There was a surprising amount wrong in this video. For starters, Bakugo's winter costume was designed to help him with his quirk because his quirk relies on his sweat, and at colder temperatures, he sweats less, which is why he says that it takes him a while to get going in winter on multiple occassions. Second, Bakugo's bracers have only been broken in the end of term fight against All Might. Bakugo doesn't use them that much because although they're powerful, they take a bit to prime, and would be overkill in most scenarios. Finally, I'm surprised no one considered all of the stuff Todoroki and Bakugo were learning under Endeavor. Todoroki has been working on flashfire, both creating and shaping it, giving him more defensive and close quarters options. Bakugo has been working on compressing his explosions and drawing out his maximum fire power quicker, which would increase his speed and agility.

I think Bakugo wins in a good fight. Todoroki can control the terrain but the destructive power of Bakugo's explosions can destroy Todorokis ice. He can regulate the temprature to stop sweating but explosions generate heat to generate more sweat. We've seen how much Howitzer Impact can destroy todoroki and fire would not change that outcome as fire doesn't have a defensive output outside of setting yourself on fire which won't save you from Howitzer Impact. Bakugo wins without support items in a very tough fight
With support items Bakugo wins much easier. With his support items he can have much more range with AP shot and Autofire. AP shot penetrated cementos' cement which is more durable than todorokis ice, as his ice has been been cut by stains knives and even Twices tape measure. Todoroki has utility items which is not too useful in a one on one fight. Also, I don't think Todoroki can break his gauntlets, so far they have only broken from a punch from All Might, which is destructive output that Todoroki can't output, and extreme temperatures wouldn't mess with them cuz they aren't tech based, their basically giant water tanks with an igniting pin, that's not tech. Bakugo wins.
Shotos advantages: Terrain control, level headedness, versitility and temperature regulation
Bakugos advantages: Durability, Mobility, Destructive output, (possibly) more combat intelligence, combat skill, better support items and physical strength (he sent Deku flying with a non explosive punch enough to bend metal bars)

Todoroki would have to make the fight last at least 15-20 min to make a meanigful change to the air temperature *long enough* to hinder bakugous quirk. Keep in mind that if bakugou is flying high about his ice, then the ice won't hinder his quirk. And todorki surrounding himself with fire is really a non factor because he can attack from 15 feet out and still hit him with enough force to KO him. Keep in mind that ap shot would be an insta knockout even restrained.

I debate about fights like this a lot with my friends so this was fun to watch. And while my opinion wasn’t really influenced much by what you two put forth. I think Bakugo would take the win in both instances. And I don’t even think it would be extremely difficult for him. With his explosions and speed, the ice can’t touch him, not a problem at all. And the fire is just gonna increase his sweat and power output. Plus with his concentrated explosion he learned with Endeavor, he has blinding speed and an insanely powerful attack I reckon he could use to get close and take Shoto out before the fire even had time to hurt him, if Shoto was able to hit him with it even. I mean out of the students, discounting the big three, Shoto isn’t even that far up there imo in comparison to what most people think. I reckon my placing would be from top to bottom of the higher ups: Bakugo, Inasa, Deku, Juzo, Jurota, Iida, Shoto, Tokoyami, Ibara, Seiji, Shoji.

