exposition from Deku and shotos attack would be bigger from just Bakugos howitzer. It was two large attacks vs one. Later throughout the series we see how devastating Howizter is. I don’t think Shoto could simply overpower that move I’d have to disagree
If shoto was just going to put out a fire attack at the school event I dont think it was going to beat bakugo's attack because he is rotating violently and there probably isn't a lot of oxygen in bakugo's cyclone making it harder for fire to burn and expand... unless he something with a lot of force to counteract the explosion... I dont see only fire doing that especially with a giant vaccume in front of it
Todoroki has quirk advantage and potential but Bakugou has the advantage of extreme personality/will and greater plot led growth.

Man I really wanna say Shoto wins but I fear that Bakguo is just way too fast for him now. I do believe his new attack could stop him but how would he get hit and he's constantly emitting explosions throughout his entire body. For now I think Bakugo but Shoto has improved vastly and I think he still has enough potential to go even further.

Yep, Todoroki is not winning. Bakugo is facing Shiggy, and Todoroki is facing Dabi. Bakugo's potential feats will always be better due to this fact.

While the final Bakugo appears to be stronger, you're talking about Shoto from the sports festival so that doesnt factor in a fight right now, and even that Shoto would win against that Bakugo if he used both sides because while he was of imprecise, his raw power more than made up for it in a fight against Bakugo at that point.

You say that like Bakugo did away with Shiggy and is chilling now. The man is dead. Shiggy was trying with him the whole time until the very end. That's even more disrespectful. There are also panels that Best Jeanist had to pull him away from the hands otherwise he'd have got caught in it. This is right before he went for his Howitzer Impact + Cluster. And he has been struggling since. The man is "dead". He blitzed Shiggy though, but that's after building up mega sweat. He didn't just start and get to that level and it was hurting his body. I know he got killed by Shiggy but I don't know whether those explosions inside his body were making him faster and killing him at the same time or there were just increasing his speed but it sounded like the former.

Shoto was struggling yes, because it's more heat than even he can produce and Shoto can melt Tetsutetsu. Let's not act like the inferno heat and firepower of Dabi is not something anyone should struggle against. Shoto would've won if Dabi didn't copy SHOTO'S move. Dabi had to copy Shoto's move to still be kicking.

The fact that we will never get a answer (canonicaly), grinds my gears. I remember being 17 watching katsuki and shoto fight and was pissed at the results.

The answer is literally in our face.... if shoto is struggling against dabi he'd stand no chance against shigaraki.. bakugo is the only hero who can hurt shigaraki currently since deku is not there. Bakugo has speed blitz shigaraki and damaged him severely. Why does Bakugo have higher durability? Why are people forgetting that one of Bakugo's problem is that he breaks his arms. He can't do infinite Howitzer Impacts that's why he carries all those extra equipments.
Or even Hax? Or Strength? Why would strength matter when they're always going to be using their quirks?

@@komishouko98 we're using that to categorize Bakugo over Todoroki who has been shown to tank more things due to his toddler training and other fights. Bakugo sustained one hit and that was when he got his hand shatter and half his face injured. Shiggy was literally toying with him. Picked him up by the toes. He could've killed him at any point. All that damage came from one hit from a Shiggy that wasn't even trying. The second hit killed him. I wouldn't count that as great durability. If it was more, than 1 or 2 hits then sure, it would be impressive but it was a massacre. Todoroki should have more durability and even in terms of the use of their quirks. Todoroki can use his for longer because he wouldn't have any side effects but Bakugo can injure his arms or die from his quirk.
And what hax does Bakugo have over Todoroki's hax? If anything the last thing I mentioned about Todoroki not have weaknesses from using his quirk is a hax that Bakugo doesn't have.
Strength? At what point will they need their physical strength? Will Aizawa pop up and cancel their quirks or Monoma and tell them to fight like that?

