Personally I think the cheeks are best filled with a cannula, but through an entry about one and 1/2 inch out and one inch up from the corner of the mouth. Ive seen many doctors fill this way, And I also feel that injections placed deep on the chin can migrate downwards. I prefer superficial, right below the skin, as you would do lips, where you can make out the outline of needle.

Every provider who does aesthetics should be this precise. I gave up on tear trough / under eye filler after having it done and dissolved like 3 times. Over fill, wrong placement giving me the bags look. I don’t get it. Really I try to tell them it’s my cheeks because I used to have a great NP. But she left to have twins . 😢

I had Allergan's Vollure injected in the tear trough resulting in hitting a vein and over time destroying the collagen depressing the skin. The Doctor used the candula.

I need fillers under my eyes after a tremendous fat loss. After doing treatments with heat and microneedling. Just very afraid of fillers after getting some in my nasolabial (it migrated). That was before my fat loss. Still after years I have the bump. Wish I could find someone as knowledgeable as you.

I've tried tear trough filler 3 times. 3 different spas - every time, in about 2 weeks time the filler just migrated down my cheeks and I was left with even worse hollow. Yes even with cannula. So I don't do this anymore. Would like to try possibly this method when only upper cheek pad is injected and a tiny drop into the corner.

Injector I spoke with uses needle for nasolabial folds filler - I wonder if I find someone how uses canulla? Are needles unsafe?
About nasolabial fold filler, Many trainers say injecting perpendicularly on the bone with bolus dose at NL1 (MD code) helps improve nasolabial fold in people with shrinkage of premaxillary bone space
But some say this is dangerous so they recommend cannula instead
Who should I trust now? The facial artery here runs superficially so is it safe to use this bolus technique??
I need more midface projection, i definitely lost some meat over the past few years and it all just looks so...flat And makes my under eyes look bad. Ive had tear trough filler but i dont think the depth of the tear trough was the issue. Im afraid of the injector effing it up if i ask for this

Watching that needle makes me feel queezy. Does it hurt? Is her face numb? Is it dangerous? Is it costly? Otherwise this is a very detailed explanation with all the technical med term and so on.

Unfortunately 2 years ago I went to a doctor who had no clue what she was doing but I didn’t know because it was my first time getting filler! No lie, she put a syringe worth into each eye. It felt like the stuff was oozing out I swear! Now unfortunately I’m left with what i can only describe as an extension of the eye bag line all the way into my cheeks. It’s not malar lines because it’s not swollen/festoons. It looks like I need filler in my cheeks now, or a mid face lift. I dont know what else to do…
They’re able to dissolve what’s still there that may be causing the issue
What about accordion lines (the lines next to the nasolabial folds) should they be injected deep?
I prefer doing these very superficially

I wouldn’t recommend tear trough fillers. But you could get mid cheek filler, if it’s placed deep enough. Great question!

Hi! Can I get my medial cheek filled to soften undereye hollowness without injecting at the tear trough (I know the results won’t be the same, but I’m too afraid of tear trough filler)
I did just the cheeks and it helped my tear troughs which always bothered me without actually touching them. Hope this helps