Shoto depends too much on his quirk, which could be expected given how powerful it is. He literally just stands and let’s his quirk do the rest of the job. Meanwhile Bakugou is way more skilled, knows close combat or fighting from a distance, he’s always trying new things and adapting to his opponents. Tbh Bakugou would have won the sport festival in both cases, even if Shoto didn’t stop using his fire. But, Shoto is progressing (and so is Bakugou) and he could try to find other ways to fight. Round 1) Everyone is looking at this fight like it's a death match and it's not. Looking at the facts Bakugo is a skilled fighter and Todoroki just has a powerful quirk, B (Bakugo) is extremely good in a close range 1 on 1 fight but can't snipe at range T (Todoroki) is really good at range and keeping people away. Bc they are in an open area they don't have to hold back and can go all out.
Looking at disadvantage B isn't the best at range and T couldn't win a in a real fight at all.
But looking at advantages B is a all around amazing fighter and can easily control his quirk and T is good at keeping people far away making up for the fact that he can't fight. !I believe both rounds will end the same keep reading!
Round 2) Looking at the support items for Bakugo he has the gauntlets, grenades, and gloves. Support for Todoroki is a outfit to help him better control his temp and snow boots. Now bc this fight is focused more on the support items we can't just say "Todoroki can just break Bakugos items because he can control the temperature" or "Bakugou can just Blast off all of Todorokis clothes" (tho I bet a lot of yall horny fucks would love that) SO support items will not be rendered in the fight.
Bakugo is now a lot better at range with his gauntlets and grenades and Todoroki has a bit more control of his quirk bc ot the fit. The fight will be a longer match and B will still have trouble getting near T but with the support he wouldn't have to worry about it and T with better control of his temp can hold on a bit longer in the fight. THE WINNER IN BOTH FIGHTS WOULD BE...Bakugo
Why? Ok so the fight would be hella long tbh bc they both have great counters for one another but I believe (and help me understand if I am wrong) Bakugo is physically stronger and has way more stamina than Todoroki right? Todorokis powers are also extremely difficult for for him to keep up with over time even with the outfit he would at some point just run out. Bakugo you could say the same thing but his power doesn't really hurt him that much bc he isn't straining himself by using big blast bc he can use the gauntlets for the big boy booms.
So it's really just a fight against themselves in a way to see who could hold out longer. I was trying to make the fight as far as possible by looking at facts and not just saying "well Bakugo would win because he can make big boom" or "Todoroki would win bc his ice and flam go brrrrrrrrrr". If you have a different idea of how the fight would go down I would really love to know (and please try to keep away from the "big boom" or "ice fire brrrrr" ideas bc that will get us nowhere) it is now 1:30 for me so goodnightmorning.

"potential wise todoroki will be stronger at the end unless the author gives bakugo some good old plot armor"
again who is spreading this mis information...if anything bakugou's potential is always stated in the manga by the likes of allmight and eraser head and even the league of villains because he fullfills 4 conditions...insane dedication, overwhelming hard work, great quirk and inborn battle sense...todoroki only has one of the above...a great quirk..his combat sense is nowhere near as good as bakugou, and his level of dedication to be the no.1 hero is also inferior...he also lacks the charisma that both izuku and bakugou have which improves the performance of the whole class .

But I still think Bakugou would win. He's smart, even though he has anger issues.
Let's all face it, Bakugou is more skilled, you guys will see the Class 1-B vs 1-A fight soon.
He thought of a P E R F E C T plan. They won 0 to 4. They had each others' back. Like Bakugou protected Jiro. So he clearly has the brains to think of a plan. and he has WAY more skills than from the sports festival. Like do you all remember the Deku vs Bakugou fight after the license exam? He was still able to defeat Deku.
While Todoroki... IT's more because of fangirls saying, "UgH wHaT aRe YoU sAyiNg. ToDoRokI wIlL wIn, BAkUgOu Is StUpId"
That's not true. Sure Todoroki had evolved. But he isn't a natural-born fighter.
as many other people say before, he relies too much on his quirk. Honestly, if Todoroki wasn't the son of endeavor, he wouldn't be in recommendations.
Sure he can use the one ice move slide, but that's legit nothing but becoming Todoroki on Ice.
Now I'm going to have a little rant about Todoroki and his "daddy issues''
Honestly, such it up dude, other people have had worse than you and yet they keep trying to be positive. Todoroki Is like "uGh My old man is a scum bag." and honestly, that's true, but he should've known that he shouldn't build up that anger.
Kinda like... Tohru Honda, most of her family members think she's suspicious and she'll be dangerous because of her mom, her dad died when she was young, her mom died from a car crash. She had to live in a tent, her tent basically got trampled, she has to deal with the Zodiac curse, Akito hates, her.
Sure maybe that is an unfair comparison but still, it's a bit worse, and yet Tohru keeps trying to smile.
not to mention if todoroki HEATS UP THE PLACE. He's done. Bakugou will sweat and then he wouldn't even need his gauntlets. He'd just be like:

bakugo was always proud of his quirk he had it from a small age even though he didn't train he at least knows how his quirk can be used (i mean basics)
and about todoroki although he had both of his quirk from small age but he didn't agreed or made himself to use his fire quirk until he came to UA (especially during festival) which brings him in a disadvantage
and midoriya (although out of subject but) he had the quirk just a months ago (from entering to UA to sports festival) that's why his body can't handle it and also he was defeated by todoroki
as we all know experience plays vital role during a fight, so to catch up to bakugo both deku and half hot-half cold boy should do training way more than bokugo. so that's it