A lot of people forget that a weakness of bakugous is cold temaptures the only way he figured around this , is storing up sweat which would eventually run out.
Shoto literally covered Bakugo in ice and he still got out so I don’t think its much of a counter tbh
@@superblanco444 shoto used heaven piercing ice wall that isn't an attack meant to change the temperature it's meant to overpower opponents or create obstacles or so on but shoto is very capable of changing the temperatures in an area as shown at the beginning of mha when he froze an entire building with ice effecting the characters inside but current manga it's been proven he can do this on possibly a city wide scale which would indeed hinder bakugou greatly.

Nah a lot of people misunderstand bakugos relationship with cold. We've never seen cold just shut off his quirk or anything just make it harder to produce a max explosion. He doesn't need a max explosion to destroy shotos ice he's done it with normal smaller ones in the sports festival and cluster is literally said to be more powerful because it's a condensed/concentrated explosion. It gives him more power with less sweat so he's destroying the ice no problem. I also doubt he's even catching bakugo with anything he's not nearly as fast

Industrial water jet cutter can cut through steel due to the speed of the water (around Mach 3), but it need to be close or else it would just lose it speed and cutting ability. The soda villain can easily cut steel pole even from a distance away, he might’ve even damaged concrete building if I remember correctly. If he can do that then his co2 water must’ve been faster than normal water jet cutter. So he’s still faster than sound even in cold weather.

Bro after bakugo showed that minefield blast attack against deku, INSTANTLY I knew bakugo would flex shoto. Shoto literally only has straight line attacks, but katsuki can melt todoroki's ice. So it'll be down to fire vs explosions.
I mean Nitroglycerin decomposes at around 50 to 60 degrees celcius, and blows up if heated rapidly to 218 degrees celcius. So if Bakugou gets hit by fire he done for. But since Bakugou is faster that shouldn’t be a problem unless Shoto does that thing he did with tetsu tetsu guy and heat everything up. Which would be hot enough to spontaneously blow Bakugou up if he got close, but provide sweat if he stays further away. That and nitroglycerin freezes at 13 degrees celcius. If you consider his sweat as a mixture then it should freeze at about 6.5 degree celcius since majority of sweat is water. So I think it could go either way unless Todoroki actually uses some new trick we haven’t seen. Then Todoroki most likely would win since he just actually needs to play smart. But I like both so I can’t decide.

Oh wait, he doesn't have any, so he gets blitzed like the fodder he is. And as of the recent chapter, Bakugo made Shiggy feel fear and dealt lasting damage to him so Mirko could damage him.

Bakugo is better with his quirk, Shoto has a better quirk. I think they're pretty equal, maybe Bakugo sightly edges it thanks to the greater speed, but explosions have yet to really do damage if it could stop Shoto who has been shown to be very durable and has built in heat resistance.

@@carlbuet12 The book flat out says it's his explosion hurt him (which is also a downside to how long it could last), the art then shows the heart exploding outwards towards his chest.
The punch doesn't help the situation, but how does a hit to the chest rupture the heart in that way. Rather than tears pointing out it would need to be caved in for it all to be Shiggy.

Shiggy still reacted quirk enough to smash him before Bakugo could hurt him. Shiggy has prime All Might durability but that doesn't mean he has prime All Might speed and prime All Might Strength.
The author has stated multiple times that Shoto has the greatest potential if he received OFA. Literally All Might himself said this because Shoto's quirk is that strong. You could also ask, why didn't he say Bakugo if Bakugo was stronger? Even Endeavour says that Shoto has the greatest potential out of everyone to become the best hero. Of course Deku and OFA will always be stronger but ignoring Shoto's abilities like you're doing is silly. Choosing who to make as the rival doesn't always have to be the 2nd strongest. Shoto already has the stronger quirk are you gonna say Bakugo has the stronger quirk because he's the 2nd protagonist (deuteragonist btw). Horikoshi had Shoto fighting Chimera because no one would've been able to take him down aside from the big 3 and 2 of them were fighting nine. It's not very hard to comprehend.
Also that's cap, Shoto is fighting Dabi because he's his natural counter and Endeavour Might get emotionally manipulated and has to take down AFO.