Not siding with either overall, but on the topic of fire vs explosions I think 1 definitely wins out in a way. They share a common source of usage: oxygen, well Bakugo's also uses sweat but that's not as important in this context. If they're up close, and it comes down to fire vs explosions, I feel like maybe explosions win out. The reason being that since both share the limited oxygen within their vicinity, it becomes a race. It comes down to a race of whether Todoroki's superior fire-power can start-up faster than Bakugo can ignite the same fuel source, and as far as I can tell, Bakugo's explosions will be faster.

We all know bakugo likes/and will put up a good fight, which also means the more his temperature rises the more he will sweat, the bigger and powerful his explosions will be, now let's not forget that bakugo also has these moves and techniques that he does when he fights, not saying that todo doesn't but (in my opinion) he relys on his quirk a lot unless he has to move around here and there, and let's also not forget that bakugo said that he also has limits to when his quirk has a weak point (like his arms and hands starting to cramp and spasm from the huge explosions he created against uraraka (rip bc he almost killed her) so pretty much what I'm saying that this fight could be a win-win, that's *if* one of them pulls a deku and comes up with a strategy and how to beat the other person (which I'm sure will happen, bc the all strategize before they fight) so change of opinions this will be a short equation and how I would see a fight between the two
Bakugo vs todoroki = *were all going to be hanging on to the edge of our seats waiting and getting hype (the moment the person we wants to win gets the upper hand) and then- the rest is up to you*

Looking at the manga and how shoto has grown into evolving his piercing shot: inferno, and how he's trained with endeavor I'd say he'd put up more of a fight especially learning some more close quarter combat techniques.
Bakugo also trained under endeavor, with his rapid fire shots and hovering jump technique, I'd give it to Bakugo on this one. He's too versatile and he's mastered his power so much by the time he's ready to graduate the dude quirk would have evolved, Bakugo trains a lot and learns new was to master his quirk. He also adapts according to his opponent. Good fight, But Bakugo would win.

Bakugo is the fastest among the 3
Faster than Endeavor even and Bakugo has shown his superior speed against Shoto so many times
When they fought those thugs after getting their license Bakugo finished his opponents before Shoto even STARTED fighting his and that’s even with Bakugo taking like 8 of them while Shoto was against 1
At this point Bakugo is one of the fastest people in the verse probably only behind Prime All Might and Hawks
He can blitz Shoto and Howitzer Impact him before he even realizes it

If shoto used enough of his ice, he would be able to freeze bakugou so much, and make him loose his sweat or even freeze :() , and so then bakugou wouldn’t be able to use his quirk to get out of his ice ( cuz his explosions come from his sweat ). At that point Todoroki would need to get closer some how and actually freeze his arms first or something, and then the other, and then the whole rest of bakugou. I'm surprised their Endeavor Agency arc gains weren't brought up at all. They both learned how to focus their powers at a point, which enhanced their speed and power, especially the former. Todoroki in particular learned the basics of Flashfire Fist by mastering that, so now he has close range attack options. If you're talking about the Ultra Analysis Book, Bakugo's an A rank in Power and Speed and A+ in technique, while Shoto's an S in Power, an A in Speed and a B- in technique. Intelligence doesn't matter as much imo since they've both proven to be plenty perceptive in a fight situation anyway.
Also, those stats came before the Endeavor Agency arc where both of them leveled up.

@@thanatos2684 i disagree...intelligence matters alot in a fight...in 1A v 1B the sole reason shoto tied was because he was stupid to fight tetsutetsu in a 1v1 and start with ice rather than fire....his team was superior to juzos in every way and his performance was abismal considering he is considered one of the best in class

    • @thanatos2684
      @thanatos2684 Před 4 lety

      @@souvikbose8583 that's a gross oversimplification of things.
      1. Shoto starting with ice has nothing to do with intelligence, it's down to the muscle memory he's developed from neglecting his fire powers his entire life. It's no different to how Deku just subconsciously always went for punches when kicks were an obvious alternative, and we know how smart and perceptive he is. He's already taken steps towards shaking that habit, like when he saved his brother from Ending using fire first and foremost and only used his ice for travel and detaining him.
      2. Juzo's team had specific counters to Shoto's strongest hitters (destabilizing footpaths for Tenya and melting Shoto's ice, Tetsutetsu being resistant to Shoto's Quirk), plus Tetsutetsu forced Shoto into a 1v1 situation to begin with. No one knew he was temperature resistant until he started no-selling Shoto's attacks.
Besides if we're going by book stat intelligence then Endeavor's a 4/6 as well which puts him below Bakugo and Deku, and yet we've seen his intelligence and perception first-hand. Just as we saw Shoto's battle smarts when he froze Tenya's boosters to stop his movements during the Sports Festival, and defeated a team of 6 during the Provisional Licence arc by using the terrain to his advantage. Bakugo's primary advantage here is his technique due to his Quirk mastery, while Shoto still reliant on the raw strength of his own and pretty much had to learn his fire quirk off from scratch.

    • @roguerex292

      2) Irrelevant , every team had some way to defeat the heavy hitters of the other team...it basically came down to how you use quirk and strategize around your opponent ...momo literally counters everyone , but she was taken down by a chick who can make her hands big...and yes, i agree tetsutetsu kinda counters todoroki , there is no whay in hell juzo counters anyone...juzo has no wayto stop fire and ida's respiro turbo allows him to run on softened ground, and ofcourse tetsutetsu is gonna force him to fight ...he hard counters him...it is up to todoroki to make a tactical retreat and he had plenty of opportunity...first tetsu broke his ice wall and yet todoroki continued to use ice to try and stop him, then todoroki used a fire wall and tetsutetsu broke out of that too and said he is super hot...meanwhile todoroki told soji to go after pony, when he should have used his speed advantage to chase down pony and gain distance from tetsutetsu ...bakugou even comments that even after watching that his attacks are not workingh he continues to use the same attack...this is in direct contradiction to bakugou vs kirishima where kirishima was also a hard counter to explosion, and bakugou worked around that by deducing kirishima's limitations...todoroki didn't do anything like that...he had an enormous speed advantage, which he wasted, instead chose to fight in close quarters where he is at a disadvantage and then tried to brute force his way to victory.
3)like i already said B in intelligence is not bad...and no one is saying it makes him stupid...it makes him less intelligent in comparison to say someone like hawks...as for shoto's battle smarts against ida, yeah at that point in the manga their (todoroki, bakugou and izuku) stats in intelligence was equal at B, unlike now where bakugou and izuku upgraded to A...also in the provisional license arc, he took down nameless fodders offscreen...the anime gave us a filler fight...so doesn't really prove intelligence from that feat.
and i still disgree i feel intelligence is overlooked in fights...i am not saying shoto is stupid...i am saying bakugou's higher intelligence is also an overlooked advantage in fights...if you don't agree then lets agree to disagree.

I feel like a lot of this depends on circumstance. While todoroki has his range advantage and can control their playing field, Bakugou is a lot smarter than people give him credit for, and he is less reliant on his quirk to do everything, using it more as a tool, than a part of himself. While both use their quirks excessively, this would more boil down to quick thinking and a battle against the clock. If todoroki could outlast, he would come out on top, but if he even slips of the slightest, Bakugou would exploit the opening and easily finish the fight. It's less about what support items they have, and more about who has the strength to control the playing field. So I don't think there is an undisputed winner to this, both have advantages and strengths, so that boils it down to how fast they can take control.

Unlike the clearly popular opinion, I think Todoroki would win. For starters, there's no risk (at least there's only a slim chance) of Todoroki getting frostbite or burns because now he uses both sides, he's decently mobile, can handle most ranges pretty well, and given in this scenario it's not closed off, Todoroki could enclose Bakugou in thicker ice than the sports festival, making it harder for Bakugou to locate Todoroki and break out of the ice. Todoroki could also use the fire to give Bakugou some pretty nasty burns.
Also, there is a chance Todoroki could use enough fire to evaporate the sweat or make Bakugou sweat too much, or (probably not but may as well point it out) freeze the sweat OR freeze Bakugou's palms so he has to waste sweat, time and energy to free his hands by using explosions (or depending on the environment, smash the ice). Todoroki could possibly stop Bakugou from being as mobile by using the ice as well so Bakugou doesn't sweat as much.
These are just a few reasons on why I think Todoroki would win in a fight with his new character development. However, I do think it wouldn't be an easy fight, it would come very close (like Bakugou and Deku's rematch).

It would all depend on how much they've grown with their mobility, speed, endurance, stamina, and their quirk drawbacks. While bakugo would most likely have to stay in the air because Todoroki had the advantage with the terrain his mobility in the air is amazing, but Todoroki can balance out his tempatures and we haven't seen how fast his reaction times are in the air especially with the loss of anything to use as leverage. While Todoroki could use ice, think about Bakugo would just use it as something to get better footing even if it is slippery and continue attacking. Hir fire is a different story, but it would make bakugo sweat more, and he can take attacks so depending on the heat he may be able to take it. So, without support items? either really, with? He can giant walls of ice big enough to take up half a stadium with ease and he can make huge walls of fire. Also he will also be able to do everything endeavor can (such as blow up high skyscrapers create blue flames, hell spider etc.) And to an even greater extend bc he'll never have to worry about over heating. I think right now todoroki is slightly above bakugo in destructive power but as they get older and shoto eventually learns all of endeavors moves plus as his ice gets stronger the gap between him and bakugo in terms of DP will be large

The Strength of Todoroki's quirk is supposed to give him the potential to rival Allmight or at least be better than Endeavor which is saying a lot. The duality of his quirk is much more versatile or if not at least deals more damage than Bakugo. Range and terrain manipulation as they said gives him the edge. Imo

It gives him the edge but not against bakugo lol. Bakugo can destroy todorokis ice easily. Ice/cold is bakugos weakness remember during the sports festival bakugo broke thru all of todorokis ice effortlessly...that says alot. And let me remind u of something todorokis quirk will make him stronger than endeavours but bakugo and deku have always been aiming to surpass all might. And they will end of series. Even with tht duality hes still not tht versatile for example all he does is spam his fire and ice. Now bakugo uses his quirk to fly to create light tht blinds his opponents. He gets more versatile and creative

    • @DattoFlicks420

@@Salchicha69 because that data book is outdated. It came out before the internship. Shoto dosent have the feats to match up with his stats. I keep repeating the same thing because their was more than one person baking shoto. Now ill also repost what I just said because I don't feel like retyping it.
Bakugou provided a better power feat in that same foght with all might with his full power explosion. Todoroki had an advantage because his attack was a ranged based attack while deku's was a meele based. Deku was the one to break through cementos while todoroki capitilized. Shoto was also blasted back by dekus attack and todorokis flames never reached deku. He just got blown back out of the arena which we see by deku not having any burn marks by the end of that fight.
For "proof" bakugou vs ending was far faster than anything shoto has shown and it happened to be with a single condensed explosion. Bakugou was able to save Natsuo before todoroki even had the time to move. And with it being his brother that was in danger shoto dosent have any bigger reason to rush into action.
For reaction time you can use bakugou avoiding every member of the league apart from dabi and kurogiri during the fight with all might or you can use his fight against full cowling deku which happens to both be far faster then the one kick from season two that he barley managed to dodge from Iida while he is later counter feated by his fight against class 1b where testsu completely blitzed him.
Another thing from bakugou for speed was when he blasted off towards Kirishima Iida and Deku which also happens to be far faster than anything shoto has shown.
And for another power feat we have a statement from all might that says that he was the strongest in the class. That's not much of a feat but any attack that would make all might feel something is so much more than competing with wind pressure, also considering todoroki only remained in the ring do to his ice and the blow being cushioned that doesn't make for a good power feat.

He took his own final move in the festival arch (according to Newton’s law the recoil was as strong as his blast) so essentially he took the same amount of power that todoroki did and got up instantly and was ready to fight again while todoroki passed out. Honestly I feel like bakugo would win because Todoroki relies to much on his power and since bakugo is a close-up fighter he had to learn hand to hand combat...and Shoto probably never really got to focus on that since his father only really wanted him to focus on his quirk and shoto would only be able to counter bakugo but not so much as it only takes about 15 minutes until he starts to get frostbite on his arm.Yes, shoto has his fire but he dosen't really has that much control over it, and his hero suit was only made for his ice quirk since he only relied on that.....that's my theory...
